“Let me just start off by saying the service here it’s outstanding!! It was my first time trying ramen and the cashier was very friendly and helped me with choosing my first meal. The food was very tasty and fresh! I will definitely come back again!“

“My girlfriends and I were looking for a good brunch spot and ended up finding this hidden gem in Huntington Park. From the moment we saw the menu and photos, everything looked amazing — we honestly wanted to try everything! So we decided to order a few different dishes and share.

We ordered the chicken and waffles, a chilaquiles plate, and the French toast combo, and every dish was delicious.

The chicken and waffles were fantastic. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served on top of a waffle that was just the right size. There was actually enough chicken for the three of us to share.

The French toast combo came with breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, and beef bacon. Everything was flavorful and again, the portion was generous enough for us all to enjoy.

But the star of the table for me was the chilaquiles. The tortillas were coated in a delicious sauce and mixed with eggs, creating the perfect balance — not too soggy and not too crunchy. They had just the right crispness. The dish was served with refried beans, queso seco, sour cream, and a spicy sauce on the side that added the perfect kick.

We truly enjoyed every bite of our brunch. This place is a hidden gem, and I will definitely be coming back!“

“We came to visit our daughter at CSU Dominguez Hills, and were looking for a spot to eat. We looked up some local spots and Guajillo popped up. We were not disappointed with the Chilaquiles! “Very good food and perfect portions for the price. The quality is high, and the flavors are consistent. It's like Crab Boil Asian fusion in a way. They have both on the menu. And out of left field, the garlic bread was very tasty. I come here often and like it a lot-might be the best hidden secret in the area. If you do not like spice, order the no spice option and it is very mild. The mild is already more spicy than some people would like. Their veggies are always fresh and cooked well. Meats are higher quality. You wont be disappointed with your order from here.“

“I’ve been coming here a handful of times, and boy this places never fails. I was browser through Google maps checking out restaurants, and this spot looked promising. Since then, I’ve been making the mission to come and eat here for fresh, well cooked seafood and their micheladas is probably one of the best tasting ones around the LA county.

I tried a few dishes here, yet I stick with ordering the pulpo tostadas, shrimp tacos and a Michi. Pulpo is cooked very tender and soft, just darn right and never over cooked where it’s rubbery or tough. It’s always cooked just right and the serving is an amazing portion. It’s enough to fill you up.

The shrimp tacos are flavorful, and the shrimp is lightly battered. The taco isn’t skimped out on the amount of shrimp and toppings, and the sauces used aren’t spicy but enjoyable adding extra flavor to the food.

Michis are served in a big cup but the mix used and the chamoy rim is to die for honestly.

In the past I’ve gotten fish chicharrones, and this dish is very delightful, not super greasy, and packs a punch.

Service is friendly, and the lady who’s usually at the cashier is so nice, including her assistant.

I highly recommend. It’s so worth the try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I've been going to Maria'a since I was a kid. My parents, when they arrived to the US from Mexico would go there and so did my aunts and uncles and cousins. Now I take my kids to eat there. The restaurant has always been the same with great quality food and great service. Maria's restaurant is a gem in the community and will hopefully be there for many more generations. Don't sleep on this place, give it a try.“

“This is a restaurant that has great hospitality, they gave us a sample of one of their a la carte menu items. The seating is cozy but you can easily have a conversation with your friend or loves one. We split a lamb curry dish. We tried the Mango laasi and it tasted delicious.“

The food is great, and all condiments are single.pack and unlimited as well. I think tacos at any time are great and at El Gavilan even better with their Chiles toreados and beans on the side. “I walked into a small restaurant and was greeted by the owner who was very polite and accommodating, it was clean and atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered Yellow Curry w/chicken & Pad Si Ew Noodles with beef to go, I was asked to have a seat and about 12-15 mins later the food was ready to go. The yellow curry was tasty but I tend to have very high standards when it comes to curry. It was more than adequate but it could have been spicier and to be honest, I’ve had better and worse. However, the Pad Si Ew Noodle with beef was AWESOME! It was so delicious and perfectly balanced. I would definitely come back just for this dish 😋“

“This place is better than most other Mexican places around. That says a lot considering this is HP. The food is delicious. The business is family owned, so... They will have emergencies and close early sometimes, at other times they will have a slow day. If you are planning to have some food that day contact them before noon. They do need to update the prices on their menu though. With all the shortcomings I still give them 5 stars because the food is so good and I am not too particular about inconsistencies. Just use common sense because it is family owned. You wouldn't be too demanding of a food truck so treat it in a similar way. If not sure about something call and ask before noon.“
