“Decent menu, food is always good, fresh, and tasteful. Pricing gets $$$ out of 5. It's not the cheapest but well worth every dime. I enjoy the homemade tortillas, Avilas chicken soup, crispy tacos (shredded beef), and the traditional flan. For the most part the staff is very friendly and attentive. Parking can be a little tight during the busy hours, but that's not a reason to not come back and visit again with the family and / or my friends.“

“The food is very delicious! I'll start by saying that they are very kind and attentive to people. Its fresh waters are 100 percent natural, nothing to do with artificial powder water, not at all! The hibiscus and mango water were very delicious and refreshing. We had the delight of trying their Oaxacan mole Enmoladas and a poblano mole with two pieces of chicken. Both mole dishes came with white rice with vegetables. The mole was very tasty, spicy and sweet. I really liked it! We also had the pleasure of trying some golden chicken taquitos with chopped lettuce, cream, cheese, and avocado. Their spicy red sauce is very delicious!

I highly recommend this restaurant! They make delicious homemade food, and specialize in Puebla and Oaxacan mole, a variety of cemitas, and tlayudas. They also have Menudo and Pozole, but you have to get there early because if not, they won't have enough like we do :(“

I don't know if this lady was the boss, but omg, the way she spoke to one of the employees (who, by the way, was so nice answering our questions when ordering) was so rude. “I love this place I love the food there so many options but for me you can tell after COVID hit the place started to loose their touch.
Half the restaurant they don't use anymore it's blocked off with tables, they took away karaoke machine and bathrooms aren't so great.
But beside those things still holds up to good food.

“I've been coming to this place for a few years. The food is good. We had tacos asada, carnitas, and pastor
The carnitas weren't as good as I remember. I don't care for them to be served with the fat attached as it's disgusting. I had the Sopes plate. It included two sopes, one asada, and one carnitas. My hubby had the carnitas burrito. We spent about $52 for four people and two large Horchatas which were delish.
I/we were happy overall and will eat there again.“

“I only recommend the green chicharrón gorditas, they are very delicious (they are slightly spicy), and the shredded gorditas don't have much flavor, but if you put the green sauce that they give you on them they will taste better. The strawberry smoothie is delicious and very cold. The service is good and the atmosphere is more or less nice but if you are one of the people who are not comfortable in places with a lot of people around you I do not recommend it.

Parking: The good thing about parking is that it is free, and it is also easy to park on the street. In my experience, it was easy for us to get parking on a Thursday at noon. The bad thing is that the restaurant has few spaces to put the cart.“

“This place is better than most other Mexican places around. That says a lot considering this is HP. The food is delicious. The business is family owned, so... They will have emergencies and close early sometimes, at other times they will have a slow day. If you are planning to have some food that day contact them before noon. They do need to update the prices on their menu though. With all the shortcomings I still give them 5 stars because the food is so good and I am not too particular about inconsistencies. Just use common sense because it is family owned. You wouldn't be too demanding of a food truck so treat it in a similar way. If not sure about something call and ask before noon.“

“i ordered two carne asada sopes for $8 pretty good deal the plate is large and comes with a side of rice and beans (i requested two rice sides instead of beans) the sopes have tomato avocado beans sour cream and queso fresco. it's delicious. i also get salsa verde. both times i have breathed these in (eaten in under 20 min) which is insane because I normally don't eat this much in one sitting nor at that speed (I'm usually the last one to finish eating to give you an idea). i thoroughly recommend this location!:)“

“Yayas is a hidden gem in Huntington Park, the burgers taste great and their well known for their tortas. It's a really tiny place so I don't recommend it for a party bigger than 4. Its more a place for college students because the prices are affordable. I took a star away because the restrooms are outside and they're REALLY NASTY. They accept orders over phone.“

I go here whenever I'm craving it¡ I sit in from time to time but sometimes the people that come through are a bit much as this is on the main street in Huntington Park¡ But it is what it is¡ I don't mind cause I'm from around the way¡ It's the food that matters and why despite what anyone thinks I give this place a 5¡ Just grab it to go if you feeling some type of way.... And don't be a rude vato and you won't have any issues¡“

“I used to live in HP. My three kids were born here. I haven been here for more than 20 years. I decided to go and explore the city just like used to. So I went to eat at El Gallo Giro and then I went to get a coffee at Cafe My Familia. One or one and half hour later my car was tow. My tacos costed me $ 500.00. I'm not coming back for sure.“

I usually go to smaller, or lesser known restaurants cause people seem to judge by first look and usually never give them chances.Oh boy those people really are missing out!! This place sells $1 fish tacos and I paid less than $20 for my brother and I. I bought 10 tacos and got full from them and still had leftover, while my brother had a quesadilla and his was stuffed with meat, very pleasantly surprised not gonna lie. Their fish tacos are very tasty and definitely recommend them for people who can't spend much. They also have other stuff on the menus that I can't wait to try next time I come!!Service was nice, the lady was very kind and went smoothly. I think there were two people working there? Which I understand why you have to wait a while to get your food, but your food will always come fresh and you will be very satisfied!!
