“We were greeted by a friendly staff and received super-fast service. The food was delicious; I ordered a quesadilla de chorizo y papas. I do wish the chorizo had a more pronounced taste, but overall it was good. The Pambazo had a great taste, and each of the salsas provided had a distinct flavor, which I truly enjoyed. The aguas are made in-house, and you can genuinely taste their authenticity. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area.“

“We came to visit our daughter at CSU Dominguez Hills, and were looking for a spot to eat. We looked up some local spots and Guajillo popped up. We were not disappointed with the Chilaquiles! They were delicious and made to order. The food was plentiful and filling and reminded me of my mom's home cooking! Highly recommended!!!“

“Celebrated my 60th birthday here with an intimate gathering when i remembered being here once before many years ago for a menudo breakfast. Service was good aside for the wait to be offered a drink order when we were seated. Otherwise, food and service were great including the birthday serenade! The margaritas were ok but their mix is a little too sweet for my taste. Will definitely be back though!“

“I’ve been coming here a handful of times, and boy this places never fails. I was browser through Google maps checking out restaurants, and this spot looked promising. Since then, I’ve been making the mission to come and eat here for fresh, well cooked seafood and their micheladas is probably one of the best tasting ones around the LA county.

I tried a few dishes here, yet I stick with ordering the pulpo tostadas, shrimp tacos and a Michi. Pulpo is cooked very tender and soft, just darn right and never over cooked where it’s rubbery or tough. It’s always cooked just right and the serving is an amazing portion. It’s enough to fill you up.

The shrimp tacos are flavorful, and the shrimp is lightly battered. The taco isn’t skimped out on the amount of shrimp and toppings, and the sauces used aren’t spicy but enjoyable adding extra flavor to the food.

Michis are served in a big cup but the mix used and the chamoy rim is to die for honestly.

In the past I’ve gotten fish chicharrones, and this dish is very delightful, not super greasy, and packs a punch.

Service is friendly, and the lady who’s usually at the cashier is so nice, including her assistant.

I highly recommend. It’s so worth the try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Best customer service I've ever experienced. The weather was very hot and I was offered a free soda while i waited for my order which I personally thought was very thoughtful and considerate. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, the food is very delicious and very affordable. The torta asada was a 10 out of 10.“

“I thought it's just a random to-go place but turns out this place has one of the best burrito and DIY plate ever! The food is very flavorful here. The peas are well seasoned and not bland like most places. The meats are very good and flavorful. The burnt on the skin makes it has more dimension to the flavor too!“

“The fruit is fresh and better priced than a lot of neighboring shops. I don't eat fish, but I see a lot of the neighborhood going in for fresh seafood cocktails. The lady here is the sweetest lady. She has a donation box that she sends money to a lady in mexico that takes care of animals in the street, and the neighborhood homeless man stocks in and asks for an ice cream every now and then. She asked him to wait outside and then takes it to him. Very sweet owners and great food.Overall fresh fruits and seafood. I highly recommend you support our neighborhood small business.“

“I only recommend the green chicharrón gorditas, they are very delicious (they are slightly spicy), and the shredded gorditas don't have much flavor, but if you put the green sauce that they give you on them they will taste better. The strawberry smoothie is delicious and very cold. The service is good and the atmosphere is more or less nice but if you are one of the people who are not comfortable in places with a lot of people around you I do not recommend it.

Parking: The good thing about parking is that it is free, and it is also easy to park on the street. In my experience, it was easy for us to get parking on a Thursday at noon. The bad thing is that the restaurant has few spaces to put the cart.“

“I love the neighborhood cafe, my sister had mentioned she enjoyed it last time she came with a friend and I came to try it out. I loved the food, their breakfast burrito so yummy and their chilaquiles too. Loved their salsa. Overall great experience and a nice environment to get breakfast and catch up with a friend. “This place is better than most other Mexican places around. That says a lot considering this is HP. The food is delicious. The business is family owned, so... They will have emergencies and close early sometimes, at other times they will have a slow day. If you are planning to have some food that day contact them before noon. They do need to update the prices on their menu though. With all the shortcomings I still give them 5 stars because the food is so good and I am not too particular about inconsistencies. Just use common sense because it is family owned. You wouldn't be too demanding of a food truck so treat it in a similar way. If not sure about something call and ask before noon.“

“I tried their cheeseburger Combo, came with fries and a drink. And honestly I was very impressed. The fries were nice and salted and the burger was quite juicy n cheesy. “This is my go-to taco spot for al pastor. It’s easily the best around this area. The meat is cooked on a trompo and served fresh, with a great marinade and that perfect sweetness from the pineapple sliced over it. The tortillas aren’t handmade, but the flavor of the pastor more than makes up for it.

There have been a few times during slower hours where the pastor is pre-cooked and already cut, but most of the time it’s fresh off the trompo and on point.

I’ve tried other items like their quesadillas and different meats, but those are more on the average side. This place really stands out for the pastor.

They do have a big selection of salsas. My favorites are the verde and aguacate, both spicy and full of flavor. The pickled purple onions with habanero are also really good, and the cucumbers with chile and a squeeze of limón are a great side. Everything for sides are self-serve, which is convenient.

The agua frescas here are some of the best around. They taste homemade, not like prepackaged mixes. Sometimes I’ll stop by just for a cold horchata.

Be ready for long lines, as this place gets packed during the late hours of the night. The line usually moves pretty fast though, and the flavor makes it worth the wait. The seating area has grown over the years and is available at first come, first serve. However, nothing beats eating tacos over the hood of my car.

Service can be hit or miss depending on the staff’s mood. I’ve had a couple of instances where I was told I didn’t pay for an item even though I did, which was frustrating.

Overall, if I’m craving al pastor tacos and a great horchata, this is the spot I’m going to.“
