“We came to visit our daughter at CSU Dominguez Hills, and were looking for a spot to eat. We looked up some local spots and Guajillo popped up. We were not disappointed with the Chilaquiles! They were delicious and made to order. The food was plentiful and filling and reminded me of my mom's home cooking! Highly recommended!!!“

“So I have been on the hunt for some good ol' chilaquiles. The ones where the chips stand up for a while and the sauce is good too. I went to Gloria's Express on Santa Fe in Huntington Park and they did not disappoint. It was a Wednesday around 1030a. They are a restaurant thst serves bowls however you like as well as burritos and and quesadillas. Everything was clean, you could see the cook working his magic on the food. Woman at counter was very friendly. I told her I love chilaquiles and I want this in the picture I showed her an IG post and she smiled. I got the red chilaquiles with steak and scrambled eggs and charro beans for the base of bowl. I was given a complimentary drink. It was a little warm outside but it was cool and breezy inside. It wasn't busy but there was people coming in and out for orders. I sat down at a table and the nice woman brought over my food. It looked and smelled so good. I was glad I chose to eat there. It was flavorful, steak cooked well, eggs just right not over cooked or runny, and the chips still had crunch to them. As I was eating I kept glancing at menu trying to figure out what i would get on my next visit. The woman came from behind counter to wipe off table and she asked 'how is it?' I replied great...I love it. An older gentleman came out and asked if everything was good. I said its delicious I love chilaquiles. Thank you. I ate until my body said enough. Covered up my leftovers and the woman brought me a bag. I walked out and said that it was great and that I will be back soon. I give it a 20/10“

“The Neighborhood Cafe is such a wonderful spot! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, and everything was prepared with great care. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back. “I’ve been coming here a handful of times, and boy this places never fails. I was browser through Google maps checking out restaurants, and this spot looked promising. Since then, I’ve been making the mission to come and eat here for fresh, well cooked seafood and their micheladas is probably one of the best tasting ones around the LA county.

I tried a few dishes here, yet I stick with ordering the pulpo tostadas, shrimp tacos and a Michi. Pulpo is cooked very tender and soft, just darn right and never over cooked where it’s rubbery or tough. It’s always cooked just right and the serving is an amazing portion. It’s enough to fill you up.

The shrimp tacos are flavorful, and the shrimp is lightly battered. The taco isn’t skimped out on the amount of shrimp and toppings, and the sauces used aren’t spicy but enjoyable adding extra flavor to the food.

Michis are served in a big cup but the mix used and the chamoy rim is to die for honestly.

In the past I’ve gotten fish chicharrones, and this dish is very delightful, not super greasy, and packs a punch.

Service is friendly, and the lady who’s usually at the cashier is so nice, including her assistant.

I highly recommend. It’s so worth the try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“The fruit is fresh and better priced than a lot of neighboring shops. I don't eat fish, but I see a lot of the neighborhood going in for fresh seafood cocktails. The lady here is the sweetest lady. She has a donation box that she sends money to a lady in mexico that takes care of animals in the street, and the neighborhood homeless man stocks in and asks for an ice cream every now and then. She asked him to wait outside and then takes it to him. Very sweet owners and great food.Overall fresh fruits and seafood. I highly recommend you support our neighborhood small business.“

The food is absolutely fantastic although it's a bit pricey, the quality is certainly worth it. We love coming during the week to enjoy a meal, but Sundays have become particularly special for us. “This place is better than most other Mexican places around. That says a lot considering this is HP. The food is delicious. The business is family owned, so... They will have emergencies and close early sometimes, at other times they will have a slow day. If you are planning to have some food that day contact them before noon. They do need to update the prices on their menu though. With all the shortcomings I still give them 5 stars because the food is so good and I am not too particular about inconsistencies. Just use common sense because it is family owned. You wouldn't be too demanding of a food truck so treat it in a similar way. If not sure about something call and ask before noon.“

“This is my go-to taco spot for al pastor. It’s easily the best around this area. The meat is cooked on a trompo and served fresh, with a great marinade and that perfect sweetness from the pineapple sliced over it. The tortillas aren’t handmade, but the flavor of the pastor more than makes up for it.

There have been a few times during slower hours where the pastor is pre-cooked and already cut, but most of the time it’s fresh off the trompo and on point.

I’ve tried other items like their quesadillas and different meats, but those are more on the average side. This place really stands out for the pastor.

They do have a big selection of salsas. My favorites are the verde and aguacate, both spicy and full of flavor. The pickled purple onions with habanero are also really good, and the cucumbers with chile and a squeeze of limón are a great side. Everything for sides are self-serve, which is convenient.

The agua frescas here are some of the best around. They taste homemade, not like prepackaged mixes. Sometimes I’ll stop by just for a cold horchata.

Be ready for long lines, as this place gets packed during the late hours of the night. The line usually moves pretty fast though, and the flavor makes it worth the wait. The seating area has grown over the years and is available at first come, first serve. However, nothing beats eating tacos over the hood of my car.

Service can be hit or miss depending on the staff’s mood. I’ve had a couple of instances where I was told I didn’t pay for an item even though I did, which was frustrating.

Overall, if I’m craving al pastor tacos and a great horchata, this is the spot I’m going to.“

“This was the 3rd time I have been to this place with my father. The menudo was delicious. Every item on the menu is authentic Mexican food from the nopales con huevo to the mole just mouth watering. The ladies behind the counter are very friendly and really nice. 👍👍“
