“Hidden gem-- owned by a friendly Mexican couple from Jalisco, Mx. All food tastes like your fam made it! My usual breakfast meal are the Chilaquiles because of the tortilla crunch and spicy kick- paired with café de hoya. The couple times I've been there's always families enjoying their meals. Parking available and easy to walk to.“
“Such good food. Fresh tortillas and deliciously marinated meat. One of my favorite spots near me. Staff is kind and patient with my orders as I eat low carb meals. They help each other with orders which makes the ambience easy to come back to. The inside is a bit small, but it doesn't matter to me as I always takeout.“
“I had a burrito mojado de Asada in red sauce. The sauce tasted homemade. The meat tasted grilled, and it was well seasoned. It was a great price and portion. The tacos were pricey, but I do admit they're good, big af, and come in a freshly made yellow corn tortilla. I had asada and carnitas. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the agua de Tamarindo. It was not good. The food was really good.“
“Food and service are great. Whoever doesn't give 5 stars is just salty. The food is prepared to perfection and their selection is pretty fresh. Their aguachiles are popular amongst fans, fair warning they're very hot and addictive. The staff is mostly family and is very family oriented.“

“Came to their restaurant for the first time and was met with such warmness. We ordered the #12,15,20&26. The #26 was my favorite and so was the number #15. All of the food was good though. They just remodeled the restaurant so everything is really modern and clean. The staff is very friendly. Their pepino lemonade with chia seeds is a must have. Definitely recommend this place!“
“All good ! Excellent food! But... it is not appropriate for you as a client to have an elderly person with half-naked pants. The poor man coughs and coughs (I don't blame him, due to his age) but it is not correct that he still hands out the menu cards without cleaning his hands. “*VEGETARIANS*(and everyone else)...Tacos de papas especial ? (3 potato hard shell tacos+ drink) I usually get it with the piña but they also have horchata and fountain drinks. They have a plate with 2 potato tacos + rice and beans as well, which is good and I get when I'm in the mood for a plate. Ask for cucumber (pepino), lime and onion and cilantro on the side. Salsa Verde and the extra hot salsa I think it's made with habanero and it's bomb ?? but pretty spicy. Their red salsa is okay, just not my usual go-to in any place. It's small but everyone is chill and they take phone orders. There's also seating in the little patio area. Not sure, but I don't think there's a restroom. Be careful parking on the street (Firestone) during certain times. You will get a ticket. “Had the tacos dorados for my first time getting food from here. The lady cashier was nice and professional. She answered my questions so I could make the right choice of what to get. The food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back. I'm glad I found this restaurant.“
“The food was DELICIOUS. We tried the Rocky (a tower of mixed seafood), tacos tochos, and a shrimp cocktail. The owners are very polite and very accommodating. The owner gave us samples of future dishes. Is hard to get good service or basic service now a days, but this place really made an effort to make us feel welcomed. The seafood is delicious, they have great shrimp ceviche and they actually devein the shrimp which is not always the case other places.The food is delicious. Got the 3 taco coombo with a drink(carne asada[beef] and lengua[tongue] for $6.99 and 2 chicken Sopes(corn dough "patty" covered with beans, meat, lettuce, onions, cream and cheese),also $6.99. Got it with a deliciously refreshing Horchata. Around $15. Got a Menudo($10.99) to go. This location is very basic with around 6-8 tables. This place has another location in Inglewood. “They have the best sweet corn tamales of any place. (And We have tried many), They are moist with the perfect amount of sweetness. They also sell authentic salsa, champurrado and other tamales as well. I have only tried the sweet corn ones..“
“I've lived nearby to this hidden gem and never ventured inside until around 2 years ago. Food, service and ambiance is wonderful. We decided after our first time there that it would become our Taco Tuesday spot. Be warned though, it gets kinda packed especially before closing time on Tuesdays for their special when the rush kicks in. Oh man, they have a salsa bar with this habanero sauce that's sooo good and spicy that my mouth waters when I think about it. One lil container is all I need for like 4 tacos. A lil goes a long way. I dare ya to have some. ;) Anyway, give it a shot. It may become your new spot too.“

I usually come in the evening and the ambiance is on the calmer side. The agua de cebada is reaalllyyy good... highly suggest coming here. The pollo a la plancha is also good. The great food, excellent service, and very good value are well worth the 45 min drive.This time we ordered the Trio Presidente and the mojarra frita plate. Both plates were excellent and delicious. Additionally, the chips, salsa, beans, guacamole, and potato salad that came with the food were delicious and good portions also.The service we received from Mary was excellent. “This place never disappoints! I grab lunch here a few times a month and it makes life super easy. I call ahead (although the wait time is not too bad either) and arrive in time to enjoy my delicious meal. The chicken is flavorful and not dry like other places. Recently I ordered lunch for a group of 20 and not only did the party packs make it affordable and simple to order, but everyone was very pleased.
