“Conrad the owner knows what he is doing here. He deserves ⭐. I hope he gets one day.
Food is top tier and his choice to bring the food to you and in order so you get perfect temperature is subtle and appreciated.
Made to order tortillas should be the standard.
I'm just upset I didn't find this place sooner and it was so good. I almost forgot to take a pic of the tacos 🌮“

“Delicious and fast tacos. The restaurant knows what they are doing. The lines moved so fast and I got me food within 5 minutes. They have complementary potatoes which is awesome since they help with the spicy of the spicy salsas. They also have a self serve salsa and topping bar which is my favorite so I can generously garnish and drench my tacos in salsas. We realized this was a really popular spot in this area because it was already 12 am and this place was still really packed. Really delicious and authentic tacos, will definitely come back again.“

“Wanted some taco and found this place on the maps with so many good reviews. Had to check it out and I’m so glad I did. The service was very quick. I love cinnamony coffee and their horchata with cold brew was just a perfection. Their homemade tortillas are definitely something that you need to try this place for. Every ingredient tasted fresh, delicious, made us happy.“

“Este lugar se siente como comer en casa — warm, welcoming, and full of flavor. I ordered the taquitos and two quesabirria tacos, and both were incredible. My fiancé got the chilaquiles with beans, eggs, and steak and he was in heaven from the first bite. And the café de olla? Perfectly sweet, perfectly spiced — honestly the ideal way to start the morning. The whole experience felt so homey and personal, like someone’s abuelita is back there cooking with love. A couple of things to know before you go: it’s cash only and street parking, so come prepared. But trust me, it is completely worth it. ¡Muy recomendado! 🫶🇲🇽“

“I'm not a local, so didn't really have a clue where to go to get something to eat. We looked at the listings on Google Maps, and had actually decided to go somewhere else. We parked and walked passed Guisados on our way to the other place, looked at the specials and checked out the inside and decided to stay and eat here. I am so glad we did. I had three of the street tacos, carne asada, shrimp, and a Chile Rellano, all of which were delicious. The horchata was fresh and sweet, and perfect for taking the little bit of spicy edge off. I highly recommend this restaurant. If I was local, I'd be going back regularly.“

“We had an amazing experience at Good Clean Fun! We reserved the patio for a small work event. The space was so nice. The food was delicious. I loved the pizzas, honestly some of the best I've had. Their wine selection is great, and they make a great Hugo Spritz.
Also, I have to shoutout Hunter! She was an incredible server. She was so kind, attentive, and flexible when our plans changed.
I wish I lived in LA just to be able to come here regularly! I'm looking forward to coming back whenever I visit.“

“The food was on another level, super fresh local ingredients, family recipes made with recognition of the past and an eye towards the future. The vibe in the restaurant is top-notch and the neighborhood is so chill and beautiful. Sat outside and met so many friendly people on the street, and the staff was really gracious. The butternut squash chorizo brussels sprout with preserved lemon dish was banging, enchiladas mole poblano and Chilaquiles with christmas sauce and pecan flan were all so good“

“La Fonda of Inglewood was a really good experience overall. The food was good, the space was clean, and the whole restaurant felt inviting from the moment we walked in. It has a low-key, relaxed atmosphere, but also a fun personality that makes it stand out. The signage throughout the restaurant is in both English and Spanish, and some of it includes jokes and puns, which gives the place a lighthearted and welcoming feel.
One thing I appreciated right away was that they start you off with one free serving of chips, salsa, and bean dip. That was a nice touch and a great way to begin the meal. They also have a self-serve water station, which is convenient, and even that area has personality with a themed word search.
Their menu is thoughtful and has something for everyone. They serve breakfast all day, which is always a plus. They also offer a specific vegetarian/vegan menu and a dedicated kids menu, so it feels like they really try to accommodate different needs and preferences.
The food itself was fresh, clean, and well prepared. They offer all of the standard Mexican fare, but it tastes like it is made with care. We tried the crunchy tacos, wet burritos, and fish plates, and everything was flavorful and satisfying.
Overall, La Fonda is a clean, inviting restaurant with good food, a fun sense of humor, and menu options that make it easy for a variety of people to enjoy. It feels comfortable, casual, and well put together. I would definitely go back.“

“Chichen Itza is a local gem; a real, honest cocina Yucateco. I often find that even if yucatecan cuisine is on a menu of a restaurant, it may be half hearted, perhaps assuming the flavors and heat won't sell. Absolutely not the case her
Chichen Itza is a small, but confident showcase. There is consistent high quality to the food, which is artfully prepared and served. The dishes include delicacies such as: Cochinita Pibil, Poc Chuc, Relleno Negro, Agua de Chaya, and others. Humble, basic ingredients from the earth and sea, crafted into dishes possessing impeccable flavor and soul.
For those wary of high scoville numbers, the heat is restrained, but you can lay it on too and enjoy the wonderful flavor that can be harnessed from the Habanero.
As it is within a food court, and there is the intensely popular Holbox next door, the smell of ceviche and other uncooked seafood can be present. Finding seating can be challenging as well. Do not let this keep you from going.
Park on the street, and ignore the line out the door for Holbox. The food, and the people of Chichen Itza are worth every effort to come enjoy.“

“We came in on January 1st and there was only one person sitting inside eating. We grabbed some menus and sat down and waited for a short while before someone came in from the back to take our order. Just one guy taking orders and in the kitchen, he was still able to get our food and the food for the few other people who came in after us out really quickly. The food was great, and the guy working was super nice. Come to find out towards the end of our meal that they were not actually open today. He’s there every day and his friend had come by so he let him in to eat and we just happened to get there when the door was unlocked. I (and I overheard the other patrons expressing the same sentiment) was very apologetic but he said it was fine, “I like it” he said. I still feel kind of bad about it but it was also kind of lovely, what a sweet heart.“

“Great authentic Mexican spot — super tasty and great value
Loved this place! It’s a small, lively, no-frills Mexican spot on Melrose — you order on a machine and they call your number when it’s ready.
The food is really delicious, very authentic, fresh, and full of flavor — not touristy at all. You can actually see the team cooking right in front of you, which makes it clear everything is fresh.
The vibe is fun and energetic, with loud Spanish music playing, which adds to the experience. Seating is limited (mostly counter seating), but there are a few tables outside on a small terrace.
We’re a French family with three children, and during our 4-day stay in Los Angeles we had lunch here and absolutely loved it.
Overall, a great quality/price ratio — highly recommended!“
