I did go here with low expectations because a buddy had told me it is not good but I had a great time. The spicy, skinny Margaritas were super tasty and actually spicy. Fresh guac hit the spot. Ordered the #1 and didn't need the extra taco but the enchilada was so cheesy, soft and delicious. The waiter called me amigo. Love the historic vibes. I think the best spot of this ilk I've been to in LA.
I’ve been meaning to stop by this iconic place for a while. Having not featured all over the place. Many people say it’s too kitschy or over rated. I have to disagree. I love the Old Hollywood Kitch. I love that it’s no muss, no fuss. Good food, good drinks. Fun atmosphere, people who have been working there forever. It’s exactly the kind of place I want to hang out and grab some Mexican food.

I really like it here. We somehow always end up here any time we are in LA. The food is delicious in that very specific Los Angeles style Mexican food kinda way. The margaritas are strong and I wish I could remember the name of our waitress. I know she's been there a long time because she always seems to be our waitress no matter how many years have passed since our last visit. She's awesome.
