The food is consistently amazing rich in flavor, homemade, and prepared with genuine care and tradition. Despite what may appear online, the restaurant is NOT permanently closed, they are OPEN and actively serving customers. Please don’t let that misinformation stop you from visiting. Every dish I’ve tried has been excellent, but the tamales are truly unforgettable, hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. This place is a true hidden gem that deserves recognition and continued support.“

“The food is sooo tasty! The smokey flavor carne asada is awesome. The salsa tastes great. I been here a few times. I always get the quesadilla de tinga which I highly recommend. Today though I tried the chilaquiles. Wow! Ask for them with a strip of carne asada on top.“

“The restaurant was quite when we arrived, but they were quick to let us take a booth and brought us our menus. There was no wait for the food and It was nice a hot, I had to let it cool down. Best mom and pop. I highly recommend their Tuesday special you HAVE to try their hard shelled tacos!!!! The ceviche mixta was fresh and my husband says the shrimp were cleaned, and you can tell it wasn't frozen. We even had dessert. Please come on by. We will return!!!“

“First time at Tacos Raul and I was seriously impressed! I ordered the wet burrito and it was so good, flavorful meat, perfect seasoning, and a generous portion. What made it even better? It came with a horchata included, which was super refreshing and tasty.

Service was fast and prices are cheaper than other spots I've been to, but the quality doesn't feel cheap at all. The dining area was clean and not overcrowded when I visited, making it a really chill spot to enjoy my food. Plus, there was plenty of parking outside, which is always a win.

“looked up this place on yelp a few days ago while looking for menudo and parole. we were on a time constraint so ate elsewhere. Today went to eat brunch across street from yolis but line was too long. leaving driveway we saw Yoli's and decided to eat there. Wow were we impressed!! the place is small but comfy, staff very friendly and fast service. Food was delicious! I had the tamale, crunchy taco with rice n beans. wife and daughter had parole. All the food was very flavorful like homemade!! Chips n salsas were awesome!! Great fruit infused water. juices, fountain sodas. I've been enjoying their food for years from a their location off of 54th Street and Central where they sell Excellent Tendon Tacos. Now, they have this Brick and Mortar location.
I had the Birria Ramen and a Tendon Taco. Everything was delicious! Will be back again.“

“I haven't gone to these spots enough to have a variety of the food but im giving this one 5 stars just because of the tacos dorados de papa. I can't speak for the other spots of similar name, there's several, but this particular spot has real taco shells. Not the Mission tortilla style Sizzler type taco shells. So if you like tacos dorados, give it a try. If I remember correctly, their quesadillas are well served too.“

“Gotta start by saying that this El Pollo Loco in Downey looks super modern, wish all Pollo Locos looked like this one. I tried the Chicken Habanero Tostada, and I gotta say its a win. It was a nice change-up from my usual Chicken avacodo Tostada. Only thing... My chicken was a little cold. Still good, but could've been warmer“

“The meat has some of the better flavor ive seen in a long time. Tried the tacos and tortas and they were good. The torta seems a bit off. I feel like they are using the wrong ingredients or the incorrect order because the lettuce was soggy and drove down the taste. By no means is this bad food. I think it just needs some rethinking. Dont change the meat. Do avocado instead of guac on the torta. Find a way to keep the lettuce crispy. And i think the cilantro may not belong in the torta. But other than that this is a good restaurant. I think with some small tweaks, it deserves a 5 star.“

Just as you catch from the side of your eyes it a cart wheeling private bar tender inquiring on if you would like a margarita! We ordered a $75.00 plate of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops; I was disappointed for that price they give one shrimp a d two scallops? Steak was the bomb dot com though.“
