My husband says their pina agua Fresca is the best he’s ever had. Plus they have vegan options that’s why we go, their vegan ceviche is chefs kiss! Plus they complimentary chips and salsa are amazing as well. I would definitely buy that salsa to always have at home.“

“We popped in for a post-golf feast last night, and let me tell you – this spot was the perfect choice! The vibe was super chill and fun, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We dove into a shrimp ceviche to start and then shared a combo plate loaded with soup, cheese enchiladas, chips and salsa, and a guacamole tostada with asada and chicken. “I honestly love this place! It's the best Mexican food in south east LA in my opinion. Molcajete is to die for! Salsa is addictive! Service is beyond good. Environment was lively with games played on multiple screens. Clean, bright and welcoming. Owners are always hospitable and fun to interact with. Go here, but save a table for me :)“

“A small family owned Mediterranean restaurant. We were in Downey so decided to swing by for a quick lunch. We ordered from a nice person named Daysha. She even provided us with a free tasting of their baklava and was really tasteful. Our meal came very fast. It was great. Will be coming back here again and will try more stuff from their menu.“

“We were around the neighborhood and tried to find some authentic Mexican food to eat. After searching and reading reviews, we decided to give it a try. As other reviews mentioned, it's for to-go orders only now. We order their burritos. Kids had carne asada and I had al pastor. The food was ready pretty fast and they were nicely wrapped and hot. They were yummy and super fulfilling! Luckily I asked for the sauce on the side because the red sauce was super spicy and tasty! I love spicy food but I wanted to taste the burrito, too. ?. We didn't take any pictures because we were super hungry and there was nothing left for taking pictures. This place is a gem and I will definitely go back.“

I’m glad I did. The food was very authentic and flavorful made me feel like I was eating a home cooked meal from someone’s grandma. Service was great ambiance was great made me feel like I was back on vacation eating breakfast at a restaurant in Mexico. Stop by you won’t be disappointed. I would recommend any of the mole dishes it’s not too spicy and on the sweeter side of moles my favorite!“

I've been enjoying their food for years from a their location off of 54th Street and Central where they sell Excellent Tendon Tacos. Now, they have this Brick and Mortar location.
I had the Birria Ramen and a Tendon Taco. Everything was delicious! Will be back again.“

“Best Tacos I've had in all of LA ! Their beans are so mouth meltingly delicious and their rice tastes just the way gramma used to make it! I also love that they always have spanish music blaring out the side of their kitchen so you can jam out in the drive thru! And their open till 3 am so it's perfeeeccttt for coming to after a night out on the town when you're starving and want the best tacos everrr ! For the love of God get your tacos here! “Coming here for the second time and honestly it's a good bar/restaurant. Great atmosphere, live DJ plays great music and they serve good food. The tablitas are great for sharing but if you're hungry or in a big group then the tablones are better for sharing. Big menu if you want your own plate. Lots to choose from. The drinks are well made. The Michelada flight was ehh. To sweet for me but my favorite one was the pepino flavored michelada. Inside gets pretty loud so sit next to each other instead of across. They also have seating outside. Friendly service. I see what people mean by under staffed but in my opinion service was still great.

FYI : The pizza tablita has a pizza with pastrami, pickles and drizzled in mustard. (Incase you don't f*ck with any of that ?)“

“I'd give food a 5 but the way they made the ceviche is like tomato and onion based, like I get it suppse to carry tomato's and onion but for it to be MOSTLY that and not the ceviche is crazy!! It was delicious though. Everything was good except the sushi tempura Cali roll, they make their own sushi sauces but eel sauce is DEFINITELY needed. Maybe I got the wrong sushi since they're lots of different ones. The service when I got there. I almost left because it took awhile to get greeted, the were staff passing me and didn't acknowledge me, I thoguht that was rude. Acknowledgement is VERY important. I think the manager or the owner kept passing by and had the meanest, bitter face and idk but I think that if you're a manager or the owner you should be friendly and nice and give acknowledgement. The food was delicious though.“

Removed a star for service only because if you didn't check your bag at drive through sometimes an item may be missing. Just as you catch from the side of your eyes it a cart wheeling private bar tender inquiring on if you would like a margarita! We ordered a $75.00 plate of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops; I was disappointed for that price they give one shrimp a d two scallops? Steak was the bomb dot com though.“
