“First time here and we had a blast!! The bottle service was the best we didnt have to keep finding our host at all they kept coming by making sure we were good, clearing our tables and making sure we had everything we needed!! “Xecora Restaurant was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and full of unique flavors. The blend of spices truly made me feel like I was back in Nayarit, Mexico authentic and unforgettable.

“Everything about this place is awesome! Ishmael helped us and his whole vibe was chill (in the best way possible) and kind. The tea was wonderful and the food was delicious - so.much.food. My only adjustment to the whole experience would be to turn by one quarter how people are seated at the tables. My daughter sat with her back to the door and I was facing her. The glare from outside was pretty bright so I wore my sunglasses most of the time. We probably should have just taken it upon ourselves to scoot around.“

“We had an amazing experience at Good Clean Fun! We reserved the patio for a small work event. The space was so nice. The food was delicious. I loved the pizzas, honestly some of the best I've had. Their wine selection is great, and they make a great Hugo Spritz.
Also, I have to shoutout Hunter! She was an incredible server. She was so kind, attentive, and flexible when our plans changed.
I wish I lived in LA just to be able to come here regularly! I'm looking forward to coming back whenever I visit.“

“I never know this place was beautiful and elegant bar. This place is gorgeous especially the open windows view of the hills leading towards gorgeous home. The atmosphere is old fashioned but very well designed. The people were nice and so friendly. Now the music isn't for me. Maybe because l didn't stay passing 1030pm but the drinks were top tier. I tried several drinks and they were exquisite. This place is open everyday with never charge. Must come and visit especially this time of the month OCT. Definitely will come again.“

They have a live DJ spinning turntables, bumping music from the past to present. There's an outdoor patio in the back.

“While waiting for a show a couple blocks down at the belasco, we came here for a couple pre-showed drinks. The bartenders were excellent, the security outside was very friendly and helpful. Seating was no problem, though we arrived at 5:30 p.m. It did get much busier over the next one and a half hours.
What note that the bar can be ordered from both ends so often when there are six or seven people waiting on one end, a little hack to go to the other side will often get you quicker service. It is no fault of the bartenders, it's just that it takes a little time to order. Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms. Will be back!“

“We had a great experience at this bar! Even though we arrived late, Dustin, was incredibly warm and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for the night. Our servers, Juan and Robert, were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service never felt rushed, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. You can really tell they care about their guests. We’ll definitely be back!“

“3 pool tables the coldest, cheapest beer/ drinks in Southgate & Los Angeles CA. The owner Fred is a great person. A little ruff around the edges but the best damm bar in Southgate. The people there are awesome 💯. I come from Pasadena to Southgate just to drink beer and play pool . Let That sink in...“

“In April, 2026, I was staying at a neighboring hotel and decided to go to Cabrillo, which is located inside the Proper hotel, for breakfast. I got a seat immediately after I arrived. The service was pretty good. I ordered oyster mushroom omellette, which is rarely found anywhere else, and toast. The food came pretty quickly and was awesome. The omelette had just the right amount of oyster mushroom. The toast, somehow, was extremely tasty. The food was plentiful as well. I took some of the toast with me and ate later in the day. The total bill was somewhat on the high side (at about $40), but I thought that the food was worth it. I would gladly go back there again.“

“Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Pool table, golden tee, and they just added 2 dart boards. Live music a few nights a week. Cheap prices here don't mean cheap drinks.“

Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. “Came here with the boys on a Saturday night of debauchery. Always drive by, never went in. Decided to visit instead of the bikini bar across the street. Very pleased, excellent prices, awesome regulars(from what I could tell). Very chill and welcoming. They had karaoke going which was fun. Cash only though.“

“Sawa is easily a top-10 restaurant in my opinion. The chef deserves a star. The entire experience went beyond my expectations, truly outstanding. I had so much fun dining there; the environment is friendly, and every bite was delicious. “Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“
