In April, 2026, I was staying at a neighboring hotel and decided to go to Cabrillo, which is located inside the Proper hotel, for breakfast. I got a seat immediately after I arrived. The service was pretty good. I ordered oyster mushroom omellette, which is rarely found anywhere else, and toast. The food came pretty quickly and was awesome. What an absolutely INCREDIBLE breakfast! I would come back here even if I wasn’t a guest at the hotel! The food, interior, and staff are all amazing. Carlitos took care of us like we were truly family. You are all so, so lucky to have him! Everyone go see Carlitos!!!
All I can say is that Events Manager Julio truly knows how to throw an unforgettable party! He did an outstanding job for my university’s reception. From his coordination to the incredible restaurant staff, delicious food, and exceptional service—everything was absolutely amazing.
