This is just a great discovery - definitely one of the best menus and best values for serious dining in Los Angeles. Wine and cocktails outstanding.
I picked up a pack of 18 wings for a potluck and they were huge hit with the group! Half lemon pepper and half garlic parm. The wings were juicy and the flavors were great. I also like how the order came with sauce and veggie sticks included. I'll definitely be ordering wings from here again.

Firstborn is a restaurant known for its exceptional food and attentive service, creating a memorable dining experience. Guests often praise the fried chicken, calling it the best they have ever had, along with popular dishes like duck and carrot salad. The chef, Anthony, offers interesting twists on Chinese comfort dishes, with seasonal menu rotations that keep the experience fresh. The signature cocktails are also highly recommended, featuring Chinese-inspired flavors and well-crafted drinks at a stylish cocktail bar. The atmosphere has a cool vibe, making it a great place for date nights or special occasions. The staff is friendly and attentive, with some diners noting that servers and bartenders go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. However, the restaurant can be very loud, which might be uncomfortable for those with sensitive hearing. Overall, Firstborn offers a fantastic fusion of French-Chinese cuisine, excellent drinks, and great hospitality, making it a place worth visiting multiple times.
