I love their moon cake. They taste and look like what I remember from when I grew up. Those are real moon cakes.Unfortunately, I'm not living in LA area. I wish they do mail order.
Road trip checking out bakeries in China town. This place was my top favourite!! Very authentic Chinese bakery with quality ingredients. Very large portions with reasonable prices. “Wife Cake” was very unique not like typical bakery recipes - wintermelon, variety of seeds for complexed taste and texture. Peanut candies are very crunchy, fresh, not too sweet. Easy to find street parking.

All the staff we very nice & very friendly. They all seemed very genuine in making sure we were not just satisfied but also happy. I grew up in Chinatown & went to school less than a half mile away so Im very familiar with the shops & business culture there. It can take a while for Westerners to get used to the retail style in a lot of Chinatown shops. On the contrary, Kim Hung Bakery treated us better than most the places we go to in South Pasadena.
