“I actually really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered here, all the mains we got were excellent! Rendang was on the pricier side but honestly it was probably one of the best ones I’ve had!
Staff was nice and the restaurant was also clean.“

“We were greeted at the door, and given complimentary miso soup with our order. We got six different Yubu (buy five get one free). They were FANTASTIC. The torched salmon was a little overcooked, so it was a little fishy, but overall they were very good. Bulgogi and King Yubu were overall favorites.“

“A really wonderful dining experience! The food is so creative while maintaining integrity to both Thai and Japanese cuisines. It was really fun to be all seated at the bar for the Autumn kaiseki menu. The sommelier was so fun and friendly and recommended not only incredible wines, but bonus sake tastings well. it's the kind of place that does a fixed menu, but you wanna keep going back because it rotates and everyone's so friendly a perfect blend of upscale and Neighbourhood vibe..“

“The location is lovey and convenient. They have a fixed price menu which allowed us to have an amazing 4 course meal at a reasonably affordable price for the quality. The food was delicious and so creative. The service and staff are wonderful. They did an excellent job with timing the courses — and they really know the food and drink. This place feels like a labor of love and I’m excited to go back. Good parking for like $5 just up the block.“

“came randomly after a concert just because it was in the structure that i parked in and it was open late and damn i was not expecting the food to be so good. For higher end (in my opinion) sushi the price was extremely fair and the food was incredible plus the inside was super nice. On top of that lady that served us was super sweet and attentive def recommend as i’m super picky with sushi“

“I’ve been coming here for years because I literally live a block away. The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

“Amazing food here! We had the Coconut Chicken Soup. The bowl is huge and the flavor is deep. Also got The Pad See Ew which was really good. The Chicken Eggrolls are so good too. Service was great. The food came out quick. Parking is tight but we found a spot. Highly recommend this place!“

“Best bowl of ramen (my fav tonkotsu) in the city! I’ve becoming here for at least 10 years and that ramen has remained so consistent. Also try the milk tea, kimchi fried rice and brick toast! Enjoy J- and K- pop videos while you eat. Love this place!“

“So happy we stopped by O Banh Mi for some delicious banh mi for a late to-go lunch while visiting Silver Lake! The lemongrass chicken and beef banh mi sandwiches were flavorful, fresh, and swiftly prepared, but what I really enjoyed was chatting with the owner, Natalie, who was so friendly and kind to me and my toddler. Vietnamese coffee was also perfect. We can't wait to return on our next trip back to LA!“

“I’ve lived in Mar Vista for years and somehow never knew about this place. Let me tell you… the fish is SO fresh, the rolls are delicious, but the spicy garlic edamame is on a whole different level of amazing!!!! Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Definitely found my new favorite restaurant.“

“What a great surprise... Everything tasted fresh and the flavors felt authentic, and the staff were super helpful.
Instead of the standard yuzu or ponzu you find at most poke spots, the salmon ikura bowl came with a unique house sauce that paired perfectly with the fish. The poke bowl’s mustard ponzu was another standout and added a ton of flavor without overpowering the ingredients.
You can tell they put thought into the small details here. If you’re looking for a poke spot that goes beyond the usual formula, The Bop is definitely worth a visit!!“

“Delicious food, Always good quality. I have been going here weekly for over a year. The only thing that is frustrating, is that their closing time is not accurate with what they have it listed on google, I’ve had doordash orders go through that never came in, and i showed up to the location to be denied.. 30 minutes before listed closing time.“

“Vegan review:
The food quality is really great. Tastes fresh and crunchy and its really good. I got the vegetable roll and it was good. Only reason for 4 stars is price. For what it is and where it is and how much was in the roll, especially it being only vegetables, it was quite expensive. I mean not too much but for the price a larger quality would be better.“

“Good food, I got the #1 and the portions were very filling. They offer samples of the teriyaki chicken which got me to order the dish. Although the actual dish wasn't as sauced, the meat was still tender and tasty. Only downside was that some bites of rice were uncooked.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and its exceptional staff!
While traveling late into the evening with our two young children, an unexpected transit delay left our family stranded downtown waiting on a long connection. Looking for a safe, welcoming spot to get the kids off the street, we popped in and explained our situation.
Even though we were only stopping in for a quick drink and not ordering a full meal, Robert treated our family with extraordinary warmth, kindness, and hospitality. He made sure we felt completely safe, comfortable, and cared for, letting us take all the time we needed to keep the kids relaxed while we waited.
It is rare to find a business with this level of genuine heart and empathy. Beyond the fantastic atmosphere, the level of service provided by Robert and the team is second to none. If you are looking for a spot with exceptional service and genuinely wonderful people, I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Thank you!“

“Love this place! Me and my boyfriend come here frequently and get the lamb kebabs, spicy noodle soup, stuffed mushrooms and fish cakes. The food tastes almost like a Korean/Mediterranean fusion. Their menu is huge and every time I try something new it tastes amazing. Their side dishes are often changing which keeps it interesting. The atmosphere is fun with lots of lights and tv’s often playing K-pop. We come late at night to see our favorite server who often gives us free gifts and is very welcoming. You won’t regret trying it out!“

“Wokshop is legit a hidden gem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ordained plate of that Jajangmyeon and the seafood Jjampong. It wasn't busy so the food came out super fast.
Man, the portions are massive. They are literally ignoring shrinkflation over here. Plus, the lady at the counter was so sweet and greeted us with the biggest smile.
The Jajangmyeon was straight fire. You can actually taste the wok heat in it. felt like I was eating in Korea. The seafood soup? It had the perfect kick and crazy deep seafood flavor. Noodle texture was 10/10 on point.
I was so stuffed but couldn't stop eating. Threw some white rice into the leftover spicy seafood broth. Absolute game changer, it just hits the spot. Did the exact same thing with the leftover Jajangmyeon sauce.“

“I’ve had Curry all over this country and let me tell you they have some fabulous Curry here. Our server Nicole who is extremely nice by the way was very knowledgeable as to how they prepare their Curry she highlighted the chili paste from Thailand. I highly recommend going here if you love Curry their menu is extensive. If you get the Curry be prepared to be blown away !“
“Don't let the fact that they're located inside a market fool you! This place serves up some of the tastiest Philippino food in L.A.!
I've been eating Philippino food from Phil House (Inside Pacific Islands Market, West Covina) since I first discovered them in 2015. I've moved to the westside since but was ecstatic to see that they opened a location in East Hollywood recently and had to try it out. It. Did. Not. Disappoint.!
I love getting their bbq combo with pansit bihon (btw best damn pansit I've had - they use vermicelli to make it).
You get 2 perfectly cooked moist skewers, a generous portion of rice and/or pansit, and their sour soup (yummerz).
I also like to buy their delicious, crispy af, fried smelt fish. Make sure to get their seasoned vinegar - you're going to want to dip them in that!
FYI siracha hot sauce pairs beautifully with this meal. Sadly, they don't provide it but lucky for you, they're located in a market that sells it.
Oh and I got dessert too. I can't remember what we got but it was some sort of tasty taro dessert.
Buen Provecho!“

“Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“
