“Good food big portions. Fast service.“

“We had a 9PM, Sunday reservation at Sora Craft Kitchen, and when we first pulled up, we genuinely thought we were at the wrong place. The surrounding area is very dark and industrial at night, there were barely any cars around, and from the outside you would never expect what’s waiting for you inside.

The second we walked in, it was a completely different atmosphere. It was quiet and super ambient. One thing that immediately surprised me was that it didn’t smell like at all. We were greeted by the chef himself, and seeing him prepare everything right in front of us made the experience even more special. He was essentially running the kitchen himself, yet every dish came out surprisingly fast, fresh, and beautifully prepared.

We started with the Dry-Aged Tenderloin Shish Kebab, and that alone immediately set the tone for dinner. The beef was incredibly flavorful and tender.

Then the chef brought out the Mastabe and PLEASE!! If you come here, ORDER THIS. It ended up becoming the staple of our entire dinner. It’s this creamy house-made yogurt, we literally started adding it to EVERYTHING. The garlicky, creamy freshness somehow complemented every meat and every dish without overpowering anything.

Next came the Siverek Tava, and this one completely blew me away. The combination of ground beef, tomato, and roasted eggplant was incredible. My boyfriend HATES eggplant. Like, refuses to order anything with eggplant level of hate. Even he was shocked at how good it was and how perfectly the eggplant worked with the beef. Huge props to the chef because changing someone's mind about an ingredient they swear they hate says a lot.

The Grilled Branzino came next and was a perfect change of pace. Simple, fresh, perfectly grilled, and topped with vegetables. After all the richer flavors, the fish felt light and refreshing while still having plenty of flavor.

Then we had the Icli Kofte, which might have been one of the biggest surprises of the night. I wasn't expecting such an explosion of flavor from this dish.

Our last savory dish was the Garlic-Spiced Kebab. At this point I was so full and genuinely thought there was no way I was going to finish another dish... and then I kept eating it. It was smoky, garlicky, juicy, and so flavorful that I literally couldn't stop.

And somehow we still made room for dessert.

We finished with the Cheese Halva with Yuzu–Black Sesame Ice Cream, and it was the PERFECT ending. The warm cheese halva practically melted in our mouths. While the ice cream had this refreshing flavor that reminded us of mint and pistachio. The pistachio pieces underneath added the perfect crunch and texture to balance everything out.

What impressed me most about Sora wasn't just one specific dish. It was how thoughtfully everything paired together. Every dish tasted completely different. Nothing felt generic or like something you could order at any other restaurant. You can genuinely taste the freshness and the amount of thought the chef puts into the flavors, textures, and pairings.

Don't let the location fool you. Once you walk through those doors, it's this little hidden gem where the food completely speaks for itself.

Mastabe is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Order it and put it on everything.

Such an amazing dinner and the perfect way to end our day. We left ridiculously full and already talking about coming back. Easily one of the best meals we've had so far.“

“Bento boxes are of great quality here. The attention to detail of this curated meal definitely lets your eyes feast first. All the little sides taste amazing, especially the candied sweet potatoes. The vegetables alternate between sweet and salty to balance out the meal. The Scottish salmon and mackerel are cooked to perfection. The little yolk in the rice also adds a nice touch to mix in and eat.“

“We ordered the pork chop rice (豬排飯), beef noodle soup (牛肉麵), house cold noodles (雞絲涼麵), and popcorn chicken (鹽酥雞). The portions were massive, and everything tasted completely authentic to me. My absolute favorite was the pork chop rice, especially because it came topped with that savory minced pork belly. The service was fantastic, and the restaurant is incredibly clean and family-friendly.“

“The food was excellent and quite fresh. Some of the decor was nice but I didn't care for the bright neon lights and the repetitious techno music. It took me back to the 90's club scene. If they make slight modifications to make the style and make it a bit more up to date, it will be an excellent place. Also, there was one server on the floor the entire time which made the service slow and the restaurant a bit sad. Some of the folks in the kitchen, the owner, etc.. could be at the bar or working on the floor to make the space look a bit more lively.“

The ladies were very kind and I appreciate the system of checking off everything you want. We took our own drinks and no issues there. Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. A little pricey but worth it!“

“I don’t even know where to begin.

I was craving Korean food—specifically bulgogi and vegetables—and this place came up as a Top Eats recommendation with outstanding reviews. I took a chance… and wow, am I glad I did.

This is some of the best Korean food I’ve had. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care.

I ordered delivery, and even that was flawless. Everything was packaged thoughtfully, nothing spilled (including two drinks!), and every item that was supposed to be crispy actually stayed crispy. That’s rare.

The bulgogi is outstanding. Pair it with the glass noodles or the rice—or do what I did and get both. The house-made kimchi is absolutely delicious, and I took a gamble on ordering an entire bottle of their spicy mayo. Big mistake… because now I wish I’d ordered two.

The eggplant with crispy tofu and vegetables was another standout—savory, satisfying, and absolutely delicious, especially paired with that spicy mayo. The tofu stayed perfectly crisp, which made it even more impressive for delivery.

And then there’s the butterfly peach tea. I don’t know what kind of magic is in that drink, but it completely blew me away. Fresh, balanced, and easily one of the best teas I’ve ever had.

The bulgogi sandwich was rich, indulgent, and somehow still perfectly balanced. Every bite of everything I ordered made me think, “These people really know what they’re doing.”

In fact, I called the restaurant after my meal just to tell them how incredible everything was and to make sure the chef and the team heard how impressed I was. They were just as kind over the phone as their food was exceptional.

The portions are generous, the prices are more than fair, and every dollar felt well spent. Eating out isn’t cheap these days, but this is exactly the kind of place that’s worth it.

I genuinely can’t believe I didn’t know about this restaurant sooner, but I’m so glad I found it. I’ll absolutely be visiting in person because I want to thank the team myself.

“Me and my boyfriend had hookah and drinks here after dinner at yamshiro (upstairs) our server recommended this lounge so we checked it out after dinner. You have to have reservations on the weekends here as it gets pretty busy but luckily the host made something work for us I believe her name was Maria. She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. The Chicken Curry Noodles (with the flying noodles 🤩) completely amazed us! The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. “We’ve been eating here for years, maybe 5 times a month. The service is friendly and quick. The food is delicious. I almost always get one of the ramens (I have five is six favorites) and they build the flavors carefully. I’d seriously say the whole operation is top notch. We tend to get there a bit before the rush so almost never have to wait for a table. I’ve tried my wife’s choices, (fried chicken, gyoza, green beans w/garlic, etc.) and I promise you the whole menu is terrific.“
