Had my birthday dinner here with family and friends. I've always wanted to try this place and I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance! My faves were the peking duck and the shanghai fried rice. The service was great! Would definitely come back and try to get seated at one of the booths at the staircase.
No birthday treat was provided after booking a reservation with specific birthday request and telling the waitress we are celebrating a birthday. Being proactive in making birthday dinners special is important.

First of all, the multilevel dining room is beautiful, with a stunning giant Bodhisattva statue dominating one end of the room. Very dramatic and the stairs from the lounge down to the main dining level allow for well dressed ladies to make a regal entrance. The food is excellent also. Prices are high, not surprising.
