“Amazing place, amazing food, and amazing customers service!! The braised pork was absolutely delicious for such an affordable price and their portions are certainly worth it. I only ordered the rice as my base and braised pork on the side, it was nicely cooked, tender and the quail eggs were top quality. Highly recommend Tigawok and definitely coming back for more!!!“

“I’ve been coming here for years because I literally live a block away. The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

“Pretty much the greatest taco stand in the city. Their salsa is fantastic and pretty spicy, but you can wash it down with an horchata. You can’t go wrong with any of their meats. Clearly they’re know. For their carnitas, the al pastor and asada are fantastic as well. An LA treasure.

Also, eating there is an experience because you never know who’s gonna be eating there or just the random walking in the eating area, yelling “whaaaaaaaa!” And then just walking out as easily as that. Love this place.“

“A hot summer day in Chicago doesn't tend to scream "birria tacos!" and yet I found myself eating at Chela's with a friend. The establishment looks small outside (there is definitely limited parking shared with a Subway sandwich shop) but there is a lot of seating. The service was great- the waitress was very attentive and the cashier was very nice. There are complimentary tostadas and sauce brought to the table and the birria tacos are fantastic! Multiple salsas are provided, but the tacos are spicy themselves. Highly recommend trying them out.“

“Love the burgers here. One of the few that don't over price their delicious food. The place is always busy, yet the service is fast. They have drive-throu, take out orders over the phone. Always clean, playful staff, great atmosphere, T.V. for your amusement, and if you're a little short on $, if you're polite and ask for a break, they just might hook you up. A little I don't mean 5$ rather 1$ or 2$. I would recommend their ranch style grilled chicken burger.“

“I came in today for breakfast. I had great experience today. It’s been a while since I have had a good experience like today. The cashier who helped me, Rafa, was amazing, he was kind, and helpful. I changed my mind like 3 times, he didn’t care he was patient. I see 3 bad reviews here from 2 months ago, it’s night and day, the difference. He got my order, it was quick and he even brought it to me.
It’s one of those things like, he ACTUALLY cares about his job and tries his hardest

I suspect at some point they will have to embrace the nutritional social and environmental world it IS a part of but for now as a greasy spoon it spoons quite nicely“

“The space downstairs (there's an upstairs section as well where you could dine and also rent out for a private event) is a little tight but overall I love the fact that there's a security guard present at all times, the wait times for your order aren't so long, plus most importantly the staff is respectful and welcoming. “For Khachapuri outside of Georgia, it was really very good. I can understand that you can't get original Georgian Sulguni cheese in the USA. But the cheese was a bit too creamy (like Philadelphia cheese or something like that). That would be better replaced with a mixture of mozzarella and feta. Then you get closer to the original. And what should not be missing on any Adjarian Khachapuri is a piece of melting butter. Green peppers were added as a garnish. There is no such thing in Georgian cuisine. Then you'd be better off making a beetroot or a spinach Pkhali with walnuts or pomegranate seeds. Then your Adjaruli Khachapuri will be wow ? დიდი მადლობა!“

“Overall Ralph's is a good grocery store with fresh bread daily. I was disappointed in their refrigerated meals in the deli section. I purchased roast beef and potatoes and it was almost tasteless. The potatoes were hard and it didn't taste like it had been seasoned. I also purchased a bowl of fresh berries which were very fresh and fresher than the other bowls of fresh produce from the other grocery stores in the area.“

“I visited LA to check out the food scene recently. Initially, I was supposed to go to a birria truck in the Sherman Oaks area to find out it was extremely far from where I was staying. My BnB host told me to check out this spot (not to be confused with the restaurant across the street). When I walked up and saw 3 Hispanic guys sitting enjoying their meal, I knew it was gonna be good. I ordered the quesitaco and birria ramen which was about $18. Very filling and a great price“

“I stumbled upon this place while out shopping in LA's fashion district. The first time I stopped in for a fresh melon juice. It was delicious. It was also only $3.50 for a 16 Oz beverage. Unfortunately during this visit I left behind my money clip containing my identification, debit card, etc... When I called later to ask if I by chance they had found my belongings, they indicated that they had and the owner had stored them away for me.

When I returned the following business day to pick my things up, I ordered their Yakisoba noodles ($8!!!) and a 16 0z mixed melon and strawberry drink ($3.75). The noodles were delicious and came with a formidable portion of tasty grilled chicken, mixed veggies, and fresh sliced ginger. Everything was amazing, the prices are almost incredible, and the customer service is top tier. I have found one of LA fashion districts little hidden gems. 10/10 recommend!“
