“The ambience is great! Very nice and homey spot. The staff was very kind too. We ordered a bit of everything.Pros:Prices are very good for all the dishes. Nothing was over 15 dollars on the menu. The shrimp wontons and pan fried pork buns were the best items with the most flavor. The beef roll was huge in size. Great for people that enjoy cucumber and thicker slices of the meat. The bean curd salad had a nice bite and flavor to it. They also have sparkling water on tap!Cons:Parking is bad. Getting street parking is like winning the lottery. The other option is to pay for parking which can range between 10-30 dollars. The dan dan noodles and sha gua mian did not meet our expectations. The noodles seemed a bit overcooked and a sauce/acid could have given the dish more of a balance in flavor. Our table marker was taken off the table a little early and that's when we saw on the receipt that a missing item was added incorrectly. Our server fixed it promptly so that was great.“

“Tattoo artists are incredibly sweet, and very talented. The environment feels very safe and friendly, water is readily available if you need it, and the artists don't mind if you ask for rest breaks. I made positive conversation with everyone who was there at the same time as me. The artist I was there to see, Stanley, did an amazing job with my very tricky scar cover-up tattoo. Also, the aesthetic of this place is absolutely perfect, their interior design choices are really impressive. The green and pink floral theme is adorable.“

“"Sippin from your cup 'til it runneth over..." I heard JT performed at the Wiltern last night for free so I had his music on repeat in my head all day today during work. So of course I had to stop by here as soon as I saw the store name. I did NOT expect to find the best donuts I've ever had in my life. Period. I walked in and was greeted warmly and decided to just order the Original Sin and their version of classic milk. They were so nice and gave me another donut for free which was the Obrama. Everything was so scrumptious. I loved that the donuts weren't too big. The quality of the donut is so good that it only needs to be a smaller size to have the same effect as something larger. The outer texture and the crispness reminded me of the blueberry m&m donuts that they sell in OC where people line up for hours to buy. The donuts here taste better because the inside texture is a lot lighter and isn't as dense so you don't feel disgustingly full afterwards with regrets. I cannot wait to come back and get some for my family and friends. I wanted to test it out myself first prior to sharing with others. Yum! Also their classic milk was soooooo good and complimented the donuts so perfectly.“

The person taking our order was nice but the service wasn't as helpful as I would have liked considering it was my first time. The food was good but not amazing. I ordered the tamales which I had to discard the masa as it was too thick and hard. The monte Cristo sandwich was pretty good. I really liked the strawberry chocolate scone though. “Such a cute coffee/stationery shop. I had the matcha latte with oatmilk and lightly sweetened and it was good but next time i'm getting regularly sweetened. I usually have to ask for lightly sweetened wherever I go and this time when I did, it could've used a bit more sweetener which is a good thing. This way I know they do not use too much sweetener in their drinks. The lady that ran the stationery station was so nice and helpful and she answered any questions about the pens she recommends and the paper quality of the notebooks. You can try the pens and how they write as they have a sample for each and paper to try them and I bought two pens as I love to collect pens.As far as parking, there's plenty of street parking, but I walked here from the nearby LA Historic State Park. It was nice taking a stroll through chinatown with my matcha latte and then I went back to the park to go for a walk. I would come back to this shop and try the other espresso drinks.“

I like that they have a seasonal espresso to try, as an espresso lover who appreciates light roast espresso.Pourovers are okay. I don't know if it's because they are so busy or because of the kinds of beans they use, but many times I find them to not be my favorite. They seem to be worse during rush hour so I think it's an execution thing. Love that they have multiple bean options, I recommend going with one of the "darker" ones as they taste fruitier to me, Marus lightest roasts tend to be sour IMO.Also they need have some restrictions on dogs here. “I had their Tiramisu cake slice. Kinda dry. Staff was more interested in having their own conversations than taking my order. I felt like I waited forever but probably was more like 5 minutes for them to finally take my order. I also had their chocolate chip cookies. Definitely delicious.“

“I have accidentally found the greatest toast in all of America. I was here to meet some friends for an event and thought I’d pop in for a quick bite. I ordered the avocado toast thinking it would be an unremarkable snack. Have you ever experienced something so above and beyond expectation you wonder if you’re on a hidden camera show? This toast is that good. Toppings were fresh, seasoning was on point, and the toast was perfectly soft but toasty. Also ordered the Michelle Wi which lemonade and black tea. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, nice patio and neighborhood parking nearby. Would it be rude if I ordered another toast? Actually considering it.“

“Tienen una selección muy amplia de bebidas sin llegar a ser demasiadas, la mía estaba muy buena, el lugar está limpio y tiene una estética minimalista, el postre estaba bastante rico sin llegar a ser empalagoso, y la bebida estaba bastante refrescante, si quieres tomar una bebida mientras te relajas una tarde de verano puedo recomendar este lugar.“

“The greatest cookies I’ve ever had and it’s setup at a gas station! Amazing cookies and the selection is way more than expected.I had the walnut gooie, cloud 9, the chunkie and the chocolate oatie. All four were delicious and had its own distinctive style. They lived up to the “gooie” expectation and were really filling. I think two cookies were enough to get me good & the others were extra credit. Load up on napkins and the customer service was great.Just be aware the gas station didn’t have whole milk, just 2% but all the cookies were still phenomenal by themselves. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.“
