As a local, Botanica is absolutely a neighborhood gem. I often take visitors from out of town here when they visit, for a taste of fresh, exciting California-Mediterranean cuisine. It’s always delicious, the ambience is magical, and the service is spot-on. The little market in the front is also super handy when you need a good bottle of wine or healthy snacks in a pinch!One word of warning: the servers auto-set the card reader to give a 22% tip, which is sadly trashy.
Light, healthy, and in-season deliciousness :)The food was delicious! I love that they change their menu frequently depending on the season. To me, it's why their vegetables feel so fresh and organic. Most of their options are vegetarian based but they have a few meat options such as a burger. If you're extremely hungry and prefer something large and heavy, I would go with the burger.
