We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. “My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! “Came for aperitivo/apericena to vibe and get some work done. The patio was fun and our waiter was super kind. A chef stepped out with a dish and was taking photos outside, and on his way back we asked if it was new. He offered us the plate and told us it's coming onto the fall menu in a couple weeks. Super fun to try a new dish. We spent a couple hours of hanging, munching, and working here... will return!“

They have a cafe and restaurant, both offering quality food and beverages and a full bar. The restaurant has comfortable seating options and the cafe offers outdoor seating. The service is friendly and attentive. You’ll definitely have a great time and a good meal!“

Everything was really well done and very flavorful. Super thoughtful and unique, and the service was great!! Ray was wonderful and professional. The space was quaint and romantic, lovely date energy. Lots of ingredients put together that you wouldn’t usually expect, as in we had to google a few things, and that creativity is what made the experience a bit fun and exciting as well as romantic and classy :)“

We were seated immediately answered impressed and then charmed by the host, and then our server, the incredible Oscar! He is a gem, and I hope they realize what they’ve got there! He delivered the food in a timely manner, we ate like wolves, paid, departed, and knew we’d be back soon. Maybe even next weekend with the five younger gks who missed out this time.“

They were great at making seating for our large party (we did make reservations in advance).
The hummus plate had lots of beautiful flavors and veggies that melded perfectly. The roasted cauliflower was especially delicious, with a sumac olive oil (I think, I'm assuming by taste), and a tahina, shug, amba dipping sauce.
The shakshuka was peppery and filling.

“Last Friday, we celebrated our 10-year anniversary, and it was truly the best restaurant experience I had in a long time.

The food was delicious, and the scenery was relaxing—even the hummingbirds seemed perfectly in harmony with the beautiful surroundings.

What made the experience especially memorable was the exceptional hospitality. The acting manager last Friday, Julio (if I remember correctly), was outstanding. The way we were welcomed and cared for made us feel genuinely valued and special.
