“Located in the open courtyard within the Hammer Museum, Lulu is a little oasis with a carefully and expertly curated menu. We had the halibut tostada and the spicy eggplant bahn mi, both on focaccia. These were delicious! I also got a N/A version of their blueberry fizz cocktail - extremely refreshing! The service was timely and efficient. The ambience, beautiful wares, the abundance of plants makes for the perfect spot for any typical sunny LA day!“

“Great food , nice people. I enjoyed the pasta and desserts. My biggest issue aside from price is that they tried to give us a 4% surcharge, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Claiming "it's for benefits". They removed it from my check. But please be wary. Otherwise great place“

“Great place to eat! We had our breakfast here and it was really nice. In the evening we went here again to have a quick bite, the staff was so friendly, kept the place open after 9pm and shared their left over pastries for free. 10/10 recommend.“

“We enjoyed a beautiful and delicious birthday brunch with my wife and mother in law. Food is beautifully presented and generous. Service was polite, friendly and prompt. The ambience was lively and fun, with a background soundtrack and decor that made you feel immersed. Have been to two of their locations, will continue to go back.
Parking: Street parking is metered and can be challenging. Just be patient.“

“Really great quality food. From the tasty mushrooms in a perfect consistency sauce to the tender bistek. This place is a fun Filipino hot spot on Sawtelle! The Brussel sprouts, lumpia, pancit and adobo will fill you up! Portions are family style. Highly recommend!“

“Outstanding concept and unique experience commensurate with their newly appointed Michelin Star! We had the 7-Course Menu with the Supplemental Rib eye which was outstanding. I appreciated the Ribeye vs a Wagyu offering. Favorite dishes were the Grilled Job's tears, Burnt Murasaki Yam and Sweet Corn Ice Cream. Also added wine paring which was quite delicious!“

“I reached out to Le Great Outdoors to help me celebrate a birthday with a group of 20 people. The team was super helpful in getting everything set up and was able to set up a secluded area for my group to eat, mingle and hang out. Everyone was super impressed with the ambiance and food. Great venue for a larger event - highly recommend!“

“So it seems this place is seasonal in terms of food so I am unsure what’s something that stays on the menu. I got the turkey meatloaf, fries and deviled eggs. My friend got the loaded baked potato gnocchi (not pictured) and the broccolini. I will say I heard this place was really good so maybe this just wasn’t the best season to go, but the food was good but not overall memorable. Meatloaf was tender and moist and I enjoyed the tangy sauce but it wasn’t a wow factor to it. I would say the star was surprisingly the broccolini. It was amazingly flavorful. I really enjoyed it. The deviled eggs were really good too. Nice little kick to them. The gnocchi, though cooked well, didn’t really evoke a loaded baked potato. I would have been good to have some sort or acid or something with it, as it’s really rich as well. Overall it was good! Not great but solid. I am unsure if I would return unless I saw maybe something different on the menu I’d want to try. I’ll def keep track of their menu to see. A nice date night spot because the restaurant was very cute.“

“Ambiance is exceptional!
The service was careful and attentive and the food is flavorful. For the price point I hesitate to recommend the chicken, and our pizza was a litttttle burnt but again the flavors are great. The Caesar salad really stood out for me. And I would definitely recommend this to a friend for an intimate dinner.“

“We visited Cara restaurant for my birthday, and it was such a lovely, cozy spot! The ambiance was perfect, and the staff were all very polite and attentive, which made our experience enjoyable. We started with the caramelized Brussels sprouts, oysters, and truffle fries. The oysters were incredibly fresh and definitely stood out, while the Brussels sprouts and truffle fries were decent, though nothing extraordinary. For drinks, we tried the Cactus and the Cali, and both were fantastic! We really enjoyed them. Our main course was the chicken shawarma. The flavor was okay, but we felt the presentation could have been better. Overall, Cara is a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!“

“AOC never disappoints. It's great for a romantic dinner or get-together with friends and family, for a special occasion or just random a Thursday. Our kids love the Spanish fried chicken and French fries. We love the creative cocktails and seasonal takes on fish, meat, and veg. For fresh, inventive, delicious food, there is no better place for the value. “

“The atmosphere is beautiful. Love the overview of the city. Clean, welcoming and great servers. The food was just okay and could have been giving better flavor, more presentation, and better portions for the prices. I will return and try something different. Also 20% gratuity automatic.“

“Great atmosphere and wine list. However many of the dishes were a bit over rich/ light on flavor. And look, I know, don’t go to a fancy wine bar expecting value, but the price of many of the simple dishes (salads, simple pastas without meat) were above normal even for LA. Service was friendly but slow“

“Usually very good sandwiches and pastries. Great coffee. I go there a few times a year. Double check the plain croissants before ordering. I had a bad one once. Soft, no flake, no flavor. Was the exception to be cautious about for $5 a try.“

“The restaurant was almost empty because we were there early and the a/c had been out for weeks. Not good when it's 80 degrees out. The pizza was delicious so the only thing that will probably be an issue is that even though the restaurant only had 7 people in it, they would not make any changes to our order in any way. The kitchen flatly refused. I believe that that will be a major issue for this restaurant in the future“

“The food is diverse and tasty. Im happy when find an excuse to go there. If I lived closer I’d be there all the time and would have try everything on the Menu. I believe I express myself to Vicky that I love the place. I don’t usually write reviews or comments but I had to write this one. You won’t be disappointed.

“Badmaash was so delicious. Whether you prefer traditional or modern takes on Indian cuisine, they knock it all out of the park. The Butter Chicken and freshly made Naan was perfect. The charred spicy broccolini from their fusion menu was also tasty. And the restaurant was extremely nice to provide us with a triad of desert options including an ice cream sandwich, coconut pudding and freshly made hot chai. Thank you to Mo & Alex for the excellent service. Can’t wait to return!“

“Perhaps the best pastrami burger I've ever had -- and that's with only the single patty. At my request the pastrami was thick cut (thin sliced was an option); and it's full of flavor. The line moved quickly and our cooked-to-order food was ready in 10-15 minutes. Will return with my burger & pastrami-loving teenage sons for sure.“

“I’m going to have to come back again to try more of the food - when I came here my friend’s dish was far more spectacular than mine, but the atmosphere and overall dining experience made up for it. The service is friendly and the lighting is perfect for d&m’s! Always feels like you’re in the appropriate setting to tell someone a secret…“

“I order online regularly. This morning I ordered my favorite, crepes with 2 eggs over easy. As I was picking up my order from my front door, there was another package waiting for me. Moose Mountain Maple, just in time. Perfect pairing. It made this breakfast super delicious.
My food is always fresh and hot.
PS: When you order the pancakes you can order them in another format other than pancakes. They can be thin or really thin which I like. All yummy.“

“We stopped by for a couple of drinks after dinner at A-Frame down the block and ended up staying for a while. The cocktails were terrific and the bartenders knowledgeable and unpretentious, a rare find! Really cool little neighborhood spot, hope to drop by again at some point when visiting LA.

“LA sirena meets tiki! They have themes during different months. I visited The Mermaid during July, so you know there is Christmas in July! There were many wonderfully spooky themed drinks with a LA sirena twist on your classic tiki drinks. The atmosphere is very chill and 80’s goth beats were playing.“

“Came in to dine alone due to the lovely atmosphere that I witnessed on my river walk. Highly recommend coming here just before sunset! Well, what can I say. The food was honestly exceptional - I highly recommend the pork belly and the baja kampachi. The dessert tart I had was fantastic and the selection of wines is amazing. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in LA!“

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“
