“My wife and I recently visited "Met Her At A Bar" in Los Angeles for a brunch date, and it was an experience that left us both thoroughly impressed. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the chicken and waffles, which was nothing short of amazing – a perfect blend of crispy, savory chicken and fluffy, sweet waffles that created a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. The service at the restaurant greatly enhanced our visit; it was prompt, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. The ambiance of the place, with its cozy and inviting decor, set the perfect tone for a relaxed and enjoyable brunch. This restaurant has certainly set a high bar for brunch spots in LA, and it's a place we'll definitely return to and recommend to others looking for a delightful dining experience.“

“We had a very nice dinner here. I would describe it as a neighborhood kind of place, rather than a destination restaurant. The vibe is casual, and the wait staff attentive. The decor is very bright and colorful, and they have a nice selection of pastas in particular. And they start you out with bags of focaccia, which is quite good.I started with the Yes and? cocktail. It was a nice bright Collins style drink with gin, vermouth, grapefruit, anise, lemon, and bubbles. Very light and balanced. They have a nice selection of mocktails also.We started with two vegetable dishes. Both are excellent. The wax beans are served with an almost creamy vinaigrette; the hazelnuts make a nice addition. The cauliflower is grilled and topped with a mildly spicy walnut raisin caper relish. The cauliflower was a bit overcooked, but it was tasty nonetheless. We each had pasta. The butternut squash capellacci is served with a brown butter sauce topped with crispy sage leaves. This is a classic preparation. The pasta was properly cooked, but they were swimming in way too much brown butter. The "sea shell" pasta with clams were really good, with crispy bread crumbs and lemon. Also good was the buccatini with guanicale, tomato, red onion, and chili. It is a bit spicy. They also will do a kid pasta with butter and Parmesan. The "basque" cheesecake was okay, but most certainly not basque cheesecake. It was way too spongy, and was served literally with 6 blueberries in the side.In summary, the pastas and vegetable starters were all good. They run about $25 a plate. The cocktails are good, but I would avoid that cheesecake.“

“It was a nice welcome back to Westwood for me. Wolfsglen is located in one of my past favorite restaurants in Westwood, Moustache' Cafe. Everything was really good, but what I remember the most was the BEST TRUFFLE PARMESEAN FRIES EVER! It was hot and crsipy, not too oily, and with the perfect sprinkling of parmesean and truffle oil. Thats all I can remember. Those perfect fries.Tonight was my second visit. I was really nervous that the fries would not be as good as the first time. I raved it about to my son. And to my joy, the fries were perfect again. And my family loved them too. It did not disappoint! The 3 of us ordered a bunch of appetizers and shared them together. The standout dish tonight was the fresh pasta rigatoni with shrimp (one the 3 fresh pastas of the night.)“

The drinks were really good we tried the spa day and the coffee and sunshine. Food was very unique but very great tasting. “I was in Studio City running errands and found this little gem while looking for brunch places. Our waitress was extremely nice (wish we got her name) and was very attentive to us when it came to taking our orders and checking in afterwards. She recommended the Pancake Burrito and omg this thing was HUGE! I could barely get through one of them and had to take the rest to go. I added sausage to it, but honestly it would have been just fine without it. Another thing I loved about our waitress is that I told her to take my card instead of bf's for payment because it was his birthday. Afterwards she came out with Nutella and chocolate crepes topped with whipped cream and a candle! She even joked around saying "now sir, why wouldn't you tell me it was your birthday?!" Definitely looking forward to trying this place again in the future.“

“Overall stellar experience. My boyfriend and I cane here to celebrate. I have a peanut allergy as well as some other food sensitivities. The staff was through and amazing about it. They confirmed that the kitchen didn’t use any peanuts to cook with but did have peanut butter on site for one specific dessert. I was a little concerned since I have had other restaurants cross-contaminate in the past, but they went as far as speaking to the chef and confirming that it would be not where near where my food was prepared. Several staff members even confirmed on three separate occasions that nothing would contain peanuts and be safe for me. On top of the amazing service the food was phenomenal. We got the Ribeye and the chicken entrees and they were amazing the Ribeye steak was the best steak I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We ended up here recently on our way to the airport - a happy accident if you will (the first place we tried didn't let anyone under 21 in and we had kids with us...). The Obaasan chicken sandwich and the Spam Musubi burger were both amazing! The sauce on the Obaasan was stellar. The Spam Musubi burger was flavorful - only complaint food-wise is the fried egg was solid so no runny yolk on burger, making it a little dry. The kids' popcorn chicken and burger were both well-liked too. Service was friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio because that was what was available for 4, and appreciated that they turned on the heater for us. The view outside was basically the trashcan while the servers came and scraped all trays into the outdoor trashcan throughout our meal. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable meal.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid menu, though it's not posted. It was a burger, popcorn chicken, a plain hot dog, or grilled cheese.“

“Cute little place and there's a small parking lot! I liked that they have a huge water jug to self serve yourself water. I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich. It was a little expensive but it was really good! I looooved the pate and they gave me so much chicken I thought some of it was extra. I came in at closing and they also gave me a cookie on the house!Super sweet staff and overall I enjoyed eating here!“

“Honestly this is the best time in town to relax, have a drink and a bite to eat. Everything about this place is class. They make great strong drinks and the food is better than you would expect. Not to mention their happy hour is definitely the best in the area and available from 3-6 m-f. I love their Smash burger and brisket tacos. Their wings and pies are good too. Brian is the best I’m sure you will meet him if you frequent this place like I do. He always makes you feel comfortable and is very friendly and genuine.Great for watching sports even though the vibe isn’t a sports bar. It’s a classy establishment.“

“Met up with friends for drinks. One of my friends isn't much of a wine connoisseur, but she enjoyed her glass of A Cote. At least she got her chocolate fix with dessert...which she loved!I loved the DJ of the night. She played so many songs I couldn't help but get in the groove at the bar.Glad we came in for a visit. Considering it was a Saturday night, it wasn't crowded at all. I'm thinking it was due to the holiday weekend, but I'm not complaining. It was nice having it open & free. I'd definitely come back for another round of drinks!“

“I don't know why it's taken me so long to leave a review but this is hands down my favorite local wine spot. First, every time I have come here, the staff is super nice and knowledgeable. I've done wine tastings here as well as just stopping in for drinks with friends and each time, it has been great. The inside and outside has a cozy local feel to it. The wines are delicious and everything I have had has an amazing taste to it. Today was the first time I tried their orange wine and it was so refreshing and tasty. On my previous visits, I've had their pizza and charcuterie boards which was as equally delicious as their wines. Today, I came during brunch and while I didn't get to eat there, I loved how they had a grill outside the restaurant where you can see the food being cooked. It smelled so good! Great local spot for friends and family. I highly recommend.“

“Was able to find street parking on a weekday but had to go around. The atmosphere is really nice here and the high ceilings gave it a very roomy feeling. All the food had very strong flavors and I really enjoyed it. For some it might be overly salty, but to me I think it’s seasoned just right. The only thing I would say is the portions are a bit small. Especially the pork belly dish! There were only a few pieces there but so many leftover veggies. My favorite dish is probably the beef tartare. And the basque cheesecake has a strong aged cheese flavor, not sure if everyone will like it, but I loved it!“

“... The food is incredible, but VERY expensive. We went for Valentine's Day and ordered 2 plates of Oysters, a special Short Rib Wellington for two, and the Spinach Bucatini. We also had two Martinis each. Everything was wonderful and the Spinach Bucatini was truly memorable. The only jolting part was the cost (LOL.) Our bill was over $500 for the two of us and we weren't even that full. Nevertheless, this is the second trip to Otium for us and we'll probably be back.“

One of the best and most affordable places we've found in Los Angeles.Vegetarian options: Impressed with the number of offerings for vegetarians. If you don't eat eggs, just tell them to leave egg off of your meal.Parking: Small parking lot shared with other stores, but there is parking. Street parking is around but not directly in front. Must go to side street.“
