“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“We come here fairly often and the experience is always a familiar one.
Things dont change much but that makes it feel.more comfortable overall. You know what to expect and what you like already.
Ans id you've never been here before its an even more exciting experience to try some of the items for the first time.
Solid choice of appetizers, mains, and desserts with options all across the food spectrum.
The bar situation i hear is also on point.
In any case, its a fun place to hang out with family or friends.“

“One of the BEST burger stands in the LA area. Family-friendly, super interesting people from all over Los Angeles county, great DJ's playing classics of every genre. The classic burger with onions and cheese is amazing, but the mushroom and Swiss comes in at a close second. They even have vegetarian options for the non-meat eaters. It only opens up like once a month though, so you definitely have to follow them on social media and get there when the getting is good!!!“

“Visited Bistro 45 for the first time tonight to celebrate my husband and my 15th anniversary after reading positive reviews. The food and service were exceptional. Every dish was cooked perfection and was super flavorful. The gazpacho was so complex and delicious. The calamari was so tender with the most unctuous spicy tomato ragu. My chicken and my husband’s pasta were both stunning. And the pineapple upside down tart with coconut gelato was unbelievably good. They made a special presentation of our dessert to celebrate our anniversary too. Our waiter was funny and attentive, and the owner made a personal visit to our table at least twice. This was possibly one of the best meals my husband and I have had in years. We cannot wait to return.“

“Stumbled upon this place after googling Cajun food in Pasadena. Looked good so I went in. Food was great. They are not breaking new ground on unexplored culinary territory or anything, it’s southern, but it’s done well, quite well actually. Everything had loads of flavour, the fried chicken was salty and wonderful. The bbq shrimp was pumped up with creole seasoning. The angel biscuit was a nice and fluffy biscuit, pretty good, but I found myself wishing it was as served with some honey butter or some sweet element. Salty honey butter would be great. Oh and great prices on the food too.

The service was fine, friendly, attentive, etc.
the restaurant was very bustling too, I swear everyone in there was yelling, made it quite hard to talk to the people I was in town seeing. But oh well. You can talk after.

“First time here. I ordered the Steak chimichurri sandwich. It was delicious. Had lots of flavor. My kid had their pizza, and we're very happy with it as well. All in all it was good experience for my first time. Will definitely come back and try a different meal.“

“Comfortable and easy to get to, The Mixx has great folks taking care of you - the best bartender in all of SoCal, Carlos, who will mix you any concoction (the drinks menu is quite extensive and Carlos does not disappoint). Owner Ed is always around to make sure you have a great time, too. Food is quite good (sweet potato fries is a personal favorite). And there is always some entertainment going on: comedy wednesdays (free!), tuesday salsa, live music on weekends. It’s a great place to hang and watch the game (we were there for Super Bowl) or just cill and enjoy music and the vibes.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“

“Walked here from a play in Old Pasadena, and we were delighted with the experience. Had a quiet comfortable booth and impeccable cocktails before a fish-based dinner. Special shout outs for the scallops aguachiles, market fish, cioppino (superb!), and brussels sprouts (perhaps the best I've had). It was my first time going to a cloud restaurant.
It's to go only.
I ordered a custom taco ($11.99 base price without meat) with grass fed beef sliders (Additional $6.99)
With tax and tip it was $21.34.
It's the most I ever spent on tacos.
I eat organic to prevent diseases and cancer.
It came with 3 enormous tacos perfectly made.
These were the best tacos I've ever had in my life.
Each grass fed beef piece in every taco was perfectly tender and cooked.“

“We stayed at the Westin Pasadena. We had several deliciomeals at Ventanas. We had Efrain as our server several times- he was so attentive and thoughtful! It was 100 degrees and we chose to eat outside- he checked in with us frequently, kept us well supplied with ice and water“

“We ordered the tomahawk steak, filet mignon, pasta, veggies which were all cooked to perfection. The food was excellent. Also the waiter, recommend the old fashion, and it was the best i ever had. Service was A+. The vibe was like eating in a cozy house. You can't go wrong with this place.“

“I'm a regular here at Der Wolf. The bartender, Ricky, made me a very nice tropical drink that definitely hit the spot. And let's not forget Taco Tuesday - the tacos are amazing, very delicious. I highly recommend. The dungeon is also nice; it's a little bit more intimate.“
