THE SEA BASS, WAS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. MASH POTATO WAS YUMMY. FISH WAS REALLY A GOOD CHOICE...ON THE SOUP IT WAS JUST CLAM CHOWDER SOUP WITH PANCETTA (PORK). WELL I CANNOT EAT THIS PORK SOUP. NO OTHER CHOICES? IT WAS JUST SAD FOR THE SOUP.
The service and attention was excellent. My wife really enjoyed the crab cake eggs benedict. The panini was tasty, but mushrooms on top of any truffle should have been a tip off, just not the extra special you might hope. The crispy potatoes felt like an afterthought. They weren't hot, and lacked seasoning. It came with ketchup, as if they know it doesn't hold up on its own. (I am not a fan of ketchup in general.)
Fantastic wait staff. Good food and drinks. Beautiful old house.
