“Visited Bistro 45 for the first time tonight to celebrate my husband and my 15th anniversary after reading positive reviews. The food and service were exceptional. Every dish was cooked perfection and was super flavorful. The gazpacho was so complex and delicious. The calamari was so tender with the most unctuous spicy tomato ragu. My chicken and my husband’s pasta were both stunning. And the pineapple upside down tart with coconut gelato was unbelievably good. They made a special presentation of our dessert to celebrate our anniversary too. Our waiter was funny and attentive, and the owner made a personal visit to our table at least twice. This was possibly one of the best meals my husband and I have had in years. We cannot wait to return.“

It is delicious 😋 and service/customer service is great. You must try the Lavander Latte, and the Iced Pistachio Rose! They come with a cute and delicious baby crosasaint. And pastries are yummy and not too sweet!
I've had the Avocado Croast and Ham sandwich. Delicious. Point is this place is a nice vibe to read, eat, study and have a lunch date!“

“Stumbled upon this place after googling Cajun food in Pasadena. Looked good so I went in. Food was great. They are not breaking new ground on unexplored culinary territory or anything, it’s southern, but it’s done well, quite well actually. Everything had loads of flavour, the fried chicken was salty and wonderful. The bbq shrimp was pumped up with creole seasoning. The angel biscuit was a nice and fluffy biscuit, pretty good, but I found myself wishing it was as served with some honey butter or some sweet element. Salty honey butter would be great. Oh and great prices on the food too.

The service was fine, friendly, attentive, etc.
the restaurant was very bustling too, I swear everyone in there was yelling, made it quite hard to talk to the people I was in town seeing. But oh well. You can talk after.

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“We loved the fresh vibe and the allergy-friendliness! Due to celiac’s disease, I rarely find a donut shop that I feel safe eating at. For being gluten-free and vegan, the donuts were delightfully moist, delicious and addicting. We will definitely be back one day. My suggestion: A “National Donut Day” promotion next year! 🍩🍩“

“Handel's is an excellent place to get great tasting ice cream. I prefer, however, their Hollywood location over this one in Pasadena. At least in Hollywood, you can taste test. The size of the ice cream scoops were smaller here and merrier than at the Hollywood one we frequent. Overall, still a positive, yummy experience. ✨“

“This was the first time my wife and I had been to this coffee shop. I loved the atmosphere, very quiet and chill. The iced latte was spot on. My wife and I shared an avocado toast which was fantastic, never thought to put cucumber on the toast with a strawberry but it paired well. The toast did take 30 minutes to get to us. I had to go to the to the register and ask about it. I was told that the cook never received the order due to there being no paper in their machine. It happens so no biggie. My only advice would be maybe to have offered a free coffee or some compensation for waiting so long. Overall though, this place was fantastic and I would return!“

“We drive 35 miles at least three times a month to eat here. We love Home State and as a Native Texan, I can attest that their queso is the real deal!!! I just wish they'd open one in Claremont, CA!!! The Don't Mess With Texas is my favorite taco and my husband loves the brisket taco. Everything is amazing though!!!“

We arrived 30 minutes ahead of closing on a Thursday and despite the fact they looked to be clearing up we were welcomed warmly and enjoyed the BEST sandwiches we’ve had! “Connal’s! The burgers are delicious, and the onion rings were crispy and full of flavor. Stick with The Classic Double. But the real standout for me was the zucchini fries — by far the best I’ve had! Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seriously addictive. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. 🍔🧅“

“Found Monta Factory last year. My waistline has suffered ever since. Sarkis just jams out perfection in a dumpling. The dough is crispy the filling is flavorful and the tomato and yogurt are both delicious. The Su Boreg is crispy and flakey and tasty as well.
If you go here, just go ahead and get the large. I got a small once and regretted it. They serve Salmon Sandwiches, but whenever I stop by, I can't force myself not to get the dumplings. They have a vegetarian option too.
Sarkis the owner is very nice and welcoming and knowledgeable about the food. I am not Armenian, but I am definitely a convert to Armenian Dumplings bc of this place!! Treat yourself.
This is a no frills spot that focuses on doing 2 or 3 things perfectly. They have a few little tables outside if you can't wait to get home!
You can also buy frozen and reheat at home.“

“My daughter took her dad here for father's day. It was a great vibe, we sat outdoors, they had tv so he could watch the word cup. The food and drink orders came out in pretty quickly. I had the wings in hot honey bbq, my husband had the meatball sub which came with fries and our daughter had a 10 inch pizza, which took longer but the freshness, flavor, and quality of the meal was there.“

“This is a really neat historic spot, a craftsman home bulit in the 1800's in S. Pasadena repurposed into a restaurant. The vibe is cozy and welcoming. It's like your meeting with friends at someone's home but with professional service, where everyone can just relax and enjoy each other's company. My first visit was with a few girlfriends years ago for their happy hour which runs m-f, from 4-6pm. Since then I've come back for their brunch, and recently dinner. All visits have been memorable and exceptional all around.
They are known for their craft cocktails. My friend had to drink called Latina Medicina and substituted vodka for tequila. It was a citrusy, refreshing drink, beautifuly presented with a large square ice cube, which apparently takes 3 days to make. My husband had the Alien Pool Party cocktail, also refreshing and very fun! We had a lot of laughs with that one. So if you've never been here and are looking for something different, then I recommend you give him a try.“
