“Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks. There is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat. It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station. death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless. coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA. ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.“

“We are so lucky to have this cafe here in Pasadena! I've tried the carbonara, puttanesca, sandwiches, foccacia, and fried zucchini blossom, and it's all been delicious. Their homemade bread is incredible and is the star of their amazing sandwiches. For fellow lovers of bittersweet Italian sodas, they stock chinotto here, as well a couple small bitter sodas! On top of how good the food is, the service is very warm and friendly. You can tell it's a family business run with a lot of love. Can't recommend it highly enough, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying even more of the menu.“

“Looking for a sweet treat to share with your loved ones this Valentine's Day? Look no further than this amazing bakery my sister and I visited! We tried the Red Velvet Cinnamon Roll, Classic Cinnamon, Coffee Cake, Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cornbread Cookies and White Chocolate Macadamia. And let me tell you, they were all absolutely delicious!

My personal favorite has always been the Classic Cinnamon rolls. They're so moist and flavorful, even days later! The red velvet cinnamon rolls were a close second though. The coffee cake was perfect, the cookies were to die for, and our Hot Americano was served fresh and hot.

The only downside was the long wait - we stood in line for an hour on Valentine's Day! But the friendly staff and amazing treats made it worth it. “The place is super cute inside. I came on a Saturday around 11am and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Service was great. Me and my friends just got brunch items, and it was satisfying but nothing memorable. Although, the almond croissant is absolutely to die for and made up for it. Definitely try the pastries here.“

“We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. This pie is perfect from start to finish. It's made with real butter which I can taste. The pecans seem to be just slightly roasted and there's lots of them. I'm so happy with this place. I'm ready to try their other products. We ordered online and everything worked out perfectly. There's a bit of a line out the door but you have to understand why. It's just really really good. “Definitely a pastry lovers’ indulging dream! Line was around the building on a Saturday afternoon, but moved pretty quickly. We were inside eyeing the pastries through the display in about 20 minutes. My favorite was the blueberry cheesecake crumble danish! The cream cheese was not overpowering and all the flavors were well balanced! The earl grey morning bun also a top contender with a strong enough earl grey flavor that was delectably enveloped in the flaky pastry. Cinnamon roll croissant was not too sweet and the center was the best bite! The french onion soup danish was good and tasted even better when warmed up at home. They should offer that option in store because it makes all the difference! Personally, as an almond croissant lover, I found the filling to be a little too sweet and leaned heavily on an almond extract flavor/aroma. All in all, pastries are of quality and I would return for more!“

“Cozy boba shop that’s off the beaten path. Shares a Hong Kong milk tea with my sister here after lunch and ordered it to go. There’s a small amount of seating inside. I liked the creaminess of the drink and the boba was nice and chewy. It seems to be locally owned and I’m all about supporting small businesses. Credit cards are accepted.“
