“Found this gem on Google Maps while searching for some afternoon snacks. A little real Italian osteria run by folks from Italy. Tiramisu was on point, as was truffle suppli (fried risotto croquettes with cheese) that brought back memories of Rome. By the time I got there the pastry case was bare, but I did pick up an Italian sour cherry jam and a bottle of lemon soda, another staple during my trips to Italy. I will return for pasta & pizza. It’s little sweet place that needs to be found by more people!“

“Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks.

There is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat.

It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station.

death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless.

coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA.

ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.“

“I came in because I was craving a ham and cheese croissant with jalapenos. They didn't have one. That didn't stop her! The lovely lady behind the counter said I'll make you one. The small lobby was crowded. The lady that was Manning the counter was all over the place, as quick as can be! She even started speaking some Spanish to one of the gentlemen who was in the lobby! I was not only impressed with their customer service, but just their two-woman operation in general! If I'm ever in that area, I will definitely go back and support!“

Christine is the owner, a very talented graphic/product designer, who creates tasty Gourmet Sandwiches, best Expresso coffee, with fabulous Quiches, her Brioche is very moist and tasty!!! This bakery had been on my human’s LA must-visit list forever and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We waited about 30 mins and the Morning Earl Grey Croissant was worth the wait and WOW… I’m still thinking about it. I’d wag my tail all the way back for another.

This place is dog friendly with a great patio and the humans were so welcoming. They also keep things exciting with rotating specialty croissants and fun collaborations, so there’s always a reason to come back.

We actually tried coming back the following Saturday… but the line literally wrapped around the building! I guess everyone else was craving croissants too.

Safe to say this won’t be my last visit. Now excuse me while I convince my human we need to plan trip number three. 🐾🥐💛“

After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!“

“I always make it a point to go to dots when I'm in town from Seattle, I was bummed to find out that their fair Oaks location closed but delighted to see this one here on Colorado. It's bigger with more food options, café style. The cupcakes of course are still delicious, lots of great options. Beautiful cafe, friendly service.“
