“Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks.

There is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat.

It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station.

death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless.

coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA.

ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.“

“We are so lucky to have this cafe here in Pasadena! I've tried the carbonara, puttanesca, sandwiches, foccacia, and fried zucchini blossom, and it's all been delicious. Their homemade bread is incredible and is the star of their amazing sandwiches. For fellow lovers of bittersweet Italian sodas, they stock chinotto here, as well a couple small bitter sodas! On top of how good the food is, the service is very warm and friendly. You can tell it's a family business run with a lot of love. Can't recommend it highly enough, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying even more of the menu.“

“I came in because I was craving a ham and cheese croissant with jalapenos. They didn't have one. That didn't stop her! The lovely lady behind the counter said I'll make you one. The small lobby was crowded. The lady that was Manning the counter was all over the place, as quick as can be! She even started speaking some Spanish to one of the gentlemen who was in the lobby! I was not only impressed with their customer service, but just their two-woman operation in general! If I'm ever in that area, I will definitely go back and support!“

“Looking for a sweet treat to share with your loved ones this Valentine's Day? Look no further than this amazing bakery my sister and I visited! We tried the Red Velvet Cinnamon Roll, Classic Cinnamon, Coffee Cake, Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cornbread Cookies and White Chocolate Macadamia. And let me tell you, they were all absolutely delicious!

My personal favorite has always been the Classic Cinnamon rolls. They're so moist and flavorful, even days later! The red velvet cinnamon rolls were a close second though. The coffee cake was perfect, the cookies were to die for, and our Hot Americano was served fresh and hot.

The only downside was the long wait - we stood in line for an hour on Valentine's Day! But the friendly staff and amazing treats made it worth it. “I ordered a cake for my engagement party and there was miscommunication and error on my part, they still pulled through the day before Easter and the cake was so beautiful and delightful! The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and very kind to speak to! I got the vintage white cake with chocolate filling!“

“Definitely a pastry lovers’ indulging dream! Line was around the building on a Saturday afternoon, but moved pretty quickly. We were inside eyeing the pastries through the display in about 20 minutes. My favorite was the blueberry cheesecake crumble danish! The cream cheese was not overpowering and all the flavors were well balanced! The earl grey morning bun also a top contender with a strong enough earl grey flavor that was delectably enveloped in the flaky pastry. Cinnamon roll croissant was not too sweet and the center was the best bite! The french onion soup danish was good and tasted even better when warmed up at home. They should offer that option in store because it makes all the difference! Personally, as an almond croissant lover, I found the filling to be a little too sweet and leaned heavily on an almond extract flavor/aroma. All in all, pastries are of quality and I would return for more!“

“Cozy boba shop that’s off the beaten path. Shares a Hong Kong milk tea with my sister here after lunch and ordered it to go. There’s a small amount of seating inside. I liked the creaminess of the drink and the boba was nice and chewy. It seems to be locally owned and I’m all about supporting small businesses. Credit cards are accepted.“

After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly.
