“This was the first time my wife and I had been to this coffee shop. I loved the atmosphere, very quiet and chill. The iced latte was spot on. My wife and I shared an avocado toast which was fantastic, never thought to put cucumber on the toast with a strawberry but it paired well. The toast did take 30 minutes to get to us. I had to go to the to the register and ask about it. I was told that the cook never received the order due to there being no paper in their machine. It happens so no biggie. My only advice would be maybe to have offered a free coffee or some compensation for waiting so long. Overall though, this place was fantastic and I would return!“

“Ginger's Corner Market is an absolute gem in Pasadena! Its incredible location, unique charm, stellar customer service and fire menu to match its definitely a must stop when in town!

It doesn't matter what you select you wont be disappointed! Trust me, I've almost had EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!! The wedge is a delight with caramelized bacon to drool for, or the classic Cobb you can never go wrong with. My personal favorite is the ham n brie sandwich which is an incredible palate pleaser with both sweet and savory in one!

I discovered Jones in the early 2000’s during business trips to Pasadena. Through the years it became a must have visit, even during family trips. Leading the way is Rafael. He’s calm and welcoming and his presence is felt every where. In fact, during a 2021 visit he spotted my family and me, came over to greet us, and fondly recalled my children who he hadn’t seen in close to 8 years. It’s that type of personal attention , and good product, that has kept me coming back. Enjoy!“

“Great spot! My mom is celiac and it’s rare (like never happens!) that she can find a gf donut. This spot is dedicated gluten free and she was soooo stoked to visit Hello Yr Welcome twice during her recent visit to LA. We got 3 donuts her first time in and 1/2 dozen the second (bc she loved them so much). They were all very flavorful and delicious!

Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Oh and the coffee is great. I got some delicious espresso / good flavor and not bitter - they know how to pull a shot ☕

Also worth noting that all the breakfast sandos and other items look delicious as well! But we were just focused on my moms rare opportunity to enjoy a donut

Worth getting here early as they do tend to sell out of some flavors by afternoon. We found there’s plenty of street parking in the surrounding area, even on the weekends.

“I waver between giving this cafe a 4 or 5 stars. I got the matcha latte and it was quite good - the flavor is strong albeit tempered by the pronounced taste of the oat milk. The WiFi didn’t work and it was quite busy with very strong AC.“

“I first discovered Erva Yerba Mate at music festivals and food truck events around Los Angeles, and I was immediately hooked. Their yerba mate drinks are incredibly refreshing—fruity, ice-cold, and genuinely satisfying. What really stood out to me was how I felt afterward: a clean, feel-good energy from the caffeine with no jitters or crash. It’s honestly better tasting and more balanced than coffee - which I'm not a regular drinker of.

I was so impressed that I started going directly to the store to fill my growler and ended up buying bottled yerba mate for myself and friends. Every time I go in, the staff is warm, friendly, and happy to chat. I usually ask whoever’s working to make me their favorite blend, and it’s always fantastic. Consistently cold, crisp, and refreshing. That's why I've enjoyed trying so many flavors!

A friend of mine said he ended up buying a growler from them at the Atwater farmers market on Sundays. He's also hooked!

Parking is easy, which is rare in LA, and I love that it’s right around the corner from the ReStore—perfect excuse to hunt for good deals after grabbing a drink. The owners, Tiffany and Juan, are genuinely kind, welcoming people, and it shows in how the place is run.

I've brought bottles to parties and events for people who don't want an adult beverage and people were SO APPRECIATIVE!

I really hope they expand their food options soon—I love the empanadas and the sauces and would happily eat more there. This place is a gem and a regular stop for me now.

“I stopped by Yin Yang Tea today for a Spam Wrap, and as always, it was delicious! Their teas are amazing, and the boba is always fresh—hands down some of the best around.

I also want to give a special shoutout to the owner. I see her almost every morning with her two little babies, and I truly admire her dedication and work ethic. Running a business is challenging on its own, and doing it while caring for two young children is incredible. She always greets customers with kindness and keeps the quality of her drinks and food consistent.

It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good,and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“They were cool with me on my laptop and I loved the 90’s radio butt rock playlist, its a nice way to escape reality, since most coffee shops these days have an ultra modern / chic vibe which gets boring after a while.

“I am a fan favorite of Lee’s especially the banh mi and iced coffee. When I moved back to Cali I was excited to see how many Lee’s there are through expansion. However I have been disappointed with ALL of them except for the one in Pasadena. Always great service, the bread is always soft with great texture (not stale), plenty of meat. Other Lee’s give and embarrassing amount of meat. Lee’ Pasadena I will always drive extra to come see you.“

Their iced Chai tased mostly like cinnamon water.
Their almond croissant was decent.
All that with tip was $60 for breakfast.
I can think of MANY places where I could have had better breakfast food for that price.
Waitress and hostesses were on point with great service, so at least there’s that.“

“I absolutely love French pastries like canelés and madeleines, and I always make it a point to try them wherever I go. BU Pastry Bar is definitely one of the best I've ever had!
Their canelés have the perfect texture—crispy, caramelized on the outside and soft, custardy on the inside. The madeleines come in a wide variety of unique and creative flavors, and every one I've tried has been delicious. They also offer beautiful party assortments, making them perfect for gatherings or celebrations.“
