“Such a cute coffee/stationery shop. I had the matcha latte with oatmilk and lightly sweetened and it was good but next time i'm getting regularly sweetened. I usually have to ask for lightly sweetened wherever I go and this time when I did, it could've used a bit more sweetener which is a good thing. This way I know they do not use too much sweetener in their drinks. The lady that ran the stationery station was so nice and helpful and she answered any questions about the pens she recommends and the paper quality of the notebooks. You can try the pens and how they write as they have a sample for each and paper to try them and I bought two pens as I love to collect pens.As far as parking, there's plenty of street parking, but I walked here from the nearby LA Historic State Park. It was nice taking a stroll through chinatown with my matcha latte and then I went back to the park to go for a walk. I would come back to this shop and try the other espresso drinks.“
“The matcha is insaneeee!!! They use a ceremonial grade matcha so it's not fishy. Raw milk is an option and it's a game changer it tastes so good. The cafe is really cute and bright inside there's like a couple chairs to sit and study. The workers are all such dolls. So sweet and kind. My favorite cafe. any chance I get to come here I take it. Based on her recommendations, we tried the Special Coffee Flight with Oatmilk, Americano, Pastor Omelette, Chilaquiles Verdes with Chicken, and Nutella French Toast.We will start with the Special Coffee Flight which consisted of 4 sweet drinks: Mazapán iced coffee, Horchata iced coffee, Pistachio iced coffee and Abuelita iced coffee. The Mazapán iced coffee was a little textured for me since it had chunks of Mazapán in it and I wasn’t a fan. The Horchata iced coffee was satisfying & I loved it. It was the right amount of bittersweet. The Pistachio iced coffee was way too sweet & had only a touch of pistachio. The Abuelita iced coffee was on the bitter side since it tasted like straight cocoa. Americano was a simple brew.Pastor Omelette was delicious and super filling. It was packed with meat & had the right red salsa to compliment it. Chilaquiles Verdes were also delicious but not spicy. You definitely need to order more salsa on the side if you want them on the wet side however the chicken was a perfect addition. Nutella French Toast was top tier!! It was the star of the show although it was sweet.. the fried plantains took it to another level. It was packed so I didn't look at everything they had, but they had plenty of good looking sweet stuff to ruin your Hollywood diet. I just grabbed snacks to take on my travels. I snagged a bag of melon pan and it looks and taste just like anime told me it would. Also got a couple steamed buns, sadly they were sold out of anko, but I got pork and curry. “a nice, refreshing place to get your ice tea fix! chun yang is located in a small plaza with a parking lot. i came on a thursday afternoon and there weren't many spots available. there is street parking nearby if you can't get a spot in the plaza. i got the honey osmanthus oolong tea, their #1 popular drink. i appreciated the server, who was very knowledgeable about the drinks and their sweetness levels. i got my drink at 50% sweetness, and it was still super sweet, so 25% is probably best if you don't like your drink tasting like sugar syrup. the tea, however, was the best part since it was strong and refreshing! this is a small shop, so don't expect any tables to hang out in here. there is a bench to sit and wait for your order, but that's all for seating. there is a public restroom for customers. overall, great place for a refreshing and strong tea drink. the quality of the tea was great, and it is perfect for a hot day.“

Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. “Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side. I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good. Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy. All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!“
“I have enjoyed Emmi's twice now for breakfast and lunch. Miy breakfast experience was excellent and I wanted to try lunch. My favorite burger is from In-N-Out. If you do like them you really must try Emmi's Smash Burger. Two thin patties, so the edges are crispy, and their special sauce on an excellent bun. Try not to go when it is busy as it slows done their service. Their staff is great, friendly, and attentive. While I miss the den ambiance of Bean Town, this is a bright, no-nonsense open dining space. I will be going back.“

“Tilt Coffee Bar is a hidden gem in DTLA. They have a very cute patio in the middle of an apartment building. There's even a separate building for roasting their beans! “Red car is a nice little coffee shop that conveniently located at the Huntington library (right by the entrance). They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Except drinks and pastries, I'm glad that they also sell Fosselman's ice cream, sandwiches, yoghurt parfait, fruits and snacks in the store. They opens early at 8am, and drinks and food are allowed to bring into the Huntington library.“
