I really enjoy freshly brewed milk tea (freshly brewed after order is placed) compared to milk tea prepared with tea that was brewed well in advance, had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long, and used only after the order is placed. I definitely recommend to try their boba tea.“

“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

“This place and never went in until a couple days ago and I got the rancheros sunny side up. The flavors were really good. I thought it was a little bit too white sauce the tortillas all the flavor was delicious. The staff was exceptionally attentive and I was just taking out. They gave me a lot of attention, which is pretty nice. Don’t see that anymore. We got a cup of coffee, which is really good and took it home far away for breakfastmaybe share with your friends.“

“I'm a teaspresso milk tea enjoyer and this is one of the best milk tea places I've ever been to. The popcorn milk tea is uniquely buttery without compromising the tea flavor or the balance of the drink. The koan-im oolong milk tea is similar to Chicha's drinks in style but is richer and smoother while being less astringent. 10/10, would absolutely come again.“

“Villa's Tacos were amazing! and I'm not saying this just because of the hype of the Super Bowl. I'm saying this because I mean it. The tacos were just amazing to me. Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

I got the lemon cake and two of the sprinkle cookies to bring home to me and my family. The bread options are amazing for gluten-free as well. I ended up getting their chorizo and egg for breakfast. Absolutely amazing food. On the side I got tater tots, they were crunchy and very tasty. Not greasy, which is hard to do when you fry something. We sat in the back where the wine area is because it was really hot that day so the ambience in that little area was very quirky and eclectic. “I dined at this Luna Grill location this past Saturday, July 18th with a old friend of mine after a hike near JPL. Even though two days have passed, I notice that I really enjoyed the food and wished this location was closer to me because I am already craving it again! The food, and the quality in which it was cooked, was absolutely delicious. From the tender and juicy pieces of chicken that was coming off the skewer, to the good ole pita bread, humus, and refreshing salad as my sides, everything was great! A young man working at the location, Dylan, was the one who took our order and even brought it out to us. He was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in, as well as displaying true authentic patient with me when it came to figuring out what I wanted to order. Dylan demonstrated his knowledge of the menu, personally describing each item and giving me his personal recommendations. While I played it safe and ordered something based off my cravings, I still appreciated his guidance and frequent check-ins while we were eating. All and all, big shout out to the LA Canada 21 location, and Dylan, for the pleasant dining experience that day! We'll certainly be back again soon.“

The cleaning staff is always quick to clear tables and manage trash and dishes. Even at its busiest there is usually plenty of parking.“

“A cozy private owned boba shop with a variety of drink options. Tried Haicha High Mountain tea (cold) and Haicha milk tea with boba (cold). Both tea tastes flagrant and sweet even though there was no sugar added! The shop owner is very friendly. He doesn’t push for you to try anything additional. I saw the sesame snack and had to ask and buy some. Not too sweet! Would definitely come back to get the same drinks and more.“
