“I liked this cute coffee shop because it’s so calm and serene “mountain living” type of feel in the forest tundra type of California living place…feels wonderful to sit down in the outdoor sitting with the solid color awning umbrellas and the “basket woven material” chairs that remind me of Paris coffee shops. Parking was so pleasantly available and there wasn’t much city fuss, no crazy noise, no people trying to push their agendas just coffee, food, birds and cutesie mountain living….sigh“

“A lifetime of eating Mexican food, living in Mexico and speaking Spanish fluently couldn't have prepared me for the culinary whirlwind that I experienced last night at Damian. Accompanying friends who have been long time patrons of Damian served as personal tour guides through the labyrinth of menu selections that culminated in one of the most memorable meals I have ever had as a native Angelino. What makes Damian so remarkable is the layers of flavors that appear in every dish and the surprising combinations of ingredients that while seemingly so disparate, create a fusion of flavors that one wouldn't think possible in one cuisine. The service is impeccable and the environment relaxing, intimate and simply world class.“

My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. The fresh house made corn tortillas also really take the tacos to the next level. We really enjoyed our meal here. “My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere. However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“

“Woah, such a cool place! Super awesome that it is dog friendly, has great food, alcohol, wifi, and a bunch of outlets around the area if you want to do some work. I came here with my bf and we stumbled upon this place by chance because all of the other coffee shops were packed with people and so we ended up just walking around. We just walked up to the parking area and asked the guard if there were any coffee shops nearby with wifi and outlets. It just so happened, he pointed at this bike shed behind him and said he thinks this place has all the things we were looking for. We were skeptical because there were just a bunch of motorcycles behind him so we were confused. We decided to check it out anyway and this place has easily become such a hole in the wall, great find! Service is amazing and they made us feel like it was home. Food was so good! We got the margarita pizza, the zucchini fries, and a beer. I would 10/10 order everything again plus more if we had the chance to come back. Lots of dogs coming in and out with their owners, so I was very happy about that! My pup, Benny, loves this place and I bet he would love to come back as well.“

“Food quality-wise, i can tell how this reataurant has been surviving for really a long time. Since my little sons cannot eat spicy food, I tried to find non-spicy food and ordered. Lamb skew: i am picky with lamb and this dish was really good. No strong smell, not too chewy, properly seasoned. Kungpao chicken: not spicy version i think. Sauce flavor is just properly sweet, chicken is tender, nuts are also properly cooked. Radish and beef soup: this would be very healthy. Ox tail might be cooked inside for a long time(asian way) and i can taste the deep flavor. Potato slice dish(forgot the name): although it was not my sons' favorite, i think it is tasty enough. “One of the best ice cream I have ever had. Such a bummer that they are only open 3 days a week for 4 hours a day. I came on a Sunday night and the line was consistently out the door. The asian inspired flavors are so unique. Their black sugar vanilla flavor was too die for and was the favorite among my friends“

“Really good acai bowls, lots of bases and toppings to choose from. The mango base is my personal favorite and with half acai. Good for being a place with pre made bases as usually i like to go to places where they freshly blend the bases. Very tasty and load up the toppings.“

“Our second time dining here, this time we brought friends. It was perfect and food, service was awesome. However I was a bit disappointed by the lobster pot pie.... It was not what I was expecting, lobster was cold and just didn't taste right. Other than that, great place to fine“

“The church-turned-restaurant has a clear sky above, creating a lazy and comfortable environment. The service staff kindly introduced the menu of the day. California cuisine is a fusion of Asian and Western food characteristics. The complimentary bread is very similar to Asian double cheese bread, and the cheese taste is very fragrant. Strawberries & burrata cheese is like a variation of the classic Italian mozzarella cheese and tomato salad. It is quite beautiful and delicious. The Day Boat Scallops have a crispy topping and a tender center. It has a rich texture and is paired with spiced pumpkin puree, caramelized carrots and vegetables. , gooseberry, with diverse and harmonious flavors. Next time I’m in Los Angeles, I want to try other interesting meals!“

“Our morning ritual used to involve bludgeoning ourselves into a semblance of consciousness with the heavy-hand of a generic dark roast. It was an effective if inelegant solution to parenthood. Aqaurela's beans provide a different experience. We are by no means coffee experts, but my wife and I were surprised by the nuances in smell and taste when we tried their Deus Me Livre for our morning espresso. It's a lighter feel; almost refreshing. The morning cup feels a bit indulgent, yet not so rich as to make your mouth feel overwhelmed. We could see this pairing very well as an after-dinner treat with any manner of desserts. The best part is that this is simply a fantastic company to work with. Quick, fast delivery. Prompt follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. And all questions answered - when we noted that we typically prefer darker roasts, one of the owners explained that their goal was to make a medium-roast whose flavors would still hold up to a coordination with cream and sugar. It's a throwback to days where customer service and the personal touch were still important. This is a small business whose goal of promoting independent farmers is admirable and worthy of our support. Thank you!“

“The sandwich’s are amazing with a great portion size. I highly recommend getting the lemonade it’s nice and fresh it doesn’t taste like that fake lemonade other places have. The old lady (I forgot her name) she had an amazing service and jokes. This is my opinion and it might sound stupid but she makes you feel like you’re a regular even if you don’t go often. 10/10“
