There was only a little bit of miscommunication with customizing a drink and they make you do the review before they give you the drink so other than that I will definitely come back.“

We didn’t meet for a while after leaving the job. One day we met by chance on the road, and my aunt still remembered me!After chatting for a while and saying goodbye, she said that she wanted to treat her to a meal next time she went to a restaurant. I didn't take it to heart. Until a few days ago, I drove by and wanted to eat their bowl of noodles. When I walked in, she was talking on the phone to take orders. When she saw my eyes widened, she asked me to sit down. Not long after, my dry noodles were served. Plus a red oil snack as a treat.This bowl of noodles is quite special. It is neither fried noodles nor sesame noodles, but fried sesame noodles mixed with two sauces. The menu is called "Strange Flavor Noodles". The taste is quite rich. When eating, you should mix it with raw cucumber. The noodles, sauce and refreshing cucumber naturally form a delicious balance that makes you want to take another bite.Maybe it's so strange. After eating it for the first time, I ordered this bowl of noodles from the store every time I came back. Several times when I walked into the store, my aunt yelled at the kitchen, knowing that this was what I ordered.While eating noodles, we talked about many things, including the decline of the newspaper office, and many people left! There are all new faces now, and the lively scenes before are no longer there. I smiled and said, many old employees should come back to see you, right? She laughed and said that it was true. “Really good spot for takeout pho. The broth was super flavorful and still hot when I got home, which I really appreciated. Everything was packed neatly and the portions were actually pretty generous for the price.

I got the pho to-go and the ingredients all tasted fresh, especially the herbs and bean sprouts. Service was quick and easy too. Definitely one of those places I’d come back to whenever I want something warm and comforting after a long day 🍜“

“Shrinkflation is real, haven't been here since 2019, but they're still quite tasty. Cash only, prices aren't as high as expected. You don't really need to talk to them if you prefer that, just fill in what you want on their menu and pay. Familiar HK fare but quite delicious“

“In Los Angeles, there’s a restaurant called Jin Hai that specializes in authentic Tianjin cuisine. They have just about everything on the menu.

I highly recommend their pork and green onion buns—8 for $12, which is an incredibly generous price, probably a world record for value. Each bun is about twice the size of the ones you’d typically find in Tianjin. Absolutely amazing!“

“Pastry was dry, but the curry filling was yummy with a touch of spicy. Fan Tuan (purple rice) was amazing, total hit with the husband and kiddos. My husband doesn't care for pickled veggies, but he stated it actually works really well in the roll with all the other ingredients. My kids call it Chinese kimbap and it was an amazing, easy, quick and clean lunch for the kiddos at the airport. Definitely coming back to try other items on their menu. Front lady was nice and made funny jokes and smart remarks. Lol“

“This place got some new drinks. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their new choco strawberry frosty and strawberry Hokkaido milk tea to try. The frosty had an icy, rich, deeply chocolatey base with a creamy, tangy, cheesey strawberry foam. Legit a desert drink. My fave was definitely the strawberry Hokkaido milk tea tho. Very floral, milky, and sweet, with plenty of jiggly strawberry jellies. Overall these were lowkey pretty good.

“I come here a lot during my down time from work. My go to is the Mango-Pomelo sago, and Ive had it so many times, I lost count. I have tried other drinks in their massive selection, but that would be what I most likely choose.

One thing I do have to say is that I wish the AC worked a bit better. I did write this in the summer, so its likely that the day temperature may not be the same by the time its ready.“

“I tried Einstein Bros for the first time and it’s become my absolute favorite 🤩
I love the avocado, egg and tomato or the bacon avocado. It’s delicious. The hash browns are good too. But alittle small. Coffee could be a bit warmer. But overall I love this place and I think it’s been a great addition to Monterey park. Wish they’d open in the evenings. 😇“

“My family and I frequent here quite often and every single time, the drinks were on point! Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. Their customer service is also great! Always a pleasant experience for us. We've "cheated" and have gone to other boba places when traveling but it's not the same. Twisteas definitely has our loyalty!“

“This place is open from morning until 4 PM. The soondubu (soft tofu stew) is freshly made every day, so it’s always very fresh. They also offer soy milk made from ground soybeans, available in both sweetened and unsweetened versions. However, it takes quite a long time after ordering for the food to arrive. “Just discovered this place in Monterey Park.
Really clean and minimalist interior.
They were playing great music at just the right volume, not so loud that you can't have a conversation.
(Jazz, Amy Winehouse, etc.) There were a few people there studying.
A great selection of specialty coffee drinks, also offers oat and almond milk as alternatives. They had a fantastic variety of pastries (some Asian inspired) and breakfast items.
I couldn't resist their Black Sesame/Mochi cookie and Hojicha cheesecake.
The staff is down to earth and approachable.
Can't wait to try them again!“

“This restaurant has good foods at reasonable prices. They have many choices on the menu. They serve big portions of foods. We ordered broccoli beef and walnut shrimps which come with a big bowl of pork meat/bones with vegetables soup and a big bowl of steam rice for daily lunch specials.
Waitresses also gave us attentive services.
We will come back for good foods and good services.“

“Went yesterday (weekend) the wait was fine. Placed an order on the machine and got the order in 5-10 minutes. The original milk tea is divine. Maybe they were unprepared when they first opened looking at other reviews but it’s fine now in my opinion.“

“It was my first time here and I regret not getting the name of my server. Most importantly, I am so glad this place is open late!!! Going back to my server; she greeted me right away, noticed it was my first time, and literally WALKED me through how to order. She was attentive, checked on me frequently, asked if I had rewards to use, and offered me ice cream when I asked for the check. I think she did a great job with all the touch points in making it a memorable and pleasant first time eating here. I am excited to come back and bring my children. “The hotdogs ? here are really good. I enjoyed it. I rarely come here. I rarely eat hotdogs, and they do taste good.

“I work across the street so i often go to canes during my lunch break, this canes always has very fast service and quality sweet tea which is my favorite. I'd like to point out that Mariah at the front is always very quick and kind as well as listen to my personal request for my meals. Shannon who i believe is in a managerial position is also always so kind and greets everyone with a smile. They both help with the atmosphere of eating at canes. Great crew overall definitely worth coming by and if there is anything ever wrong with your meal just let them know they will HELP!“

“So yummy! A taste of home after a trip. One of the few places open after 9 pm! Got my favorite, the braised lamb with sliced noodles. Flavors are so deep and distinct and the noodles are the perfect texture along with the pop of the peppers and potatoes. We also got the dumplings and chili wontons. Both were filled generously as was the chives and egg pancake. Beef and tendon noodles were good too. The appetizers selection seemed to have grown since we were there last, which was a while ago. Service was what one would expect. Order by QR code and food gets delivered. No one really came by otherwise, so pretty surprising when tip starts at 15%. Place is clean and has cute murals on the wall to create a nice ambiance.“
