“It was my first time at Chubby, and I must say the experience was amazing food was just what we expected there was alot of choice and even 1 30 min doesn't seem like alot of time there waiters a super fast so no time wasted just make sure your friends aren't broke because it's pricey”
“Great rolls. Big selection.... fresh.”
“Interior very cute, prices reasonable. I love the food options. They have something for everyone. My favorite was the intestines and beef belly. Everything was flavorful and there was a cup of chili flakes if you want more spice. I would go again. There are several check in offers as well.”
“Hello boss
We are Sichuan Conwee Food Co., Ltd. (specializing in hot pot seasonings, with export certifications from FDA and HACCP)
Factory direct sales, delicious and cheap. If you are interested you can contact me”
“Great Dim Sum spot for classic dim sum food and not too long on wait for a table.”
Restaurants by Cuisine
“Great place for good burgers and beers. I ordered the BKB Burger with fries and it was so good. They cook the burger to your desired temp which is a nice touch. Service was great! Lots of options for beers and wines. Loved the outdoor patio with lots of shade.”
“Best sushi in LA! Everything melted in your mouth! The fish is fresh, the price is affordable, and the service is great! It looks like a hole in the wall - but wow :)) We eat there once a week and love it! Drove all the way from Studio City to have dinner there - 2 hours each way in traffic - so that's obviously what it says :)) Haha Just love it!”
“This place is cheap and perfect for people who love hot pot toppings and dipping sauces. The broth was $14, and you get to choose two different types. The dipping sauce is $1.90 (self-service), and it’s 40 cents per stick for the toppings. They also offer colored trays with various options, including meat and veggies, at different prices.
To be honest, the meat isn’t the best quality, but personally, I’m more into dipping my toppings in the sauce. Their broth, though, was insanely good!
Here are my bills, if I didn't get so much tray that I won't finished it at all, the price would be so cheap!!!”
Restaurants with Delivery
“Very humble place, it's small and you shouldn't expect a extravagant presentation. But the food here is chef's kiss. Got the goat curry, chicken with this really nicely seasoned rice and a coconut soup dish. Really enjoyed my time and the flavors here.”
“Glad to discover another nice Taiwanese restaurant around LA. Very hospital staff. The beef noodle soup is certainly their specialty - unique thick al dente noodles, very tender tendons (chunks of beef not so much), interesting broth with herbal accents. Impressed by their shrimp & pork dumplings - the pork portion was probably fulfilled by the filing of XLB on the menu, which made the dumplings very pleasantly juicy; just wished the wrapper were thinner. In all, don’t expect anything extraordinary, but great value and certainly above peers.”
“The attention and service is Excellent, the food is very delicious, especially the pizzas, all their workers treated us very well, especially Gil and Lorena. We will definitely return. Thank you so much.”

“The Newark location has great atmosphere, very friendly people, and boba always taste great! The Dirty Boba is fire....LITERALLY!!!”

“we took the drive frm Simi valley and let me say we'll worth the drive. try the beef stew noodle. oooo man finger linking good.”
“Great Dim Sum spot for classic dim sum food and not too long on wait for a table.”
“The rice noodle rolls, available in various combinations, are a highlight. Adding an egg enhances the flavor by mixing with the toppings, while the noodles’ ribbon-like texture holds the sweet soy sauce well. Service is good.”
“I wasn't sure I was in the right place at first...one bite into that pie, I knew I'd be back. Full of flavor. My brain was like finally an asian pupusa...lol...so many different combinations...worth a try and second bite.”
“Visited here 2 weeks ago.. the vibe is awesome. The location is tiny but a great use of space and great energy. Shout out to Cindy she is a rockstar! I think Monday nights with Mindy are the best kept secret at this place. Thanks for bringing joy and care into the world through painting (and Boba)... See you soon!”
“They have the best pizza and the environment feel like your at home.”
“Amazing joint To eat celebrate enjoy company”

Outdoor Dining
“Brings me back to Taiwan every time. Great food and exceptionally friendly service, especially from the lady who works the front!
I always order the fantuans (Taiwanese rice breakfast burritos), radish cakes (add the egg!!!), and soy milks for friends and family whenever they visit.”
“Great place for good burgers and beers. I ordered the BKB Burger with fries and it was so good. They cook the burger to your desired temp which is a nice touch. Service was great! Lots of options for beers and wines. Loved the outdoor patio with lots of shade.”
“This place is amazing! The owner was extremely friendly and the food was some of the best I’ve had when it comes to breakfast burritos/quesadillas. I’m from riverside but I will definitely be making the drive back!”

“The food and services are excellent. We eat here every time we visit!”
“A cozy restaurant offering a variety of cuisines. Everything was prepared with care, and the food was delicious and had a homemade feel. The waitress was exceptionally kind, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this place!"”
“We came here for a late night snack after being at the nearby arcade. We got the churro and ice cream with some chocolate syrup. Deeeelicious. We also got a sandwich i never had before. It was interesting. I liked it. They have a area you can take pictures, that was cool. Its a small shop on the corner of the plaza. The churro went perfect with the ice cream. Yom yom yom yom… the sound of a good shnack?. See more on my ig, jwardhooper22”
“I love the eel sticky rice!! We had 15 people and booked one of their private rooms. Menu is large so there’s something for everyone! They have stellar service, so we will definitely be back!”
“Ok so came here for the first time and had the famous pastrami dip and the chili cheese fries, at first I thought the Chili Cheese fries were a bit to expensive at $10usd but holy cow! The portion is huge, that’s enough for four or five people to side with their sandwiches and although as you can see in the photo they have a tremendous look they were a bit too bland, you can see how they’re bringing the fries fresh out of the frier in front of you but I’m not sure if they add salt to them cause they sure didn’t taste salty at all and the chili was more like a homemade canned chili, the sandwich was ok, good portion, nice taste of the Au Jus but I wish the bread was toasted or at least steamed since I didn’t finished it because I was full I took half of the sandwich home and a few hours later I put it on the microwave for 30 seconds and surprise! It was much better! Haha anyways, this is a good spot for classic old school LA Pastrami food but I don’t think it would be my first choice for eating out”
“I saw this spot had great reviews and I was craving wings. A chicken wing or boneless wing restaurant.
I had their bim bim bap and it was delicious. I opted for the boneless soy garlic and lemon pepper. They were both cooked perfectly and the flavor was on point. So good I didn’t need much sauce. Overall a solid lunch.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.”
“First time eating here. I had the lunch special. Chicken and mushroom sweet and sour soup, shrimp fried rice, chicken wontons, and black sticky rice dessert. The food is amazing. I'll be back, thank you!”

“honestly, a pretty sold place if you want some good family style cafe food. this location doesn't have all the individualized food - more shared.
they do have dimsum options as well but the pricing for them are a bit high in my opinion and are okay
we ordered the salty egg custard bun - which was one of my personal favorite bc you can't get it elsewhere but after one i was kinda sick of it b/c it was a real specific flavor
the XLB were not the greatest and kin of small of an amount for the price
the crispy noodle w/ bbq pork was delicious, would get again.
i'd come back for lunch - and they have refillable HK milk tea, lemon tea, etc. (not soda tho, it comes in a can)
they have shared parking with the plaza, and easy to find parking, the seating is shared if you have less than a group of people, we ended up sharing with another party of 2 bc we had only 2 in our party (was slightly awkward lol)”
“Mariela was really nice she was super friendly and we loved her service towards me and my spouse. We even had a surprise anniversary cake! We couldn’t ask for a better Waiter other than her truly made our expirience so much better!”
“Spicy beef noodle soup broth was really good!! Our kinda new favorite Chinese Restaurant (Hunan cuisine) in the MPK area. All the dishes were decent and super flavorful but not overly in any wrong way. Quality flavor.
Cauliflower dish, and the Intestine tofu dish are spicy! For those who like spicy (medium spicy lovers), it's good. But for mild to medium spicy eaters, it was barely doable but with tears and sinus changes. They said to ask them for light mild spicy (translate as small spicy) because maybe the app doesn't allow that choice? Note to self to order small flame/mild spicy next time for my sake.
Spicy beef noodle soup wasn't too spicy. Super great broth! Loved it!! Didn't feel too salty. It was packed with flavor. I would recommend this for anyone craving noodle soup. If you take this to go and leave it overnight, remember to separate the noodles and soup, or else the noodles will soak up all the soup...and leave you soupless haha Its a rare occasion we order beef night soup or carb items but was craving a Chinese noodle soup dish.
Pumpkin Pie dessert was like an air puff with thin flat mochi in the middle. They said no dairy is used but not not too certain if I trust that too much.
Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!!”
“It's hard to find vegetarian/vegan Chinese food options, so this place has become a staple for me. We usually get the deep fried sesame chicken, pineapple fried rice, and some type of vegetable. They are all delicious and filling, we always have left overs! I drive from Torrance just to come here.”
“S [must try / 一定要吃到]
- not a restaurant anymore!!!! you come here to buy shabu shabu meat (best in town)
- you can request fatty or lean for your beef
- I appreciate how they will put ice for you if you live far away
- speak Mandarin and English
- insanely good quality meat with huge tray (highly recommend the 3 lb as its good for party of 4+)
- meat prices changed a lot throughout the year (last time I went it was 30$ for 3 LB beef in 2024 Oct)
TLDR: BUY HOT POT BEEF SLICES HERE. HIGH CP VALUE. VERY WORTH. ORDER 3 LB AND THANK ME LATER.”
“I would go to Mandarin Deli down on Atlantic about 3 min away for better quality food. We got the lamb with mushrooms, lamb was cut very thin and lots of connective tissue so still hard to chew. The sweet and sour pork was cut thin as well and very tough to chew. The XLBs are considerably smaller than Mandarin Deli, but they were juicy as they’re supposed to be. Spicy dumplings were acceptable but too little filling compared to dough. The only thing that was good was the beef wraps. Plenty of beef inside but again, Mandarin Deli is much better value and quality. Mama Lu is just too commercialized and I will NEVER order from here again. I just give 5 stars cause support Asian businesses.”
“I picked up 5 different skewers, cucumber salad and white rice and all was super delicious. I can see where ordering over phone will be a problem if you don’t speak Chinese. Food is bomb though and plan to go back soon.”
“pineapple bun curry fish balls pork fried rice honey ribs Great food, prices, and service.”
“Great dim sum for a great price. The Baked Salty Egg Yolk Bun 菠蘿流沙包 is to die for. I would go back just for those. Love that they have the cart service. The food is fresh, hot, tasty and on demand.”
“The best skewers ever. We drove seven or eight hours from Northern California to eat. The ingredients are fresh and taste great. There is a man who looks like the boss and is very nice. We were served quickly knowing we were hungry. Thank you for the delicious food. See you next month.”
“Here is the authentic northern Malatang! The taste is very good! my favourite! Passion Fruit Smoothie! Liangpi is handmade and tastes sweet and sour. It is a delicacy in summer! Malatang is also a must, there is only spicy and spicy taste! National Day, Close one hour in advance, watch the fireworks! New Northeast cold noodles, fried noodles. Delicious!”
“Listening to the chef's accent, he really is a Hunan chef. I ordered the eggplant with egg and pepper and spicy pork belly with rice. The dishes were enough. The two of us took them home and had another meal. Freshly fried and delicious.”
“This place has a giant menu, but the portions are so big that I would probably be conservative with orders. Staff speaks Cantonese - they generally move quick and efficiently so don't mistaken interactions for being rude”
“Food is very well prepared. Tasty and definitely quality tofu soup. Service is friendly and very attentive.
Atmosphere is normal restaurant nothing special but nothing abnormal.
Their portions are average. For me, ive had tofu from some of their other competition that was more memorable and heftier in portions.
Overall 3.9/5
Quality 4/5
Taste 4.5/5
Cleanliness 3.9/5
Service 4/5”

“Wheelchair accessibility: My husband is in a schooter. No one help him to open doors. He is a disabled vet. They should have a button to open the door. The door are very heavy. I will complain to the person in charge of handicapped rules and regulations.”
“Mariela was really nice she was super friendly and we loved her service towards me and my spouse. We even had a surprise anniversary cake! We couldn’t ask for a better Waiter other than her truly made our expirience so much better!”
“Was looking for a place that serves Chinese cumin lamb skewers. Apparently, when we looked on the list suggested on Yelp, my boyfriend immediately chose this one since it is known in China. He was craving more skewers after the ones we got from the 626 Night Market the previous weekend. It wasn't the same vendor at the Night Market but was still pretty good. It wasn't too overly spiced, and you can cater to your liking on how spicy or whether you want it more dry or not. Extra condiments on the table if you want to add more spices.
It was kind of hard to find as it is located on a small boulevard and small stores. It barely has any street lights at night, and it's tucked all the way in the back corner of the little complex. You'll notice where they are since it is the only place that has a bright Christmas tree right in front of the store, and Christmas lights lit up all around to grab your attention. Since this is mainly a late night experience, you can use all the parking space in the complex to wait in your car while waiting for your turn.
It's better if you speak Chinese when you go there. They do speak English. We came around 8.30 pm on a Friday night and waited about 40 minutes for two people. It was a good timing as it seems more people come here later in the evening and great for groups. I would suggest just order to-go ahead of time, pick it up, and enjoy at home.
The place is very limited seating (max 35), lots of images/videos projected all along the walls. The chairs and seating are minimal decor, like you're seating at an outside bar vendor. It's nice that the place cooks the skewers outside where you're not covered in smoke. They will place the skewers as they're done cooking and place it on the main platter. At the time, it was $6.99 for 4 skewers.
Place is definitely a fun experience, a bit trendy for the younger crowd. Probably not a place for family with children though.”
“I have only ordered here via uber eats and can only speak on 2 items I have ordered 3 seperate times.
The spam & egg rice also the bulgogi fries.
The two items are always fresh, and deiciously made.
I suspect the butter with the spam/egg/rice really elevated the simple dish with a splash or dried seaweed.
The bulgogi fries are cheesy and really delicious as well with mushrooms, green pepers, and onions on seasoned fries.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Banh mi amor! Good sandwiches here oh my. Been looking for a solid banh mi spot and I think I located one here in MP. Great service and even greater grilled beef Vietnamese sammy.”
“Great spot for HK breakfast! The beef congee was perfection. Noodle soup and toast were great too. Classic menu and family local vibe. Everything came out fast. The server didn’t really speak English (and I don’t really speak Chinese) but it was totally fine just made sure to point at specifically what I wanted. Milk tea was not too sweet!!”
“popcorn chicken is tasty and the shaved ice is delicious. will come back”
“Great food priced right! One of our favorites places to eat at’”
“Hole in the wall, hidden gem, mom & pop vibes! they take card!
I can't get over these egg noodles in this wonton mein! seems like most places serve it up clumped together and you need to split your chopsticks to break them apart - BUT NOT HERE. they are silky and bouncy! and the soup is nicely flavored, enhancing everything in the dish. you also get four big wontons filled with plump shrimp and pork. I also love their hainan chicken, well seasoned, and the filet mignon has a nice kick.
Nice selection of traditional asian dessert options in individual serving sides (tofu pudding with ginger syrup, "che thai", ube tofu, etc.) and they also sell their wontons/dumplings frozen + noodles in packages.
parking is available on the street!
limited seating, but a lot of folks are doing takeaway!”
“I stopped by because I was in the area and was craving fries and I was surprised they had a boba drink too.
I ordered their seafood combo with a Thai ice tea with boba. The shrimps, fish balls and fried fish were delicious and the fries were pretty good. A solid combo for the price and overall it’s was a good lunch.
I’d definitely come back again to their other menu items and drinks.
Update
Their curly fries and jalapeño poppers are solid options. Also their garlic flavor on wings is a solid option.”
“I was visiting my mother and decided to get something to eat and liked the reviews. They are the nicest people and amazing customer service. And don't get me started on the food wow. The portions are generous and the prices are wonderfully affordable. Please go and support them you won't be disappointed.”
“Amazing joint To eat celebrate enjoy company”
“They have the best pizza and the environment feel like your at home.”
“I just got a bowl at the new spot by USC. Juicy chicken, nice fluffy rice, The chipotle sauces are tasty and service was fast. I'll get another bowl for sure.”
“come and meet with friendliest team and they treat you like your at home. by far the best tea I have tastedans surprised at sewing agua fresca! I love the cups ?! The sizes are perfect for the prices and they also have discount hours and Bogo deals! I will keep on coming back to this hidden gem ? in Monterey Park! I got the Hawaiian green tea and horchata for my daughter. my mom highly recommended it because she said it was a perfect taste and love the fruit inside, which reminded her of the drinks she would have in our country!”
“There’s this really talkative guy who seems like the manager of the place. Whenever he’s working, the ramen is amazing. But a few months ago, I came when he wasn’t there, and the ramen was served cold, and the noodles were kind of hard. So, if you want to enjoy good ramen, it’s a good idea to check if the manager is working before ordering.”
“Great tasting pizza made and delivered fresh in your back yard!!”
“My family and I frequent here quite often and every single time, the drinks were on point! Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. Their customer service is also great! Always a pleasant experience for us. We've "cheated" and have gone to other boba places when traveling but it's not the same. Twisteas definitely has our loyalty!”

“The onion rings and tater tots appetizers were just what we asked for. They were delicious. The drinks were a hit and miss due to personal tastes for our party. But most tasted well from the Moscow mule and Japanese old fashioned to a dark beer my brother said tasted great.
Parking: Validated for a few hours .”
“This is truly a mom and pop local restaurant. It's been here for years that we never tried. To our surprise, the food was good. The handmade noodles & beef were delicious and good texture. The lamb skewers were seasoned well. The meat was cooked perfectly and good quality, not the odds and ends cut. The dumpling skin was a bit too thick/doughy to my taste. We will come back again for sure.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We are visiting the USA first time and our son who loves the food found out about the Chick-fill-A. We have tried the food and we love it, if we could give more stars than 5 it would be 100.From the entrancing the place you feal special, all workers are happy and friendly. We have had pleasure to talk to Andy who made our visit in this restaurant more than perfect, having the Person like him in the team is amazing,he gave our boys small gifts and they love them. We will be back to this place soon!!!!this is from my 10 year old son the food was delightful the chicken melts in your mouth and Andy was the G.O.A.T”
“Qué son muy amables y la comida Está muy rica y no está muy caro”
“I went for a drive thru it was fast and efficient; it was 9.30 PM though so i don't know how's the queue at lunch time haha. I Haven't tried dine in but I can see from outside the place is clean and maintained well, will update this review If I have the chance to dine in.
For the Chicken Fingers it is just right not to greasy and the meat is quite thick. you can eat it without any sauce the taste is already alright but I recommend you eat it dipping in their Cane sauce for the maximum flavor
From now on I will put this brand in my to go list for late night drive thru cravings”
“Your average Yoshinoya but bigger.
Lots of seats available, definitely bigger than the average fast food place.
Seat comfort is average; solid hard surface but contoured, or you can have a wood/metal chair.
The food is like any other Yoshinoya; tasty when made right.
If you don't mind thin slices of beef, the Gyudon Beef is delicious!!! The teriyaki chicken is also good but I love their beef bowls.”
“Outside atmosphere very chill. If you don't mind the traffic noise. Enjoy your hot or chill cup of Joe with a heated patio great for a nice fall or winter night.
Parking: This Starbucks is on the same lot as a Shell gas station, so Starbucks has a few stalls for parking at a premium but plenty of free street parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Whether you park on site or street, the wheelchair accessibility is very easily accessible.”
“11am-5pm Daily Lunch Special with rice and soup. Our favorite simple Canto LUNCH SPECIAL restaurant, and just takeout Chinese restaurant overall!! Its not the best, but quality is decent, and they have the variety I like.
Depending on what you order, it can be oily, especially the dishes we ordered this time. This visit, it felt like Chinese fast food but better quality. Maybe it was a different chef today? Many places offer too much meat, become a carbo load place, or it's just more mainland China taste and dishes. This place is typical OG Canto lunch specials. They give alot of meat and veggies.
Lunch special prices:
1. Pan fried String Beans with Minced pork $12.99
3. Eggplant and Minced Pork with Garlic Sauce $12.99. Forgot this dish here is too oily and soggy for us.
29. Beef with Bitter Melon in Black Bean Sauce $14.99. We've been trying to get into the bitter melon life for better health.
32. Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce $14.99.
57. Preserved Vegetable with Pork Intestine $15.99. Will order again because we love intestine. They give alot.
We ordered to a certain point where lobster was an additional deal for us...$30 lobster.
Lunch Special soup is always the typical light version. Rice is typical, nothing special, nothing bad.
This visit, we ordered pretty oily items. In previous visits we ordered different dishes. Lettuce and tofu, and shredded bamboo tofu fungus we're not for us last time. We're not into sweet and sour dishes, sweet, spare ribs but we have tried it here; it's not for us but good for those who usually like those dishes. I'll probably order the house special dish (lotus, sausage, fungus), seafood crispy chow mein, crispy intestine, walnut shrimp, jelly fish again.
I'm not a fan of the new popular fad of Canto breakfast specials around 626 SGV. My mom loves deals and loves lunch special...but I think her social circle has changed (with age too) to breakfast special.
We also order (full price) takeout too.”
“We had an early family dinner tonight at Shinano. Combination dinner set w/ 2 items (chicken and tempura) a Salmon Lava Roll, Salmon Lemon roll and Miso Eggplant. Everything was good. Food tasted great. Service was quick and the server checked on us multiple times.
Parking: Accessible ramp and walkway to the restaurant.”
Cheap Eats
“So I absolutely love barbecue pork buns and I'm pretty indifferent about pineapple buns but I just had my first pineapple barbecue pork bun today and I have a new favorite thing. The egg tarts here are amazing. I can't come here that often because they close by 5:00 p.m. :-( all the good places close so early.”
“Wow! Meat pies from heaven in a mini- mall off N Garfield Avenue. Everything here is great. Not a sit down place as such, since it's really small and they only have a few tables, but I'm sure you could eat in if you wanted to (they have a short menu) - but it's not really a restaurant atmosphere - more of a small hole in the wall family run takeout, with Grandpa making dumplings by hand at a table when I was there. There seems to be very little English spoken here. Very delicious and authentic - I'll be back!”
“My family love all the foods in this restaurant. The restaurant is not big but the food is delicious. Especially, the La Zi Ji (spicy fried chicken), the lady is super nice and friendly. Highly recommend it.”
“The fried dough is fresh and crispy, and the meat bun is delicious with a great price. They also serve lamb shumai, which is tasty and pairs well with chili oil. The savory beancurd soup was fantastic. The soy milk was just okay, and the jianbing was decent, though my friend said it has an authentic Tianjin flavor. Street parking was easy. There was a line at 11 a.m. on Saturdays when we left.”
“Honestly, I'm so glad they carved up the old 皇都(Superco) into a separate space and turned one of those spaces into a tea shop. I'm also glad that these guys aren't afraid to let you use their Wi-Fi. Most places can be stingy with that.
Drinks here aren't anything special, but it's on par with your run-of-the-mill boba places.”
“Japanese food for take-out only. It is best to call to order ahead and pick up by the arranged time.Need to be patient as it's run by literally one-person for everything. Food tastes great, and prices are reasonable. I'm happy to support this local business and can totally appreciate the owner's grind and perseverance.Check out the new expanded menu, including new lunch deals ?”
“Total hidden gem that I discovered (omg) 20 years ago. I have to say it's the closest you can get to authentic taiwanese food in Los Angeles. You will be sitting among loyal customers that visit at least a few times a week. The lady here is like an old friend and there is just her and the chef. There is usually never a wait and they open late. Check the hours before you go. One of our favorites in LA. Dishes we recommend include Taiwanese fried chicken, stinky tofu, and shrimp fried rice. All the stir fries are good. CASH Only.”
“First time here and I loved it! I got the vegetarian ham bahn mi, my friend the veggie turkey. Both were amazing. The bread was so crisp and light. Crunchy veggies and tasty plant based 'meat'. It did come with mayo, so not vegan without modification. They also sell the veggie deli meat by itself!
Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian ham, turkey and chicken options for the sandwiches. They do come wirh mayo, so not vegan without modification. But the ham and turkey were delicious!”
“Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! This area has so many hidden gems! From the outside the places does not look appealing, but when you walk in, the place is spacious and clean. So many choices for baked goods at reasonable prices. They had a special of buyer 8 and get 1 free. The pineapple with dried pork pastry was lovely! Highly recommend trying it. The taro pastry was okay, but not as flavorful as anticipated.”
“I ordered the mix and match of 6 and I got 2 originals, 1 crème brûlée, 1 chocolate, 1 honey and butter, and 1 churro cream puff. They all had a subtle flavor but the ones that stood out to me were the churro and the crème brûlée. I must say if you put the same filling in all of the puffs they will taste the same since like I said they all have a subtle flavor. Nonetheless it’s a nice pastry for the hot weather since the custard is cold ( I thought it was going to be warm which I would have preferred). I also had the milk tea w no sugar and mango smoothie. I liked the smoothie better. Anyway, the workers are really nice, good service :) The atmosphere as in like vibes is lacking and it’s because of the decor. Maybe better lighting and tables/seats that aren’t bulky/awkward would improve the atmosphere.”
“Endroit hyper typique ! Bonne musique, cocktails d’un excellent niveau et à un prix tout à fait honnête, tous les classiques sont dispo et le barman tient la corde niveau cordes vocales !! Excellente carte de dîner ! Nous n’avons pas testé le grill … seul regret de la soirée. Il faut qu’on y retourne, absolument”
“The baked pork chop on rice was really good, I think if you love Mexican rice you'll love this. Atmosphere was okay but absolutely fine if you're just there to hang out.”
“Ordered pork shumai, shrimp hargow, steamed BBQ pork bun and custard tart. All very yummy and they aren't stingy with the dumpling sizes.
Whenever I'm in the area, this is my stop.”
“Well, that's my first time there and I have to say.I liked it a lot.The food the service the atmosphere was great and the company too was great! My friend's been going there for years and she love it.”
“Authentic Chaozhou noodles: rice noodles and egg noodles. Two main different ingredients and completely different textures.
1. Egg noodle:
chewy, tastes like a beautiful independent woman’s workday morning: refreshing and high energy.
2. Thick rice noodle:
Rich rice flavor that southerners grow up with. A flavor that running in their blood since they were born. Tastes like home and mommy.
The meat they put on my wonton noodle soup omg it’s sooooo good so flavorful so perfectly tender and chewy. I don’t know what it is maybe cha Shao?
3. Service & Atmosphere:
- You not here for birthday party so.
- If you speaking local dialect you will be treated like homie is really not because they are racism to anyone else is just because aunties work here only speak dialect and some English. So English should be fine flenz. (another way telling you how niche and authentic this place is)
Chaozhou food culture:
Chaozhou noodles focus on light, natural flavors. Dishes like Chaozhou vermicelli and egg noodle have a unique texture and are usually paired with fresh ingredients. The broth is often a mild bone or seafood-based soup.
I eat half of it with some white pepper, to just taste the broth the slight sweet flavor (without any of those diabetic sugar in those commonly seen Americanized Asian soup. my Asian taste buds are really not made for American’s sweet-everything-food industry okay? I hate it. Let’s be honest if one day an Asian immigrants like me become the president of United States the first law I’ll sign is put those shameless capitalist who kept adding sugar in everything in to jail.
So many things literally shouldn’t be sweet by adding sugar!!!”
“Capital Seafood is one of my favorite Dim Sum restaurants in LA. They offer all the traditional Dim Sum dishes, and everything is incredibly fresh, served from old-school push carts. The service is top-notch. Whether you’re a Dim Sum lover or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommended. Don't forget to try the delicious desserts.
Kid-friendliness: Yes
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“First time here. The soy bone soup and rice here are unlimited and free, and they taste good. I had three dishes for lunch today, Longli fish, beef, and signature chicken. I felt the taste was a bit salty, especially the Longli fish. Maybe to be more in line with American tastes? Overall, the environment is quiet and not noisy. By the way, lunch and dinner prices are different because the portions are different.”

“The attention and service is Excellent, the food is very delicious, especially the pizzas, all their workers treated us very well, especially Gil and Lorena. We will definitely return. Thank you so much.”
Haha anyways, this is a good spot for classic old school LA Pastrami food but I don’t think it would be my first choice for eating out”
“We had an amazing experience. This restaurant has character. From the garden outside to the fireplace and the amazing balcony. We enjoyed the live music (Latin jazz) and we tried some really visually appealing and flavorful dishes. The waiter was very knowledgeable and took his time to answer all our questions so we can have the best experience possible. The balcony has a nice view of the sunset which was a nice surprise to us. Will definitely go back.”
“Very quick & friendly service at the Sunset location. All I got was a regular-size chicken karaage bowl and it was perfect. Tipped a little extra”
“Nice place to have lunch or dinner. Excellent service.Great atmosphere .
Chicken with ginger sauce is very good.
Loster with sticky rice is excellent. Tofu in brown sauce with mushrooms is good. Strawberry ? geletin desert is very ? good.
Parking: Location. Easy to park covered garage.
3 hours free validation.”
“The Daikokuya ramen is soo delicious and very filling.”
