“Jumpin’ Lobster was a good deal for $12.99 a lb! Came with a big piece of corn and a potato! Both were really good! Not mushy. We enjoyed the salt and pepper crab too. The place was not too busy so it was a good place to hang and catch up. Shrimp was big and fresh! Will definitely be back!“

“This spot was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The moment we walked in the vibe was amazing. The girls were awesome very nice and helpful. I wish I can name them all but the one person that served us was Vanessa. She was really sweet explaining the menu the point we can make by registering and so on! The place is very clean and very tidy! The boil was perfect and the sides were delicious. We had the fries (lemon pepper) garlic bread & onion rings, all 10/10! There is so many things I can say but I don't want to bore you guys. Lol you need to try it for yourself:)“

“Yeah!! I still remember being a bit disappointed the first time I went to the Century City location — it just didn’t feel that cute. But this new store has so much atmosphere! Even though the donuts are a bit sweet for me, it’s just really nice sitting here.“

“From the outside this looks like a hole in the wall place in a strip mall but inside it's huge and magical! We had a party of 200 people in there and there was still areas for other pattons.
Aside from most of the staff not speaking English to tell us what we were eating when it was brought out we figured it out and everything was uniquely different in its own way!
I usually take food pics but I didn't this time! P.S beer was only 5 bucks a bottle!“

“I was looking for somewhere to meet up with a colleague for lunch and CP came highly recommended. My colleague did the ordering. I found the taste and selection of dim sum to be one of the highlights. CP does get noisy. Service is excellent. Restaurant comps underground parking.“

“Great old-school dim sum spot in Monterey Park! Came here on a weekday and loved the value — most dim sum items were only around $3.68, and the lobster special was a great deal. The traditional push cart style gives it a very classic Cantonese feel. Everything we ordered was tasty, especially the dim sum favorites. Will definitely come back!“

“Monterey Palace Restaurant is a classic Cantonese dining spot in Monterey Park, especially popular for dim sum and large family meals. The restaurant has a big banquet-style dining room that feels lively and busy, especially during weekend brunch.
I stopped by for dim sum, and the variety was impressive. The shrimp dumplings (har gow) were fresh and delicate, while the Portuguese egg tarts were warm, flaky, and slightly sweet. I also tried the roast duck, which had crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat.
The portions are generous, making it a great place to share dishes with a group. The service can be a little fast-paced when it’s busy, but the food quality makes up for it.
Overall, Monterey Palace is a solid spot for traditional Cantonese food and dim sum in the San Gabriel Valley. If you’re looking for a classic Chinese banquet-style restaurant, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“We had a wonderful family birthday dinner at Duck House! The 3-course Beijing duck was absolutely fantastic, and the combination fried rice and crab soup were delicious too.
Thanks to Catherine and the friendly, attentive staff. The inside dining area had such a warm and cozy atmosphere, which made our celebration even more special.
Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time for ordering Beijing Duck. We’ll definitely be back!“
