“Upon seeing the monstrous wood fired oven, you know you are in for a serious pizza. We had proscuito and calebrese on one pizza we ordered. Tremendous. Beautiful color, chew and char on a crust that proofs for 36 hours. Thin enough to fold, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings. So much flavor comes through from the fire and smoke of the oven. You can tell the dude man who was running the front of the house has serious love for the place. Very sincere, very authentic. This is not a whatever pizza joint. Its one of those restaraunts that is more than the sum of its parts. This place has vision and heart and you see it, feel it and taste it.“

“There's a reason why NBC Seafood has been in business for so many years. If you know Monterey Park and Alhambra area well, you'd see restaurants come and go so often that it would not be a surprise if you go to the same restaurant the second time and the name has been changed .NBC Seafood is a very good and authentic Cantonese food restaurant. Great place for a family gathering. Food is fantastic and quickly served. Everything seems to come out all at the same time so you'd get to enjoy everything at the same time.We had a party of 9 and we had a great time. And they always give free desserts.I highly recommend this place.“

“It's been awhile since I've gone to these classic Cantonese restaurants. Usually I would go to these type of places with my family because the dishes are meant for family style. I was able to check out this place with a group of friends. We rented out a separate room for the large party. We got their set menu that included 10items for $658: appetizer combo platter(5item), Peking Duck, baked truffle oil lobster with noodle, mixed seafood crab soup, scallop and shrimp corn, snow pea leaf with golden crab meat sauce, Chiu Chow style steamed whole black cod, filet mignon cubes in black pepper sauce, and Taiwanese style BBQ eel top on sticky rice, sesame rice ball sweet soup. They gave us tanyuan in sweet egg soup as dessert as well as the passion fruit jello. Overall, I think the quality of the food was pretty decent. I really enjoyed the food here. It's definitely on the expensive side. They also provided really good service to us. One of the waiter Vin Chee even performed a small magic show to us at the end. He's an aspiring actor from Singapore. My overall experience was very positive. We stayed from 12:00 to almost 3:00. I would bring my family back here. Also, there's a lot of celebrities that eaten here. I think that's pretty cool.“

“The food is good. We ordered pan fried pork bun (also called shengjian mantou), chicken wing, spicy wonton, signature fried fish, and Mongolian beef. Food came with large quantities, we three people couldn’t finish the food and had some take home.I came for pan fried pork bun, it’s really not that authentic, but still good. My favorite was spicy wonton, but still, the filling was not that amazing. The rest of dishes, I’d say, is good, but kinda Americanized. The restaurant was crowded, (maybe always :), 10min wait at least. so recommend come early, or join the waitlist online.“

“We went here on Sat around 12:00 noon. The plaza is doing remodeling now. You only can take elevator to the restaurant on the 5th floor. You check in with a lady and she gives you a ticket with a number. You wait in the lobby till your number is called. The service is slow and you need to be aggressive to ask for food, and services. Overall experience is fun and food is good.“

“It's now named as Taste of MP. New ownership? Not sure! But the lady manger is still in charge that I see. Many times that I went was for lunch. The price is fair. Volume is good. Quality is better than fair. Service is excellent. I enjoyed a lot is the house soup that is served with the meal without extra charge. If you don't know, let me say that most of the time the Cantonese soup is cooked using best fit seasonal ingredients to help maintain good balance of Yin Yang of one's physiological being. The six private rooms is also a plus. Although they are not sound proof, but do provide some degree of privacy for us to have a private party without curious eyes looking at us. Ok to return.I am posting 4 stars only because the fifth is for improvements going forward.“

“My family has been ordering from them for Lunar New Year for many years now. They offer a lot of good Chinese dishes for a reasonable price. I took off a few stars because we tried to order over the phone in advance on CNY eve, and they said they don't take pre orders. That's fine, we called like they recommended about 1-2 hours before our desired time. We called so many times and no one picked up because their lines were so busy. I wished they would just take orders earlier in the day so we don't have to physically go in person to order and wait. When we got there in person, we were informed it'll take about 30 min to an hr. Sure, that's fine as well. We waited and waited and saw people who came after us, leave with food. I checked with the staff and it turns out, they left our food on the table without informing us, despite them taking down my number and telling me they'll give me a call when it's ready. I wished the service would be better or they have a better system on peak holidays.Parking: sucks on holidays. But that's expected. So park on the street and walk in if you can.“

“I only got to go here so I'm just here to rate the one item I got which is the string beans. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was crunchy. I've started to give up on mama Lu's because it's 50/50 there whether or not it's good. Here there's a good amount of meat in the dish. It did not come with rice nor any utensils but whatever. I don't need that. Parking is a small lot. Credit card accepted.“

“Went to Delicias Cafe by chance today. Monica and the cook were so sweet. The cook saw from the window that my mom was struggling getting out of the car and came running out to help. What an angel! We came for a late lunch. We order the Mexican coffee on the recommendation of the owner Monica. The steaming hot mug of a sweet cinnamon coffee was so delicious. Chips and homemade salsa: nice thin tortillas chips with a wonderful salsa. My mom swore it was the best salsa she has ever had. It was so flavorful. As we looked over the menu we kept going back to the pictures on the breakfast menu. They looked so good. It was after 1pm so we thought they had stopped serving lunch so we went back to the regular menu. We had decided on a few dishes but mentions that the we will have to come back for breakfast. Monica mentioned that they serve breakfast all day. We jumped on it and ordered huevos rancheros and Chilaquiles. I really like the red Chilaquiles and eggs. My mom really liked the huevos rancheros. Sorry I forgot to take pictures until after we started to eat. Can't wait to come again.“

“Drinks: 4/5 Food: 5/5 :) Services: 4.7/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Pricing: pricy $$$ Overall: 4.7/5 What we ordered: - Shrimp and pork dumplings with black truffles - Scallop and shrimp dumplings with fish roe - Rice noodle roll with shrimp - Chicken congee - Chicken feet - Spareribs with black bean sauce - Braised bean curd roll - Deep-fried Chinese donuts with shrimp My cousin took me here for brunch and I was impressed with the quality of dim sum. It felt more elevated because the ingredients were so fresh and did not taste like leftovers. Contrary to traditional dim sums, the dishes at Chef Tony are not overly salty and oily, which I appreciate because I can eat more and not feel bloated. Their chicken congee is amazing with a slight hint of ginger. Some of our favorites include the: black truffles dumplings, deep-fried Chinese donuts with shrimp, and chicken congee. OVerall, great experience, great food. I highly recommend.“
