“This restaurant has an extensive menu of northern Chinese, Sichuan dishes and Peking duck. Unlike other pecking duck restaurants, we did not have the call in advance to pre order the duck. We were a party of 2 and we tried the marinated cold jelly fish, the pecking duck and the stir fried morning glory (ong choi) with garlic. We found all these dishes delicious and of high quality. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. The dining room is nicely decorated and noise level low.“

Monthinga is good although pretty mild for my taste. More than decent warm mushy tofu. One of the best Nangyithoke. Complementary sago pudding is great too. We didn't have the time for dessert so they packed it for us. Can't recommend them enough.“

Prices are a little on the high side, but kudos to them for delivering dishes that actually look like the photos. Therefore, there are plenty of Instagram-worthy items for those looking for that! Good experience, but not necessarily a repeatable one.

“They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.

Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.“

When eating, you should mix it with raw cucumber. The noodles, sauce and refreshing cucumber naturally form a delicious balance that makes you want to take another bite.Maybe it's so strange. After eating it for the first time, I ordered this bowl of noodles from the store every time I came back. “From the outside this looks like a hole in the wall place in a strip mall but inside it's huge and magical! We had a party of 200 people in there and there was still areas for other pattons.
Aside from most of the staff not speaking English to tell us what we were eating when it was brought out we figured it out and everything was uniquely different in its own way!
I usually take food pics but I didn't this time! P.S beer was only 5 bucks a bottle!“

“I dropped by to try the skewers. I ordered a pitcher of beer to go with them. I got the beef vessel, tendon and intestine as well as the lamb, pork belly and chicken gizzard. It was fun watching them rotate on the grill automatically. They have some games you can play to win prizes.

The service was good. I think there was mainly one person handling the tables and he was very efficient.

There's no parking lot. I had no issues finding free parking in the neighborhood.“

All pizzas come with ONE topping and any additional are what the prices are shown in the menu. Their pizza is pretty thick! It’s not thin crust but still very tasty! Their breading is soft and not chewy/doughy so that’s a plus!

We got the 16” - sausage - pizza - a tiny bit of spice on the pizza! They gave plates + cheese/chili pepper on the side. We could’ve gone a size down! We ate half the pizza only!

Parking: it was easy since I came around 11:30 on a weekday.

Seating: 2 big tables and a few small tables. A lot of take outs!

So delish outside and the wings were so moist and tender! Loved it! Steamed rice noodles were excellent as was the beef chow fun! The wok hei was 👌🏼. So good I kept wanting to eat more. Loved the on choy (hollow stem veggies) cooked in a spicy fermented tofu sauce, had a little kick. The scrambled eggs with shrimp were cooked to perfection! Shrimp was not overcooked and eggs were moist and fluffy! Baked sole filet rice was huge and cheesy! So good. Everything we had was excellent! Definitely recommend this place for dinner. Sorry I forgot to take pics of menu. Too busy chatting. Service was good too. Restaurant is nice and roomy with high ceilings and nice decor. Great parking too! Plus it’s free!“

“Food is below average as far as HK cuisine in the area. Hospitality is definitely the most authentic HK you can experience though, i.e. service sucks but that's authentic HK experience for you. Ordered ice HK milk tea and it's all sugar taste. Order seafood noodles and noodle is bland but at least decent amount of shrimp and octopus.

“I actually really like the dishes here at Yunan Restaurant. The spicy food is actually spicy. The cold dishes are $9.99 for 3 meat portions. Rice is separately charged.

My go-to dish is the water-boiled fish (filet in chili oil). My favorite cold dishes are the sliced potato, pig ear, and beef slices.

“This place is great. The food is pretty good and service is kinda slow at times but on rare occasions. I usually order the Beef Upgraded Soup and it doesn't disappoint me. The price for it is kinda on the expensive side due to inflation. The atmosphere feels a bit crowded since they do have lots of seating but in a small restaurant. I do recommend if you're in the area to give it a try if it's not out of your way. Overall, good experience and will come back again soon.“
