“We had a wonderful family birthday dinner at Duck House! The 3-course Beijing duck was absolutely fantastic, and the combination fried rice and crab soup were delicious too.

Thanks to Catherine and the friendly, attentive staff. The inside dining area had such a warm and cozy atmosphere, which made our celebration even more special.

“If you want authentic Burmese Food, go there. Not pricy, yummy food and warmly welcoming environment.
I really wanted Shan noodle with Tofu but mostly Burmese Restaurant only offered Shan Noodle, but this one has it. So I ordered Shan Tofu Noodle and it’s so fresh. Monhikha is good but texture is thick.
The place is hard to find as it’s really small inside. Waiting time for food is so long, for me, I waited for about 20 25 mins to get my food after already ordering. The lunch special deal is good one.“

“Premier Dessert Art is a low-key, casual shop, which serves delicious, unique, and creative desserts.

It is located in the middle of a row of shops and popular restaurants, including Mama Lu’s Dumplings and Chubby Cattle.

Free parking is available in the parking lot behind the shops and restaurants or on the street close by. Space is limited. You should probably come before or after dinner in order to avoid the crowds.

The dine-in area in the shop is not too big. There are mostly small tables for 2 people. But there are larger tables for 4-6 people in the front of the shop.

To place a dine-in order, you need to scan the QR on the little sign (with table number) on each table.

A server will bring out your dessert order to your table when the order is ready in about 15 min. The wait time may be more or less depending on how busy the shop is.

After you’re done eating, you pay your bill at the cashier register in the middle of the shop. Be sure to include a tip to show your appreciation for the nice service.

“Pastry was dry, but the curry filling was yummy with a touch of spicy. Fan Tuan (purple rice) was amazing, total hit with the husband and kiddos. My husband doesn't care for pickled veggies, but he stated it actually works really well in the roll with all the other ingredients. My kids call it Chinese kimbap and it was an amazing, easy, quick and clean lunch for the kiddos at the airport. Definitely coming back to try other items on their menu. “I don’t usually stay for dine-in. I always ask my husband to pick up orders for us. We call it grandma’s restaurant— just because we’ve been eating their food ever since my 5-year-old was born.
We store their frozen dumplings in our fridge instead of buying brand name at the Asian grocery.

“Walked in and ordered at the counter! We sat ourselves. They will bring the food out to your table.

All pizzas come with ONE topping and any additional are what the prices are shown in the menu. Their pizza is pretty thick! It’s not thin crust but still very tasty! Their breading is soft and not chewy/doughy so that’s a plus!

We got the 16” - sausage - pizza - a tiny bit of spice on the pizza! They gave plates + cheese/chili pepper on the side. We could’ve gone a size down! We ate half the pizza only!

Parking: it was easy since I came around 11:30 on a weekday.

Seating: 2 big tables and a few small tables. A lot of take outs!

“They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.

Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.“

The music is a little loud on a Wednesday night but the music selection was a vibe. No wait for a party of 2. They won't seat you until the whole party is there btw. Abdy, our server, was so sweet & accommodating. Only reason I gave the food a 4/5 is because I the portion was really small for the price. I will say I thought the salmon bowl was going to be grilled but it was a poke bowl (and that's on me) but Abdy offered to replace it with something else (so sweet 🥺) but I still wanted to try it so I kept it! So delish outside and the wings were so moist and tender! Loved it! Steamed rice noodles were excellent as was the beef chow fun! The wok hei was 👌🏼. So good I kept wanting to eat more. Loved the on choy (hollow stem veggies) cooked in a spicy fermented tofu sauce, had a little kick. The scrambled eggs with shrimp were cooked to perfection! Shrimp was not overcooked and eggs were moist and fluffy! Baked sole filet rice was huge and cheesy! So good. Everything we had was excellent! Definitely recommend this place for dinner. We stopped by JJ Hong Kong Cafe in Monterey Park and tried their Curry Combination Rice, Beef Brisket Lo Mein, Baked Pork Chop Macaroni, Deep Fried Cornish Hen, Fried Chili Turnip Patties, and French Toast.

The French Toast with ice cream was easily one of the most memorable dishes on the table. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for sharing.

The atmosphere felt old-school and casual — the kind of neighborhood spot where people come for a relaxed meal, late-night cravings, or to catch a game with friends.

“If someone ask me where to go for authentic Chinese food, this place is it, especially if you like spicy food! There are so many cold appetizer dishes that you can pick right behind a glass bar. I have been to many places that have cold dishes, but this place is more tastier! The menu has a good selection too. Price has gone up a bit but I'm happy to pay for the authenticity and real Chinese food! Whenever my family and I are in the area, we always stop by here. Highly recommend this place!“

“Lots of people say this is their favorite Taiwanese personal hot pot spot. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their honey milk tea, steamed veggies and spicy lamb appetizers, and new bak kuh teh pot to try. I brought my friend and she got their milk tea and iconic beef pot said it was really good. My honey milk tea was perfectly sweet and milky with plenty of jiggly pudding. The steamed veggies were soft and had a light pork flave. The spicy lamb was a bit spicy, cuminy, not too gamey but was a bit tough. The bak kuh teh had sweet savory garlicy flaves and was loaded with so many yummy things from their super tender flavorful yummy pork ribs, juicy frozen tofu, shiitake and seafood mushrooms, leafy napa cabbage, garlic, bouncy meatballs, imitation crab, corn, radish, tofu skin and vermicelli. It even came with a side of rice which I upgraded to their comforting umami beef tomato rice. The noodles had the perfect texture, and the broth was incredibly rich, flavorful, and comforting. Every bite tasted fresh and made with care. The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. This has easily become one of my favorite places for authentic, freshly made noodles, and I'll definitely be back again. Highly recommended“
