“It's great. The food is good. But you have to wait outside until your number is called and outside the place is littered with cigarettes in the waiting area. Please clean it up and put a no smoking sign. No one wants second hand smoke.“

“We had a large party dining here and they were very accommodating for such a large crowd. The service was fine and the dishes were excellent. Unlike other Chinese food restaurants that taste as though the same sauce is used on all of the dishes, Here the sauces were varied and delicious. The portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meal. I never saw the final bill so I can't comment on bang for your buck.

“I will leave a very honest review here. The owners are extremely generous and this is the most authentic Chengdu / Szechuan food I’ve ever had. Do not be fooled by other restaurants fancy decor, some other restaurant tastes are bland and not authentic. If you want great portions, AUTHENTIC tasting Szechuan food, come here ASAP. I highly recommend the 辣子鸡 (spicy crispy chicken) sometimes regarded as the best in SGV. You can also ask the owners for off menu items to surprise your taste buds if you’re down for a flavor adventure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“

The side dishes and sauces were also authentic and complemented each other perfectly. The home-style dishes were also prepared with care, the flavors were authentic, and they were incredibly delicious with rice. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes you order. I got the rice roll with beef stew. That was really good!

The salted chicken rice was ok, nothing g to rave about. Hope they serve with more chicken.

“My parents and I came here for a visit as we always see such a crowd on the weekends. The food and staff were exceptional! Plenty of seating and parking. The servings are very generous! There's a reason this place has been a 30-year mainstay!“

“Came here on a Tuesday for lunch with my parents. It was a bit busy, but the wait was under 10 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all.

We ordered the usual dim sum staples and added one special item, the imperial cold chicken. That dish was the standout. Super flavorful, tender, and honestly the highlight of the meal. Everything else we ordered was solid and hit the spot. The food overall was really good.

Ambiance is exactly what you’d expect from a classic Chinese restaurant. Loud, busy, and energetic. You can still hold a conversation, but you’ll need to raise your voice a bit.

Now the downside. Service was lacking. We had to refill our own teapot and grab our own to-go boxes. No real attentiveness, and compared to other dim sum spots nearby, the service here falls short.

Parking is convenient. They have a small free lot plus free street parking, which is always a plus.

Would I come back? If someone else suggested it, sure. The food is excellent, but the service definitely needs improvement.“

“You can’t go wrong with a bowl of ramen from Shin-Sen-Gumi. I’ve been coming here for years and it still hits. I always get the Hakata Red w/ corn (no bean sprouts). The chashu slices are hidden, but they’re in there. Great customer service as well!“

“Saw Big E's on Instagram and decided to make the trip. I grab two of the daily double cheeseburgers for $3.99 and a side of fries. Man man man... Those burgers were so freakin juicy...I pulled one out of the bag and it leaked on my phone and I wasn't even mad!😂 I knew this was about to be good and boy was it. I spent about $13 and it was all worth the trip, the food, and the price. Considering what you would spend at In and Out for something like that... Big E you can have my money every week! Seen a lot of older customers who seem like regulars by the way they were interacting with the waiters & waitresses. The prices were very reasonable. “We always enjoy a meal from Panda Express when we visit the USA — it’s fresh, consistent, and a great break from the usual American food options. I also love that the pricing stays the same all day, which makes it a reliable choice when you’re travelling on a budget.

This visit introduced us to the Teriyaki Salmon, and wow… it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and such a great way to add a little seafood to our usual favourites. The team mentioned it was a limited‑time seasonal item, so we made the most of it while we could.

This particular stop was especially relaxing thanks to the lovely outdoor seating area. It was quiet, clean, and a great spot to enjoy an early dinner. Parking was easy, service was friendly, and the food was — as always — fresh and flavourful. We grabbed a drink and shared a large box, which was perfect for the two of us.

Another win for Panda Express, and a reminder why it stays firmly in our Top 10 favourite USA traveller eats.

“Enjoyed the meal at a dinner party tonight. Especially enjoyed the shrimp salad. So refreshing! Loved the sweet chili dressing. All the courses were good and well flavored while not too salty. Had not been here for a while. Great space for a dinner, karoake and dancing! For a dinner party of 14 tables, service was really good! They even provided extra chopsticks for serving and were good about refilling the ice bucket.“

“Really liked eating the avocado bacon cheeseburger here! Fries are so yummy and the burger is very good! Eat here when you're super hungry and everything will be good. They also have lots of breakfast prices and chili fries. Just one meal will fill you up“

“Please make more vegan bún bì chả giò and vegan bánh cuốn chả because nearly every time we went there to buy these favorite dishes, there were none left. Please be aware that nowaday there are many vegans.“

“Consistently the best roast duck (not to be confused with Peking duck) even in SGV (San Gabriel Valley). Always juicy, tender, and amazingly tasty. We only take out from this store, but we do it regularly. I have no idea what the service is like or the physical plant, as my wife is always the one to go in to get the duck. Oh, the chicken chow fun dry is also consistently tasty, generous, with tender pieces of chicken. I don't know if chicken chow fun is even on the menu. Most places only list beef chow fun, but if you ask for chicken at Sam Woo, you get a very tasty dish.“

“I tried this place because my friend recommended it. When I walked in, I was welcomed by the flavorful smell of the broth. I ordered the rice cake with egg, the beef sauté sauce with rice noodles, and the fish ball seaweed noodle with thick egg noodles. Personally, I really liked the fish ball noodles, especially after adding their in-house garlic chili oil. The beef sauté noodle sauce was on the heavier side and very peanutty. The rice cake was a little too soft for my liking, but it was still pretty good.“

“Came here for lunch with family and it was busy inside when we went. The store isn't that big and there aren't that many tables so it's a more homey style place. Luckily, we didn't have to wait long for table.

We ordered the French Style Stir Fry Beef, Pea Shoots, Honey Garlic Pork Chop, Fried Egg Tofu w/ Mushrooms and Veggies, and Braised Pork w/ Aged Vegetables. We also ordered the Honey Lemon Iced Tea because it only costs $2.50 for a very large cup and comes with refills! So worth!

The dishes didn't take too long to be served and comes with white rice for free. We liked all the dishes except the Braised Pork because it was tough to chew and a bit dry. The other dishes were all very good, seasoned well, and not salty. They tasted very good with some rice. The Pork Chop w/ Honey Garlic sauce was better than I expected since it is fried and tasted great with the sauce. The portions were also pretty big for the price which is hard to see these days. These dishes also tasted like authentic Guangdong food. Will be coming back again for sure!“

“I have ate here twice. First time was dine in. The server Angel was horrible. The first thing we ordered of course were drinks. I ordered a water with lemon and it came after the meal. The pancakes were ice cold and the plates were the exact same size as the pancakes. My husbands order was wrong. He ordered toast as a side and hit potatoes. Then tonight we got good delivered and it was also horrible. The eggs were rubbery and my husband was supposed to get tres leches pancakes and he got regular pancakes. I was supposed to get salsa and sour cream with my tacos and didn’t get it. There was no cheese sauce on my tacos either.“
