“Service was fast, friendly and very helpfull....food was also great by the way. I came on a weekend and it was very busy and had to wait but still was well worth it.”
“This is my favorite place to get cookies from! Every visit is a great experience, the cookies are always fresh, delicious, and consistently hit the spot. On top of that, the customer service is always amazing. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel valued every time you walk in. It’s definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet!”
“This place deserves every bit of five stars. No matter what you order, the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care.
What impressed me even more than the food was the service. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and well-coordinated. Their teamwork and efficiency make the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything arrived quickly, the restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming.
Finding a place like this on a Sunday afternoon truly felt like a little moment of happiness. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. I will definitely be coming back! ★★★★★”
“My husband and I have been here quite a few times now. We try to introduce a different couple to this restaurant each time we dine here. It has become one of our favorite places! The previous manager Sam, as well as the current manager Jimmy, have always been so accommodating to us! Each dish we order is always so delicious! Take a look at my recent photos and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!”

“We came for a friend’s birthday and had a great dinner here. Food was fresh, and the interior of the restaurant is very clean and tasteful. The broth base is all delicious, the picked cabbage one was an unexpected surprise! Staffs are nice and attentive. We would definitely coma back!”
“I’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and both visits were enjoyable. I tried the hot sake, the salmon and California roll bento set, and the teriyaki beef plate. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the dining experience even better. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal and a relaxed atmosphere—I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“The banh xeo is top notch here. Both the shrimp and fish ones are great! It's so crispy and comes with lots of fresh veggies. Its even crispy and perfect when I get take out! A little pricey but it's a good portion. There is a $1 credit card fee so bring cash. I love this place so much, if only they opened for dinner!”

“Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken and it was really good!
The chicken was super juicy with a crispy coating and strong flavor. I got medium spice, which was perfect🤤🤤🤤❤️❤️
Sliders were the highlight, fries were just okay. A bit oily, but definitely worth it for the taste.
Overall, a solid spot for spicy chicken 🍗🔥”
“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.
My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.
Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.
There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.
If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff”

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩”
“Honest opinion Everything was so good! We did have to wait about 10 minutes for the server to take are order, but she was so nice! It was so busy!! But delicious! Honest a little pricey! But what ya going to do? It's 2026! I recommend coming out to Denny's if you like a tasty meal and people watching! It was nice! Thank you and God bless 🙏”
“Fresh Baguettes, Fresh Bánh mì, Fresh Pho! Wow! One Stop Shop. Discovered an amazing place having all dishes, Vietnamese coffee, desserts, and fresh baguettes like Vietnam. The Vietnamese flavors are spot and authentic! And, great place and vibes for socializing with friends either indoors or on the outdoor patio area. Return we will. To the Proprietor: Cảm ơn!”
“This is a diner that apparently has been here for decades. A family owned restaurant for the local community. This place is the go to especially after playing golf at Whittier Narrows down the street.
My son loves this place, his go to is always the club sandwich fries included. My personal favorite is the patty melt with fries. For appetizers we love the onion rings. A heads up, if you order a large fries that's exactly what you get. Not the typical small serving but a mound of fries to share for the whole table.
It's a no frills local joint where they have regulars that always come in. These mom and pop places are what makes this country what it is, not the cookie cutter chain restaurants. Always support your local businesses.”
“Excellent vegetarian pizza! Very attractive presentation with quality ingredients. Crust is on the thinner side, which i like. Very quiet when we were there. They had a couple of tvs with sports playing, no sound. Three two-person tables and three four person tables. Very pleasant service.”
“Exceptional Service and Delicious Food!
I had an incredible experience at Olive Garden! From the moment we sat down, the service was top-notch. Our server, Abe, was absolutely fantastic—his attention to detail was impressive, and he was consistently attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. The manager also provided wonderful service, making us feel truly valued as guests. I was honestly blown away by the level of care we received.
The food was equally impressive:
Cocktails: Perfectly balanced and very flavorful.
Appetizers: Delicious and a great start to the meal.
Soup and Salad: Fresh, tasty, and exactly what you crave from Olive Garden.
On top of the great food and service, the restrooms were spotless, which shows how much they care about the overall environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal with world-class service!”
“MR DRAGON NOODLE HOUSE delivers an outstanding noodle experience that easily earns a full 5 stars. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, with a casual, comforting vibe that sets the tone for a great meal.
The noodles are the highlight—rich, flavorful broth paired with perfectly cooked noodles that have just the right texture. Whether you go with a classic beef noodle soup or a spicier specialty bowl, each dish is packed with depth and balance. The toppings are fresh and generous, especially the tender meats and crisp vegetables that add great contrast in every bite.
Service is quick and attentive without feeling rushed, and the staff does a great job of making sure everything comes out hot and fresh. Portions are satisfying, leaving you full but not overly heavy.
Overall, MR DRAGON NOODLE HOUSE stands out as a go-to spot for comforting, high-quality noodle dishes that are consistent, flavorful, and worth coming back for.”

“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.”
“This place is such a hole in the wall, would honestly come back. This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden. The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! Don’t let the small shop and sketchy look deceive you!”
“This is my go-to spot for fried skewers and late-night eating. Beyond the skewers, the restaurant serves a range of Northeastern Chinese specialties, including bean curd of the sort sold by street vendors to schoolchildren in China, along with cold noodles and other familiar staples. The menu is notably broad, whether you want stir-fries with rice or smaller dishes to share. Seasonal changes keep it from growing stale, with new items appearing often enough to reward repeat visits.”
“Years ago my mom randomly came to this store after a gig in the area, and she was shocked by how good it was.
We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though!
Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp.
Unassuming interior, delicious meal.”
“The lobster here was absolutely delicious, so soft. I especially loved that the meat wasn’t chopped into tiny pieces; you get generous, chunky bites of lobster that are incredibly satisfying and full of flavor. The bread was thick and soft. The perfect complement to the lobster. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!”
“Great Dim Sum. I’ve been coming here regularly, and have always been impressed by the quality and attention. I will definitely continue to come back as often as possible.”

“I have ate here twice. First time was dine in. The server Angel was horrible. The first thing we ordered of course were drinks. I ordered a water with lemon and it came after the meal. The pancakes were ice cold and the plates were the exact same size as the pancakes. My husbands order was wrong. He ordered toast as a side and hit potatoes. Then tonight we got good delivered and it was also horrible. The eggs were rubbery and my husband was supposed to get tres leches pancakes and he got regular pancakes. I was supposed to get salsa and sour cream with my tacos and didn’t get it. There was no cheese sauce on my tacos either.”
“I would like to take a moment to commend you on having one of the best managers on your team. Cesar and his staff consistently provide exceptional and professional customer service. It is clear that he truly cares about his role and takes pride in ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the lobby is always clean and welcoming. The staff demonstrates great attention to detail and maintains a friendly, positive attitude at all times.
Thank you, Mr. Cesar, for your dedication and leadership. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for quality food and top-tier service.”

“The Beijing Duck was the best I’ve had out of all the ones I had here, comparable to the ones I had when I was in China. Food was excellent! Service was also very fast and servers were very attentive. Will definitely be back!”

“My FAVORITE acai place! Perfect for lunch on a hot day! So yummy, healthy, and pretty! I love that they have a low sugar acai too and both matcha and original chia pudding! Lots of great toppings! I usually pre order via app and pick up but wanted to use my free ones so ordered in store! Check out the assembly! So cool. Edna has mad knife skills! Service is always excellent! — at Acai Joint Rosemead.”

“Super delicious!
First time I've ever tried dry rice noodle - delicious! The dipping sauce that came with it had a hint of caramel- not too sweet. Try this!
Best part: Eating this with some fries and garlic wings with Peruvian green sauce.
Plus the staff was kind + warmhearted. Definitely give this place a shot.”
“My new go to place for banh mi! They're open until pretty late for a banh mi place, which I appreciated when I needed to grab some sandwiches at 8:30 pm for a late dinner.
They offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread banh mi. One is $6.25 so when you order two and get one free, it comes out to be about $4 each. The sandwiches I've gotten so far (grilled pork and grilled beef) are the most stuffed I've seen in a round banh mi!
I couldn't leave without trying their egg rolls and pate chaud. They're $1.30 each or 3 pieces for $3.75. Solid egg rolls and pate chaud.
Parking in this supermarket plaza can be a little crazy. Park towards the side to avoid the traffic.”
“Time Space is the epitome of a great night out! The Chinese BBQ is absolutely divine, and the karaoke system ensures there's never a dull moment. I always leave with a smile on my face.”

“Pho Filet 2 is a solid Vietnamese spot in the San Gabriel Valley if you’re craving a comforting bowl of pho. The restaurant has a casual, no-frills atmosphere where locals come for quick and satisfying meals.
I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.
I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.
Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly even when the restaurant was busy. Overall, Pho Filet 2 is a great casual spot for authentic Vietnamese comfort food.”
“I was recently in the area for a vacation weekend. My son and I stopped in for a pastry and were BLOWN AWAY by the freshness and taste of the food. We also got a croissant sandwich...and WOW!!!!! The ladies were super nice and quick service. They beat out my local bakery, hands down!”
“They had pretty short hours focused around lunch time, so I had trouble making it here before they closed for the day. I was finally able to stop by during the week after a doctor's appointment maybe 30 min before their 3 pm closing time and pick several different onigiris that were not yet sold out for the day.
We went big and ordered several to go:
* 3x Karaage wrapped in Dashi Shiitake Gohan (Japanese Fried Chicken in Shiitake Dashi Rice) - $4.50 each
* 2x Spam Onigiri (Grilled Spam with Tare Sauce) - $3.25 each
*1x Tuna Mayo (Cooked Light Tuna mixed with Japanese Mayo) - $3.75
* 5x Grilled Salmon with Shiso Leaf - $4.25 each
* 1x Mentaiko Mayo with Tamago (Mentaiko mixed with Japanese Mayo with Japanese Egg Omelette) - $4.60
* 3x Buta Kakuni (Slow Braised Pork Belly) - $4.50 each
I personally liked the karaage, spam, salmon, and pork belly. BF enjoyed the karaage and salmon the most. They have more on the menu that we wanted to try next time, so hopefully we make it early enough before they sell out!
There's parking in the plaza, but it can be a little hard finding a spot since there's not too many spots. The other challenge is getting out, as there's only one entrance to get in and out of off Walnut Grove Ave, so if you need to head north, good luck getting out and beating opposing traffic.”
“I will leave a very honest review here. The owners are extremely generous and this is the most authentic Chengdu / Szechuan food I’ve ever had. Do not be fooled by other restaurants fancy decor, some other restaurant tastes are bland and not authentic. If you want great portions, AUTHENTIC tasting Szechuan food, come here ASAP. I highly recommend the 辣子鸡 (spicy crispy chicken) sometimes regarded as the best in SGV. You can also ask the owners for off menu items to surprise your taste buds if you’re down for a flavor adventure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
“I enjoyed the dim sum at this restaurant and didn't have to wait that long to be seated.
They don't use as much oil in their food, which was great. The food didn't make me feel bloated like other dim sum restaurants either. Two items that really stood out were the truffle siu mai and chicken feet. The truffle makes the flavor pop. The chicken feet wasn't rubbery like other places; it was tender. I liked everything I ordered on the menu. I wish they would actually serve chili in the chili oil. A lot of places have been only giving the oil without the chili, unfortunately.
The customer service was good. The staff are attentive.
The venue is nice; they have chair covers and it looks like you can have wedding parties and other events here.
The dim sum dishes cost a bit more than other places, but they are also a little bigger in size and the quality is better. I have no complaints besides the tea pot being full and spilling all over the table each time we poured the tea.
There's a parking lot but it can get packed where you'll have to wait around for a parking spot to open up.”
“the best food I've had in LA is also the cheapest. thank goodness for this lovely couple. They have made-to-order plates and choose-your-items buffet. Probably the most amount of food you'd ever get for the price (buffet). I feel like I'm getting closer to Taiwan! :)
pork (belly?) and curry chicken were amazing!
if this kind of place doesn't exist in San Jose / south SF Bay / Santa Cruz, then I'm not going!”

“Uncle Tetsu has officially made it to the top of my favorite dessert list. If you are looking for treats that are rich in flavor but perfectly balanced (not too sweet!), this is the place to go.
We had…
• Ube Cake: This is the absolute BOMB! It’s incredibly rich and the sweetness level is spot on. It is a must-order for anyone who visits.
• Cookies & Cream: Another top favorite of mine—definitely a crowd-pleaser.
• Matcha Drink: Pairs perfectly with the cakes. It’s a great combo that I highly recommend trying.
I adored everything I tried here. If you haven't been yet, you have to try the Ube cake and the matcha. This is easily my new go-to for a sweet treat!”
“Neighbors Tea House offers the most exception beverages and sweet treats, like their Smashed Avocado and Durian and soy pudding. I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. You can order online to expedite your experience. Be sure to say hi to Hailey, the owner, who always comes up with these amazing beverages. Will definitely be back!”
“I visited JTYH Restaurant for dinner and had a simple but enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant had a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere that felt comfortable and easygoing. It was the kind of place where you can sit down with friends, talk freely, and enjoy a casual meal without any pressure.
We ordered a mix of grilled items, fried dishes, rice plates, and drinks. The food arrived fresh and well-cooked. The flavors were straightforward but satisfying, with decent seasoning and good portion sizes. Nothing felt overly complicated, but everything was solid and filling.
The service was polite and efficient. Orders were handled smoothly, and the staff made sure we got everything on time without delays.
Overall, JTYH Restaurant is a decent option for a casual dinner if you’re looking for simple comfort food in a relaxed setting.”
“I came during a time when they weren't busy. They tended to me immediately and the order came out fairly quick. I am a big Vietnamese guy and have high expectations usually for pho and in my opinion the chicken pho was fair. However what is crazy is that thr large size is huge. It can feed potentially 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child.”
“First time having lunch here and was happy with the food and service. Their lunch specials are a great low price option as well. I had the turkey burger and fries. Can’t say I’ve had many turkey burgers in my past to compare this one to, but I can say I enjoyed mine. The meat was juicy and was pretty tasty. The fries were nice and crisp which I prefer as well, so all good. My co-workers seemed to enjoy their meals as well so all good. Price was the surprise. A lot of great options on their $10 lunch menu which will have me coming back to try a few more. Considering there was only one server and a manager, they managed to keep up with service and our water glasses full.”

“Valley Super Burgers × El Sazón Mexican Eats
📍 Rosemead, CA
If you’re walking down Valley Blvd and craving real comfort food, this spot deserves a stop.
The burgers are genuinely delicious — juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. You can taste that this place has history behind it. On top of that, the addition of El Sazón Mexican Eats brings solid, authentic Mexican flavors into the mix, making it a unique neighborhood fusion that offers something for everyone.
It’s clear that these two businesses have come together under one roof, and that kind of transition isn’t easy. You can feel that the food is already dialed in, while the front-of-house experience is still finding its rhythm. A little more warmth and friendliness from the staff would go a long way in matching the quality of the food — which is already there.
Overall, this feels like a long-standing local spot evolving into its next chapter. If you’re someone who loves supporting small, family-run businesses with good food and deep roots in the community, this is worth checking out and revisiting as it continues to grow.”
“Came here to get Dinner for Myself by Redeeming My Reward for a Free Pollo Bowl! I was willing to give them another chance based on their Customer Service, HOWEVER, IT NEVER CEASED TO AMAZE ME! I REFUSE TO COME BACK HERE OR TO ANY OF THEIR OTHER LOCATIONS, UNTIL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE CHANGES! 😡”

“Staff was absolutely helpful and kind! The Decor and table set ups looked beautiful and family friendly. We ordered the Chow Fun with Veggies and the House Special Prawns. Chow fun was perfect! When I say it was the best prawns I’ve ever had, it was the best prawns I’ve ever had. They have something special here and I would recommend 10/10.”

“We always enjoy a meal from Panda Express when we visit the USA — it’s fresh, consistent, and a great break from the usual American food options. I also love that the pricing stays the same all day, which makes it a reliable choice when you’re travelling on a budget.
This visit introduced us to the Teriyaki Salmon, and wow… it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and such a great way to add a little seafood to our usual favourites. The team mentioned it was a limited‑time seasonal item, so we made the most of it while we could.
This particular stop was especially relaxing thanks to the lovely outdoor seating area. It was quiet, clean, and a great spot to enjoy an early dinner. Parking was easy, service was friendly, and the food was — as always — fresh and flavourful. We grabbed a drink and shared a large box, which was perfect for the two of us.
Another win for Panda Express, and a reminder why it stays firmly in our Top 10 favourite USA traveller eats.

“As a Vietnamese person, che is something that reminds you of childhood. Dont get me wrong though, there was no nostalgia in assessing how amazing the che’s were. My wife who is not Vietnamese also was incredibly happy.
We bought the special and the avocado Che. I literally couldn’t have been happier. We got it to go and they gave us ice with them to fill later. The ice is perfect size for the Che.
The palm sugar cake has great chewiness and is not too sweet, also for the price it can’t be beat. If you are into the chewiness of mochi, then this will be enjoyable for you as well!”
