“Had a yummy dinner with great service in a lovely setting. We love the hot and sour soup here and the lemon yuzu scallops are my absolute favorite! Love the beef rolls and the cauliflower dish too. Truffle xiao long bao are so fragrant and yummy! Everything is always delicious. The sticky rice drinks are so good too! One of my fav toppings anywhere! Always a delicious meal.”

“My wife and I are huge hot pot enthusiasts. We’ve tried basically all the most authentic hot pot restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, and this place has never disappointed us. The environment is clean, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the sauce station is very well stocked. That’s probably why they’ve stayed strong for many years. ““Oh wow” the first words that I could come up with when my wife asked me how the food was.
We ordered: Japanese ceviche, Y-not roll, Salmon roll, California roll, yellowtail sushi and halibut sushi.
Everything was absolutely fantastic, fresh and full of flavor.
I highly recommend the yellowtail sushi if you want raw sushi
I recommend the y-not roll if you want a specialty roll, it is a little spicy so beware.
If you want to try something new we recommend the Japanese ceviche, it has the perfect mix of sweet and salty.
Overall you could tell the fish are fresh and not old mush, and even the plating of every dish was admirable.
The service is also fantastic, we were checked on regularly by our servers, had all of our questions answered and even got solid recommendations.
This place is definitely worth traveling for, decent prices too!”

“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.

My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.

Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.

There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.

-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff”

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩”

“This is a diner that apparently has been here for decades. A family owned restaurant for the local community. This place is the go to especially after playing golf at Whittier Narrows down the street.

My son loves this place, his go to is always the club sandwich fries included. My personal favorite is the patty melt with fries. For appetizers we love the onion rings. A heads up, if you order a large fries that's exactly what you get. Not the typical small serving but a mound of fries to share for the whole table.

It's a no frills local joint where they have regulars that always come in. These mom and pop places are what makes this country what it is, not the cookie cutter chain restaurants. Always support your local businesses.”

“Neighbors Tea House offers the most exception beverages and sweet treats, like their Smashed Avocado and Durian and soy pudding. I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. You can order online to expedite your experience. Be sure to say hi to Hailey, the owner, who always comes up with these amazing beverages. Will definitely be back!”

Chutoro nigiri - Fresh, generous cut. Definitely a bit pricey but that’s to be expected of chutoro cut. It was so good we did 2 orders!
Tuna roll - Very good too, generous with tuna filling
Deluxe uni pasta - Wow, very creamy and uni-y. It does get very rich so recommend 2 people sharing. I was fully almost halfway into the dish because of how rich and creamy it was.

Service is pretty quick and ambiance can get pretty loud. We came on Friday night and there was a big party at a different table so it did get loud but thankfully we still got seated immediately. Will return again.”

We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though!

Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp.

“Delicious food and great service! I grew up eating Peking Duck in Hong Kong and this restaurant certainly didn’t disappoint. Peking duck is a bit pricey at $95 but it lives up to its hype. Extra pancakes would cost $7 btw.

We also ordered the hot and spicy cabbage, scallops, and fried rice and everything was delicious. It was packed on a Sunday night and the ducks do sell out so make sure to reserve beforehand!”

I got a mango green tea 75% sweet with reg ice and rainbow jelly, could have done 50% but loved the drink. Usually hate when I can’t taste the tea for flavored teas but it was perfect today.”

“My new go to place for banh mi! They're open until pretty late for a banh mi place, which I appreciated when I needed to grab some sandwiches at 8:30 pm for a late dinner.

They offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread banh mi. One is $6.25 so when you order two and get one free, it comes out to be about $4 each. The sandwiches I've gotten so far (grilled pork and grilled beef) are the most stuffed I've seen in a round banh mi!

I couldn't leave without trying their egg rolls and pate chaud. They're $1.30 each or 3 pieces for $3.75. Solid egg rolls and pate chaud.

Parking in this supermarket plaza can be a little crazy. Park towards the side to avoid the traffic.”

I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.

I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.

• Cookies & Cream: Another top favorite of mine—definitely a crowd-pleaser.

• Matcha Drink: Pairs perfectly with the cakes. It’s a great combo that I highly recommend trying.

I adored everything I tried here. If you haven't been yet, you have to try the Ube cake and the matcha. This is easily my new go-to for a sweet treat!”

“Recently discovered a new Chinese restaurant, Spring Dumplings, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it is!
The food quality is excellent—not necessarily the very best Chinese food I’ve had, but for the price, I think most people will find it more than satisfying. We ordered the Leek Pocket, Fried Sauce Noodle, Mixed Sauce Noodle with Scallion Oil & Wonton Combo, Pan-Fried Leek with Pork Dumplings, and Pan-Fried Bok Choy with Pork Dumplings. Everything came out to about $70, which I think is a great value for a family meal.

The noodles are on the softer side and not as chewy as some other places, but I actually found them quite delicious. My boys loved the scallion noodles and dumplings, while my wife really enjoyed the leek pocket and wonton soup.

Overall, I highly recommend Spring Dumplings if you’re looking for affordable, comforting Chinese food that doesn’t break the bank. Definitely worth checking out!”

“Another affordable spot I tried was Lee Fu Ji. It’s a small cash-only place, but the auntie running it is extremely friendly and welcoming.
We ordered the xiao long bao, pan-fried buns, leek pockets, and pot stickers, and everything was under $10, which is hard to beat these days. The only dish that was just okay was the xiao long bao. The soup inside had mostly leaked out, probably because the skin was a bit too thin.
However, all the pan-fried items were awesome—really great flavor and nicely cooked. My two boys loved them so much that they already told me we have to come back and buy them again next time.”

“Absolutely amazing food we had a variety of beef swarma, chicken and beef kabobs with rice, Taziki salad and the TLK plate. All of the meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned amazingly and everything tasted so fresh . Hats off to the chef for amazing dishes that were plated beautifully and served quickly.
Sandra our waitress was so nice and such a delight, so sweet to our 8 and 9 year old sons.she is such a hard worker literally running to make sure everyone’s needs were met. One of the most kindest waitresses we have ever had! We are from Glendora and will definitely be back!! Thank you!!”

“Stopped by because they were on the SGV passport and got a watermelon drink and milk tea. Unfortunately no regular boba at opening, but they did have the crystal boba as substitute. I really liked the watermelon one as it was quite refreshing on a hot day and even had some fresh mint in it. The milk tea was enjoyable too. Prices are decent and the staff was friendly, so I'd come back again”

“I love their famous marble coffee, but I recommend only getting 30% sweet as it is very sweet. Also, I recommend easy ice as they could get watered down pretty quickly. Coffee quality is amazing. Highly recommend it.”

“Apparently This is the SPOT for Thai tea. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. Service was amazing and I got their large green Thai tea and added jiggly soft grass jelly to it. New butterfly pea milk tea which comes with basil seeds and added some silky pudding to it. And refreshing Thai tea slush that came with some creamy cheese foam. All the drinks were perfectly sweet, warmly spiced, and pretty much just tasted like your good old classic Thai teas. Overall this place was lowkey pretty good.
