“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩”
“Service was fast, friendly and very helpfull....food was also great by the way. I came on a weekend and it was very busy and had to wait but still was well worth it.”
“This is my favorite place to get cookies from! Every visit is a great experience, the cookies are always fresh, delicious, and consistently hit the spot. On top of that, the customer service is always amazing. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel valued every time you walk in. It’s definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet!”

“My wife and I are huge hot pot enthusiasts. We’ve tried basically all the most authentic hot pot restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, and this place has never disappointed us. The environment is clean, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the sauce station is very well stocked. That’s probably why they’ve stayed strong for many years. We come back every once in a while!”
“Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had! I ordered the beef lulu and filet mignon plate. The filet mignon was more tender than I’ve had at $100 streakhouses and the beef lulu was seasoned to perfection. Everything from the tomato and cucumber salad to the hummus was extremely fresh!
On top of that, the lady who works the counter is extremely friendly and made sure I felt at home even though I showed up near closing time.
I’ve found my new go-to Mediterranean spot.”

“Had a yummy dinner with great service in a lovely setting. We love the hot and sour soup here and the lemon yuzu scallops are my absolute favorite! Love the beef rolls and the cauliflower dish too. Truffle xiao long bao are so fragrant and yummy! Everything is always delicious. The sticky rice drinks are so good too! One of my fav toppings anywhere! Always a delicious meal.”

“The banh xeo is top notch here. Both the shrimp and fish ones are great! It's so crispy and comes with lots of fresh veggies. Its even crispy and perfect when I get take out! A little pricey but it's a good portion. There is a $1 credit card fee so bring cash. I love this place so much, if only they opened for dinner!”
“Went in late at night on Sunday 7/13. Dominic was front cashier. Straight up and serious, not in a bad way but a “Get the job done” typa guy. Only downside was they had powered off the shake machine early so no shakes available. Other than that, they had everything else available! Solid location.”
“My FAVORITE acai place! Perfect for lunch on a hot day! So yummy, healthy, and pretty! I love that they have a low sugar acai too and both matcha and original chia pudding! Lots of great toppings! I usually pre order via app and pick up but wanted to use my free ones so ordered in store! Check out the assembly! So cool. Edna has mad knife skills! Service is always excellent! — at Acai Joint Rosemead.”
“Sooo good! The garlic edamame was outstanding! I always order an eel avocado roll and this was one of the best I’ve had. Stopped in for an early dinner while working in the area. Service was prompt and friendly. Ambience was charming. But go for the food!”
“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.
My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.
Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.
There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.
If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff”

“Mountain Mike's never misses! The ingredients always taste fresh, the service is warm and friendly, and the pizza is delicious every single time. You can really taste the difference in quality and crust compared to other places. The kids love it too, which makes it an easy win for the whole family. Easily my go-to spot for a great pie. Highly recommend!”
“Feels like a completely different place what once was a Carol's is now a peaceful friendly Danny's this spot is my new favorite super close to where I live. My family enjoyed the meals and they were cooked too perfection. No disappointments here. We're all going to this Danny's from now on.”
“Came here getting baguettes before leaving out of town, got here at 6am and the bread is definitely hot. I always come here in the morning and grab there baguettes because their baguettes won’t get harden through the days.
Service here is very good absolutely attentive, nice and friendly.
Atmosphere they have outside sitting and inside eating as well, you can come as a group sit and eat.”
“This is a diner that apparently has been here for decades. A family owned restaurant for the local community. This place is the go to especially after playing golf at Whittier Narrows down the street.
My son loves this place, his go to is always the club sandwich fries included. My personal favorite is the patty melt with fries. For appetizers we love the onion rings. A heads up, if you order a large fries that's exactly what you get. Not the typical small serving but a mound of fries to share for the whole table.
It's a no frills local joint where they have regulars that always come in. These mom and pop places are what makes this country what it is, not the cookie cutter chain restaurants. Always support your local businesses.”
“I haven't been in a olive garden for the longest time, but I have to say that I had a great experience, our server Gabriel was amazing, food came good and fast, after we paid our check the manager greed us and made sure we're satisfied, strongly recommend this olive garden.”
“If you're looking for a true authentic Peking duck in LA, Ji Rong in Rosemead is easily one of the best spots around. I came here with a group of friends ( 6 People) and the vibe is super casual, unpretentious, and perfect for a family dinner or a big feast with friends.
The Peking duck itself is incredible. The skin is shatteringly crispy and perfectly rendered so it isn’t greasy at all, and the meat stays seriously juicy. Wrapping it up in those thin, translucent pancakes with the fresh cucumbers, scallions, and that rich sweet bean sauce is easily the highlight of the night. Reminder to definitely pay the a little extra to have them turn the rest of the duck skeleton into the duck bone soup at the end. It's incredibly comforting and satisfying and it’s something you definitely want to try.
Aside from the duck, we ordered a few other dishes on the menu to share. The hand-grabbed pancake is a must-order—it's super flaky, layered, and delicious. We also tried their cold noodles with the sesame mustard sauce, which was a really refreshing contrast to the rich duck.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 comes down to the logistics. This isn't a place where you can just walk in on a whim and order a duck. Because of the traditional prep work, you absolutely have to call ahead to reserve your duck. (ideally a day in advance). We called two days in advance and it was prepared and reserved for us. Also, if you go during peak weekend hours, the service can get a bit frantic and chaotic because the place gets packed. But if you plan ahead, the food is completely worth the experience. The service was great. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is not the most modern but like I mentioned, it’s a casual place for families or small groups to go and enjoy.”
“the decor of the style presented as the restaurant is welcoming and inviting which was why my family who frequents this restaurant often with her friends recommended this place to me too”
“The Lobster Roll is excellent. The bun is deep-fried, which gives it a great rich flavor and crispy texture, pairing perfectly with the fresh, generous lobster meat. Another standout is the Tofu Pudding—it has a very unique, rich aroma and is incredibly smooth.
The ingredients are fresh, the service is genuinely friendly, and the place is clean. Great quality for the price. I'll definitely be back!”

“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.”
“In our special dinner for fresh graduated and friends, Sea Harbor Seafood restaurant presents authentic Cantonese/Hong Kong style dishes. I like their barbecue combo , walnut shrimp, steamed fish and Typhoon shelter style crab. I have been curious why called it Typhoon shelter? If anyone knows please let me know. Dessert is and always is red bean tangshui with tiny boba balls. I gave 4 Star rating on service and atmosphere. Service has no interaction, because in service industry , one can't assume patrons knows about Chinese food. Atmosphere is plain and the outside of the restaurant seemed have been unchanged for a long time. Need to get fengshui going! :)”
“What a gem! Came here for dinner on Friday night and food is great!
Chutoro nigiri - Fresh, generous cut. Definitely a bit pricey but that’s to be expected of chutoro cut. It was so good we did 2 orders!
Tuna roll - Very good too, generous with tuna filling
Deluxe uni pasta - Wow, very creamy and uni-y. It does get very rich so recommend 2 people sharing. I was fully almost halfway into the dish because of how rich and creamy it was.
Service is pretty quick and ambiance can get pretty loud. We came on Friday night and there was a big party at a different table so it did get loud but thankfully we still got seated immediately. Will return again.”
“This is my go-to spot for fried skewers and late-night eating. Beyond the skewers, the restaurant serves a range of Northeastern Chinese specialties, including bean curd of the sort sold by street vendors to schoolchildren in China, along with cold noodles and other familiar staples. The menu is notably broad, whether you want stir-fries with rice or smaller dishes to share. Seasonal changes keep it from growing stale, with new items appearing often enough to reward repeat visits.”
“This place is such a hole in the wall, would honestly come back. This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden. The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! Don’t let the small shop and sketchy look deceive you!”
“Years ago my mom randomly came to this store after a gig in the area, and she was shocked by how good it was.
We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though!
Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp.
Unassuming interior, delicious meal.”
“We tried their special which is lobster veggie fried rice, but instead of using regular rice, they use sticky rice, most likely Japanese sticky rice. We also tried fried seafood with chili, but a little disappointed since it was not spicy at all. Had to ask for chili oil. Both tasted good. They were good size portion.
Service is satisfactory; servers were helpful, polite, and friendly.
The place is big and clean with nice decors including TV the size of my whole living room.”
“Very nice chinese restaurant at rosemad area. It seems pretty well known restaurant as it was very busy when we arrived. We were not purposely looking for this but found it when we search for restaurant near by.
The restaurant is not that large but has plenty tables. The interior was simple
There are plenty item on the menu and we ordered Spicy premium beef noodle soup, Tan Tan noodle, popcorn chicken, Xiao Long Bao and ice lemon tea. The order was prepared quickly and the food was ready pretty quick.
All the food are yummy. The spicy noodle soup was spicy but not was yummy. Popcorn chicken was good along with Tan Tan noodle and XLB.
The one that surprise me is the size of the ice lemon tea glass. it is the largest portion of ice lemon tea that I have seen at restaurants.
Price is reasonable and we left with some left over.
The staff and service was good and the staff was friendly.
Parking could be a challenge at this area.”

“Good old fashioned type of McDonald's. Thank goodness they haven't went to to self-service. I like seeing people in the friendly staff. Kenny is awesome! The best frappes ever and chicken nuggets and fries. There's not too many food service. Both locations in Monterey Park, East LA college and Atlantic and Beverly East LA have no staff members. It's all machines. Do not like it. I miss the old Mickey D's. I will be coming here to you”
“The restaurant has some pretty authentic Chinese food and style. We had a big room with 20+ people, and they accommodated well. The mushroom dishes were incredible, but the sweat bean soup was not as well received, as it tasted kind of watery and sugary.”
“Service was fast, friendly and very helpfull....food was also great by the way. I came on a weekend and it was very busy and had to wait but still was well worth it.”

“Their food is amazing. It’s so delicious!!Everything I tried has not disappointed me.Their fries and wings had so much flavor and were crispy. The pho soup was just perfect that you didn’t even have to add anything else to give it flavor so you can enjoy it just like that.”
“My new go to place for banh mi! They're open until pretty late for a banh mi place, which I appreciated when I needed to grab some sandwiches at 8:30 pm for a late dinner.
They offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread banh mi. One is $6.25 so when you order two and get one free, it comes out to be about $4 each. The sandwiches I've gotten so far (grilled pork and grilled beef) are the most stuffed I've seen in a round banh mi!
I couldn't leave without trying their egg rolls and pate chaud. They're $1.30 each or 3 pieces for $3.75. Solid egg rolls and pate chaud.
Parking in this supermarket plaza can be a little crazy. Park towards the side to avoid the traffic.”
“Absolutely delicious! The Sichuan dishes were authentic, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish was fresh, and the portions were generous. The service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly, and the overall experience was excellent. If you're looking for authentic Sichuan food with great service, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Pho Filet 2 is a solid Vietnamese spot in the San Gabriel Valley if you’re craving a comforting bowl of pho. The restaurant has a casual, no-frills atmosphere where locals come for quick and satisfying meals.
I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.
I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.
Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly even when the restaurant was busy. Overall, Pho Filet 2 is a great casual spot for authentic Vietnamese comfort food.”

“Here the portions are very generous and the donuts are absolutely delicious. I initially ordered two, but they were so tasty and fresh that I couldn’t resist asking for a third one. The place is clean, cozy, and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. I highly recommend it to everyone who appreciates good food and friendly service.”
“I came during a time when they weren't busy. They tended to me immediately and the order came out fairly quick. I am a big Vietnamese guy and have high expectations usually for pho and in my opinion the chicken pho was fair. However what is crazy is that thr large size is huge. It can feed potentially 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child.”
“Great place to dine at for authentic Cantonese food. Rice rolls were wonderful and at a bargain price! Overall food and service was nice and very comforting. Ingredients tasted fresh and wasn’t overly salted (just how I prefer). Will come back again to try different rice roll options.”
“Wednesday 7/22/26 Lunch at Bloomington VIP Restaurant with my friend Benny. Enjoying dim sum and promotional dishes like lobster with menu and roasted doves.
The service staffs were attentive and worked quickly to serve customers. The restaurant is set up with elegant decor and well lit.

Cheap Eats
“Uncle Tetsu has officially made it to the top of my favorite dessert list. If you are looking for treats that are rich in flavor but perfectly balanced (not too sweet!), this is the place to go.
We had…
• Ube Cake: This is the absolute BOMB! It’s incredibly rich and the sweetness level is spot on. It is a must-order for anyone who visits.
• Cookies & Cream: Another top favorite of mine—definitely a crowd-pleaser.
• Matcha Drink: Pairs perfectly with the cakes. It’s a great combo that I highly recommend trying.
I adored everything I tried here. If you haven't been yet, you have to try the Ube cake and the matcha. This is easily my new go-to for a sweet treat!”
“Neighbors Tea House offers the most exception beverages and sweet treats, like their Smashed Avocado and Durian and soy pudding. I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. You can order online to expedite your experience. Be sure to say hi to Hailey, the owner, who always comes up with these amazing beverages. Will definitely be back!”
“the best food I've had in LA is also the cheapest. thank goodness for this lovely couple. They have made-to-order plates and choose-your-items buffet. Probably the most amount of food you'd ever get for the price (buffet). I feel like I'm getting closer to Taiwan! :)
pork (belly?) and curry chicken were amazing!
if this kind of place doesn't exist in San Jose / south SF Bay / Santa Cruz, then I'm not going!”
“Best of rosemead😇 Fresh and Healthy”
“Came here to get Dinner for Myself by Redeeming My Reward for a Free Pollo Bowl! I was willing to give them another chance based on their Customer Service, HOWEVER, IT NEVER CEASED TO AMAZE ME! I REFUSE TO COME BACK HERE OR TO ANY OF THEIR OTHER LOCATIONS, UNTIL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE CHANGES! 😡”
“First time having lunch here and was happy with the food and service. Their lunch specials are a great low price option as well. I had the turkey burger and fries. Can’t say I’ve had many turkey burgers in my past to compare this one to, but I can say I enjoyed mine. The meat was juicy and was pretty tasty. The fries were nice and crisp which I prefer as well, so all good. My co-workers seemed to enjoy their meals as well so all good. Price was the surprise. A lot of great options on their $10 lunch menu which will have me coming back to try a few more. Considering there was only one server and a manager, they managed to keep up with service and our water glasses full.”
“I went for my first time Monday June 22. I was overwhelmed of visiting my usual spots. I had this place saved for a while from social media from a guy who made an amazing review on it. One of my favorite food content creators “ grubwithgreg” I saved this place & was eager to eventually visit. The time finally came. I ordered a XL Big E fries w/both & a Double Big E burger. Absolutely amazing. I was helped by cashier “ Chris” he gave me suggestions and told me which one was recommended so i went wit those two options I ordered. No complains. I was just a bit disappointed cause cashier said it had bacon but it didn’t unfortunately. I definitely would get it again just with less teriyaki sauce on my burger besides that. No complains. Plenty of parking, they had multiple TVs to share the FIFA World Cup experience while we wait for our order. This place deserves recognition ! Wish this place nothing but success!”
“Mushroom and chicken casserole is SO GOOD!!! It’s an interesting place. Feels like someone’s dining room. The servers are not very attentive but that’s ok the food was awesome”

“Staff was absolutely helpful and kind! The Decor and table set ups looked beautiful and family friendly. We ordered the Chow Fun with Veggies and the House Special Prawns. Chow fun was perfect! When I say it was the best prawns I’ve ever had, it was the best prawns I’ve ever had. They have something special here and I would recommend 10/10.”

“We always enjoy a meal from Panda Express when we visit the USA — it’s fresh, consistent, and a great break from the usual American food options. I also love that the pricing stays the same all day, which makes it a reliable choice when you’re travelling on a budget.
This visit introduced us to the Teriyaki Salmon, and wow… it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and such a great way to add a little seafood to our usual favourites. The team mentioned it was a limited‑time seasonal item, so we made the most of it while we could.
This particular stop was especially relaxing thanks to the lovely outdoor seating area. It was quiet, clean, and a great spot to enjoy an early dinner. Parking was easy, service was friendly, and the food was — as always — fresh and flavourful. We grabbed a drink and shared a large box, which was perfect for the two of us.
Another win for Panda Express, and a reminder why it stays firmly in our Top 10 favourite USA traveller eats.

“I went for a walk in my neighborhood and I stopped in because I saw on another day a long line going into this coffee spot. And glad I did!
the spcialy flavored coffees and Crescent sandwiches. Quick service with a smile and helpful attitude for us first time exposed to Vietnamese flavors. Going back to try a different brew. Highly recommended.”
