We stumbled upon this little bakery after having lunch next door. I noticed the display case had rows of colorful baos on display, and that was enough to get my curiosity. Inside is small. There are no seats, have mostly packaged foods and whatever is inside the glass case. Our first time, we tried their taro, custard and mung bean baos. One of the best baos I've had! Was about to get quick lunch next door but then decided to get a pork bun instead. The store is small but there were so many sweet and savory buns along with other Asian goodies. The owner was very friendly and gave me fresh ones - the perfectly seasoned meat and egg combined with the warm soft bun was simply delicious. Hands down one of the best baos I've tried!! My favorite is their jumbo pork bao. The bao is so fluffy and nicely sweetened on the outside and the inside is filled with pork, sausage, and egg that are perfectly seasoned with a mix of savory/umami and slight sweetness. Because the bao is pretty big and they put in a generous amount of meat inside, I think this could be a substantial snack when you're pretty hungry or even a good light meal.
