“Stopped by because they were on the SGV passport and got a watermelon drink and milk tea. Unfortunately no regular boba at opening, but they did have the crystal boba as substitute. I really liked the watermelon one as it was quite refreshing on a hot day and even had some fresh mint in it. The milk tea was enjoyable too. Prices are decent and the staff was friendly, so I'd come back again“

“Neighbors Tea House offers the most exception beverages and sweet treats, like their Smashed Avocado and Durian and soy pudding. I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. “Apparently This is the SPOT for Thai tea. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. Service was amazing and I got their large green Thai tea and added jiggly soft grass jelly to it. New butterfly pea milk tea which comes with basil seeds and added some silky pudding to it. And refreshing Thai tea slush that came with some creamy cheese foam. All the drinks were perfectly sweet, warmly spiced, and pretty much just tasted like your good old classic Thai teas. Overall this place was lowkey pretty good.

“I was doing a happy return nearby, and Ulta ran out of boxes to do returns and it’s over 100 degrees out today. So gotcha tea is right next door, and it was empty but clean and well air conditioned. The staff was quick with making my drink. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten tea here but honestly a great place if you just want a quick sweet treat. I got a mango green tea 75% sweet with reg ice and rainbow jelly, could have done 50% but loved the drink. Usually hate when I can’t taste the tea for flavored teas but it was perfect today.“

“Had a Taro Milk Tea. Satisfies a craving and not too bad for the price. Have been here years so familiar with the drinks and they won't be a must have. Just moreso convenient and accessible. Keep in mind they prefer cash, using credit requires a $.50 charge.

“This is hands down one of the best Hunan (Xiang) restaurants in Los Angeles — a true hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for many years, and every time I bring friends, they all end up loving it too.

The flavors are super authentic and full of that classic Hunan spice. Their bullfrog dish is amazing, the stir-fried duck is so flavorful, and even simple dishes like tomato & egg are done perfectly and taste just like home.

“Surprisingly spacious inside! They do have a rear lot, but street parking is probably your best bet. It’s definitely more of a social hangout than a quiet study spot, but the layout works well. “With plenty of bakeries around SGV, I had to try Oh My Pan as I've heard some good qualities about their shop. Parking here is small to moderate as it's shared with other shops. Pretty small lot but there's underground as well, could be a bit compact but street parking is also accessible.

At first glance, this is a pretty sizeable bakery. A decent amount of tables as well since it's a cafe combo. Cakes, bread, drinks are all accessible and the drinks are fairly good for the cheaper price compared to the standard boba shops.

Breads here are restocked fairly often and from the baskets, there's plenty of unique options of breads that aren't seen in other bakeries. One that caught my eye was the boba bread and the matcha swirl bread. Both are fairly delicious but I would say it's a acquired taste. Definitely a try it once type of bread and have a verdict afterwards.

My partner and ordered a couple of the breads to try which include the signature pineapple breads, matcha, sausages, and some sweeter bread as well. All were pretty soft, fresh, and cheaper compared to other bakeries. We also ordered two drinks, the Orchid Milk Tea & the Light Oolong Milk Tea.
Both were pretty refreshing but nothing over the top as it's cheaper than the usual shops.

Overall, a nice spacious bakery/cafe combo that's good for doing some work, a small bite, or drinks for affordable price. They also have cakes so that's definitely an option whenever I have a birthday to consider.“

“I had a Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea with no ice and level 1 (of 5) sweetness. I really enjoy freshly brewed milk tea (freshly brewed after order is placed) compared to milk tea prepared with tea that was brewed well in advance, had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long, and used only after the order is placed. Great wifing/study or working on laptop cafe during the day! 3 Wide Tables with outlet/plug access nearby. 1 restroom, key needed. Staff is nice. AC is not working as well when we visited, they had a fan. Most ppl seem to grab takeout on a Saturday noon to late afternoon.

Braised Pork Minced Meat Rice in a Cup. Hefty and kind carboload. But taste is decent. For a cafe, it's a quick cheap heft meal while wifing (working on the laptop here).

$14 Rice plates like popcorn chicken, pork chop, pork belly, etc. Popcorn chicken was decent too. It came with rice, veggies (stir fry cabbage), spicy seaweed tofu soup“

“El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

“I randomly stopped here last night, I never noticed place. Thank God, I got a house tea, (bomb)that already set up good vibes for my food. Chicken Chow Mein, and shrimp Fred rice.both good but chow mein was delicious tasted fresh flavorful I really enjoyed it my lil ones loved it. The woman in the counter was excellent she had such a beautiful persona they could have turned me away since it was close to closing , I took it to go. “This is the place you want to go to if you want a boba. There’s So many options. Although, there is many options , I always get the same thing lol. I’ve been going there since 2017!
All the girls that work there are AMAZING and lovely !!! Alyssa is sincerely the best! As soon as she sees me walk in , she knows my order and is already making my order lol. The other girls know what I like as well lol. Now for the two guys that work there , they are honestly rude from time to time ,not always friendly nor welcoming. I feel a huge tension when they are there. The girls are what makes that place feel warm and nice and enjoyable. They deserve extra tips and a raise! 🖤🫶🏼🖤“

“ICI Tea Drinks is a unique drinks shop, mostly containing fruit type drinks, very popular especially on hotter days.

They also have milk tea options but not as much variety as their signature fruit drinks. Ordering here is pretty simple, either on a self ordering kiosks or with a cashier.

Parking here can be tough because of a shared plaza with plentiful of popular shops, street parking is accessible and an underground parking lot as well, all free parking.

Lot the variety of options here, it's pretty much endless. As stated, ICI Tea is majority fruit teas and my wife and I decided on two drinks.

1. Quarter Pound Mango ($7.50)
Great drink option, if you like mango sago drinks, this is very similar, maybe even better. Mangoes were fresh and this drink is definitely a recommendation on my end. Super refreshing and just can't go wrong with the drink

2. Cheesy Watermelon Smoothie ($7.60)
Usually I don't put cheese atop of my drinks, but I wanted to try it to see how I would feel about it, this drinks is definitely a surprise to me. The drink itself is just a watermelon juice drink with cheese. Mixes pretty well with the watermelon, although you don't really taste the cheese mix until later (or swirl it a good amount.) I would recommend this drink if you're feeling creative, very delicious.

Overall, a wonderful drinks shop, it's a nice change of pace from my usual milk tea based drinks and ICI Tea didn't disappoint at all. Might be one of my favorite drinks shops around with their high quality drinks, fresh fruits, and fast service. Highly recommend joining their points program if you visit often.“

“This is such a great drink/dessert spot! The drinks here are unique and have great flavors with real fruit, taro, yucca, or special seasonal fruit. We loved the papaya coconut slushy with jelly and fresh papaya. The Dubai cracking chocolate with the pistachio slush is so fun to crack and a perfect sweet treat. The mango pomelo sago was fruity and creamy and taro mochi milk tea had good tea flavor. The homemade mashed taro and taro balls and popcorn chicken remind of Taiwan. “The uncaffeinated toasted grain milk tea was phenomenal. Roasted flavor that’s not too deep and pairs well with nunumochi.

I was a bit shocked that the mochi wasn’t solid gel-like but the manager kindly explained that they don’t use preservatives so it’s more of a hybrid between liquid and gel. Whatever it is, I love it. I forgot to mix it so it got a bit sweet towards the end, but will definitely order this again and mix next time!“

My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding.
