Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

“Surprisingly spacious inside! They do have a rear lot, but street parking is probably your best bet. It’s definitely more of a social hangout than a quiet study spot, but the layout works well. Despite the crowd, service was efficient, I had my two drinks in less than 10 minutes. The peach oolong was a pleasant surprise and better than expected.“

“With plenty of bakeries around SGV, I had to try Oh My Pan as I've heard some good qualities about their shop. Parking here is small to moderate as it's shared with other shops. Pretty small lot but there's underground as well, could be a bit compact but street parking is also accessible.

At first glance, this is a pretty sizeable bakery. A decent amount of tables as well since it's a cafe combo. Cakes, bread, drinks are all accessible and the drinks are fairly good for the cheaper price compared to the standard boba shops.

Breads here are restocked fairly often and from the baskets, there's plenty of unique options of breads that aren't seen in other bakeries. One that caught my eye was the boba bread and the matcha swirl bread. Both are fairly delicious but I would say it's a acquired taste. Definitely a try it once type of bread and have a verdict afterwards.

My partner and ordered a couple of the breads to try which include the signature pineapple breads, matcha, sausages, and some sweeter bread as well. All were pretty soft, fresh, and cheaper compared to other bakeries. We also ordered two drinks, the Orchid Milk Tea & the Light Oolong Milk Tea.
Both were pretty refreshing but nothing over the top as it's cheaper than the usual shops.

Overall, a nice spacious bakery/cafe combo that's good for doing some work, a small bite, or drinks for affordable price. They also have cakes so that's definitely an option whenever I have a birthday to consider.“

“Stopped by because they were on the SGV passport and got a watermelon drink and milk tea. Unfortunately no regular boba at opening, but they did have the crystal boba as substitute. My SO had the lycee tea and it is also great! The flavor is much more subdued than the mojito tea but nevertheless delicious. He really loved their popcorn chicken! We got a very large order for the price and he said it’s the BEST popcorn chicken he’s ever had. It’s not heavy with batter like most other places … he’s been eating it nonstop and already finished half the order as I’m writing this review! Definitely worth visiting again!!“

“This is an unassuming shop from the outside, but it really surprised me. There's a good ammount of seating, having both an inside and outside that are both pleasant. We ordered the strawberry slush with boba, large shaved ice, and churros. The churros were filled with a delicious custard. All dishes had super cute presentation and attention to detail. As an example, the Lychee jellies inside slushy were star shaped. Would love to come again and highly reccomend!!“

This fairly new boba spot is located in West Covina, right on the corner of Glendora Ave and E Service Ave. I believe it opened around two years ago, so it still feels pretty fresh and new to the area.

Parking was pretty convenient. There is street parking available, and there is also a small parking lot in the back for the building’s tenants.

🏠 Interior / Atmosphere
The shop itself looks bright, clean, and inviting. It has big shop signs, sofas, and a few cute spots where you can take pictures. From what I heard, they also host K-pop gatherings from time to time, which gives the place a fun and unique vibe.

The staff were friendly, interactive, and easy to talk to. They answered my questions with helpful information and made the experience feel welcoming.

🧋 Drinks
I ordered the Guanyin milk tea, which was recommended to me after I mentioned that I prefer a stronger tea flavor. It was a good recommendation, and I enjoyed that the tea taste came through well. Even though I ordered 100% sugar, the drink did not taste overly sweet, which I appreciated.

Overall, I had a good experience here. I would personally rate this place around a 4.3 to 4.7, but because the staff were so interactive and welcoming with customers, I would give them a 5. Keep it up!!“

I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

“Was recommended Goomo Tea Shop by my wife and it didn't disappoint at all. As we entered, the interior was very modern, a lot of cute & colorful wall designs. A huge plus is the self serve kiosk and their very large menu. My wife and I took a bit to choose our drink options due to the large menu & first time, but since the shop wasn't busy, we took our time and the staff were very friendly about it. We ultimately decided on two options. I love the design of the cup, although common nowadays in some boba shops, It should be the default cup for all shops. Easily saleable drinks

1. Barley Mochi Fresh Milk Tea - Easily one of my favorites, the mochi combo with the barley is for sure a match. The barley in my opinion is an acquired taste, some like it, some don't but in my opinion, the barley in this shop is perfect. Very addicting & good size. I believe this drink can complement other drinks really well.

2. Watermelon Tornado - As someone who loves the tornado type drinks, this is the perfect drink for a hot day. Super refreshing, and the best part is that it's not too sweet. Perfect balance of ingredients to taste the watermelon & the drink itself. (+Pts for using fresh fruits) Highly recommend as one of the plentiful tornado type drinks.

“This is such a great drink/dessert spot! The drinks here are unique and have great flavors with real fruit, taro, yucca, or special seasonal fruit. We loved the papaya coconut slushy with jelly and fresh papaya. The Dubai cracking chocolate with the pistachio slush is so fun to crack and a perfect sweet treat. The mango pomelo sago was fruity and creamy and taro mochi milk tea had good tea flavor. The homemade mashed taro and taro balls and popcorn chicken remind of Taiwan. I ordered through the Hungry Panda app since they had a coupon that made it cheaper or else it would be kind of pricey. I ordered the Cheesy Mango Smoothie with less sweet. They have a small storefront with only two or three tables so it's more of a grab and go boba store.

The drink was ready in around 5 minutes and it was super easy to pick up. I really liked the drink. The blended mango smoothie tasted very fresh and not artificial. And the taste of mango and cheese foam goes so well together. I can see why cheese foam is so popular with fruit smoothies.

My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. “I’ve been coming here for months as my go-to boba shop since it’s close by. You really can’t beat the value here, plus the food is decently good for a quick meal. It gets busy in the afternoons during the school year with high school students, so come early if you plan to do some work at a cafe, and bring noise canceling headphones. They have outlets near the walls for charging. The drinks aren’t overly sweet and they don’t fill up on ice, so I recommend normal sweet/ice for those with a sweet tooth.“

“Whenever I'm in Arcadia, BenGong is one of my go to spots. Their menu is quite extensive and drinks never disappoint.

Parking is plentiful and free which is a nice plus.
Interior is very cute, good amount of tables as I see plenty of people sit and do work on their laptops here. To the right is a wishing tree that's decorated and perfect for photos. There's also a self ordering kiosk which is great when the shop gets busy.

The menu itself is very extensive and very unique. Ranging from brown sugar specials which is one of their signatures to one of my personal favorites, the sparkling series. They also have Yakult, cheese, and fruit series to order. Staff is friendly and quick as our drinks came out withing 5 minutes.

-- Peach Oolong Milk Tea ($6.00) -
Very refreshing drink, peach doesn't overpower the drink as a whole and is just a perfect drink overall. Came in their deco cups which was a plus. Mixed very well with the Oolong Milk Tea, I would recommend this drink for anyone that has trouble deciding what to get. 10/10

-- Strawberry Peach Sparkling Tea ($6.25) --
I was pretty interested in the sparkling series and this one caught my eye the most. It's pretty much as expected, sparkling tea. Similar to a soda feeling, this was a solid refresher on a warm day. Although the taste kind of went away after about an hour, it was still a decent drink to try. Definitely checking the other sparkling drinks out next time I visit. 8/10

One underrated thing about this shop is their different type of cups. Ranging from the standard size cups, to their round cups and their decorated cups. Many drinks come in the smaller round cups so watch out for that if you're expecting a standard cup. Regardless, the cups are well made and super cute and sturdy.

Overall, wonderful shop with cute designs, friendly staff, and high quality drinks. You can't really go wrong with any drink here as they're all super flavorful. Highly recommend giving BenGongs a visit.“

“A new spot in the core of SGV and it's right next to the 99 Ranch Market. Already packed with plenty of other popular tea shops in the same plaza, Guiji Tea takes it to another level. Interior is full of their green/matcha theme. It's very clean and very minimalistic.

A huge plus for having self ordering kiosk machines and a huge space for people to sit down after ordering their drinks. My wife and I visited for one of their promotions for a free sticker set, which included 3 featured drinks BOGO. My personal favorite is the pu-erh milk tea碎銀普洱奶茶. Very refreshing and light. Probably one of the more satisfying drinks to sip on during a hot day. Very much worth it!

Underrated part are their cups. Non spillable, simple design but has 2 variations to differentiate between the same drink. Cute and simple design but unique as well, very easy to hold.

“Apparently This is the SPOT for Thai tea. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. Service was amazing and I got their large green Thai tea and added jiggly soft grass jelly to it. New butterfly pea milk tea which comes with basil seeds and added some silky pudding to it. And refreshing Thai tea slush that came with some creamy cheese foam. All the drinks were perfectly sweet, warmly spiced, and pretty much just tasted like your good old classic Thai teas. Overall this place was lowkey pretty good.

The shop is small with no tables, only benches inside & outside, it could get pretty cramped in the shop since it was pretty busy when we arrived.

It's always nice to have a boba shop that has kiosk ordering & ordering via register. They have plentiful of menu options including specialties in oolong teas. Cups are a huge factor for me when reviewing drink shops and Chun Yang Tea is definitely on the higher quality side of cups. They're sturdy, cute design, and no spills.
