“Was craving for some quick hotpot on a cold day and this place definitely hit the spot I tried their stinky tofu hotpot and it did not disappoint. There's a decent amount of meat in there and other ingredients as well. I wish the broth was a bit stronger in terms of flavor but it was delicious. They have a sauce station where you get to put together your own sauce. Service was friendly and the food didn't take too long to come out. I actually prefer this over boiling point because of the less wait and the food is just as good, if not better.“
“The food and service have improved significantly since we dined in 2 years ago. Everything we ordered, from combination fried rice, sausage rice to joy pot, were excellent and big portions. Milk tea is consistently good and tastes like authentic tea not some fake powdery stuff. Staff were great and food came out quickly. We will visit there more often.“
“It has been our second visit to this location and we've loved all the drinks we've gotten there. We live in NorCal and always make a spot to grab a drink here on the way in to see family in corona ca. I can tell their matcha is great quality and their selections of teas are blend well with the matcha. They have soft served too which is even more fun but hard in a good way when you want a drink and soft served ahah. They didn't have any more boba when we we there and hoping that is always available is small batches until they close so they don't waste it, cause it was yummy the last time we had it. I wish they had bathrooms available for customers for those who want to sit and hang or come far. We drove 5 hours and my baby needed to be changed as we were ordering and we didn't have anywhere to, they told us to go somewhere else, but hoping that maybe have something for paying customers for convenience as I'm sure their employees have a place to use. Parking can be bad on weekends as it's in a plaza with a lot of other yummy food/drink places, but recommend it's worth a spot if you love matcha and good boba tea. The place is small intimate with about 3 tables to sit and hang for a short time. Will still come back for the drinks and soft served!“
“I love their drinks. Yesterday I ordered ahead of time and pick up in the store. I ordered the Grapefruit Green tea, 25% sugar with honey boba. They really use fresh ingredients. In the cup there are 2 slices of grapefruit . Yesterday the honey boba was on point. The chewiness is perfect. While I was chewing , I can really taste the honey favor.“

“It’s honestly a trek when you have to drive almost two hours from one side of town in Pasadena…. to be on the other side of town to get boba at Half & Half Tea House, in Rowland Heights (technically City of Industry but oh well, it doesn’t matter at this point). I’ve heard many good things about this place, especially with the recommendations my friends gave me, so when I was in SoCal this time around, I KNEW I had to give this place a try for it’s buck.I was NOT disappointed at all. In fact, I was AMAZED at how they made their drinks. Not only were they cheap for their price, but everything came out to a decent price. Here’s my take: Food/I got the fresh milk tea with honey, boba, and pudding. When I say this to you… the boba at Half & Half Tea House was absolutely delicious. The tapioca pearls were FRESHLY cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh milk tself was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness as I requested to give them. I could tell that they used high-quality ingredients in their drinks, as the flavors were so fresh and vibrant. Each sip was like a little taste of heaven.Not only was the boba incredible, but the service at Half & Half Tea House was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or make recommendations. They made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it, and even offered to customize it further if needed. “While I do miss their old tea room, I do think this new boba shop format will be much more successful for them! There are plenty of seats for dining in with free parking! The hot pot was flavorful and filling, but would pass on the grapefruit green tea for another milk tea based drink.“
“Lots of seating, great for a cute boba date! Parking is shared with entire plaza, does get packed during busy dinner rushes but someone always leaves soon. You order from a kiosk yourself which is always nice. If you have a choose to pick which kiosk, try to avoid the screen that is attached to their register on the counter and opt for the standing kiosk. Screen attached to their register has extreme lag, you'll have to wait for a 5-7second delay until next screen loads/scrolls over. Obsessed with their Mango Sweet Dew drink (second most popular). Can't go wrong with light fruity, creamy coconut, fresh mango, agar/crystal boba all in one cup. If you don't like your drinks too sweet definitely choose 50% or 25%. I wouldn't recommend 0% (no additional sugar added) because it alters the taste, it seems to have some orange bits added. If you love avocado smoothies, you'll love their Avomango Sweet Dew drink. Top portion is avocado smoothie followed but a layer of creamy coconut mixture and bedded with mango bits with agar/crystal boba. Surprisingly such a refreshing combination. Adjust sweetness if you don't like your drinks too sweet.“
“Nice little boba spot specializing in taro flavored things. Only in this area could you sustain such a niche Asian taste I think. They use fresh taro and you can taste it, much less sweet than the artificial taro taste, so it could be a little off-putting if you are expecting/used to the sugary sweet taro taste.“
