“It has been our second visit to this location and we've loved all the drinks we've gotten there. We live in NorCal and always make a spot to grab a drink here on the way in to see family in corona ca. I can tell their matcha is great quality and their selections of teas are blend well with the matcha. They have soft served too which is even more fun but hard in a good way when you want a drink and soft served ahah. They didn't have any more boba when we we there and hoping that is always available is small batches until they close so they don't waste it, cause it was yummy the last time we had it. I wish they had bathrooms available for customers for those who want to sit and hang or come far. We drove 5 hours and my baby needed to be changed as we were ordering and we didn't have anywhere to, they told us to go somewhere else, but hoping that maybe have something for paying customers for convenience as I'm sure their employees have a place to use. Parking can be bad on weekends as it's in a plaza with a lot of other yummy food/drink places, but recommend it's worth a spot if you love matcha and good boba tea. The place is small intimate with about 3 tables to sit and hang for a short time. Will still come back for the drinks and soft served!“
“One of my favorite place in the late night time in Rowland heights! I love their summer drinks and winter drinks! Highly recommend those teas! Hot teas! And I love the cheese peach! You could always asks for help to customize the drink ! My Secret menu! I also came to this place to spend my afternoon time! “I love their drinks. Yesterday I ordered ahead of time and pick up in the store. I ordered the Grapefruit Green tea, 25% sugar with honey boba. They really use fresh ingredients. In the cup there are 2 slices of grapefruit . Yesterday the honey boba was on point. The chewiness is perfect. While I was chewing , I can really taste the honey favor.“
“What's not to like?! If you're a fan of Taiwanese comfort food, then this is a must-go when in the area. We drive all the way from Torrance to eat here since the JJ that we have locally doesn't have a cafe. The cafe makes this particular location! It's basically a fully functioning restaurant with a proper menu. We had the fried pork chop noodle soup, a braised pork rice (Luroufan) and a bento combo. All were comforting and delicious. Now look, the emphasis is in COMFORT as I'm stressing for the 3rd time here. This isn't food that's going to blow your mind but it is SOLID, especially the fried and braised meats. The way it should be done for traditional Taiwanese food. Big portions, good prices, great value. None of that neatly cut and plated modern stuff for $15-20 an entree (im lookin at you Little Fatty, but also, RIP). You get a damn set of entree, 2 sides, and a soup for $13. And then you pickup breads, pastries, and desserts or a milk tea to finish it off. And THAT'S worth the 5 stars to me every time.“
“It’s honestly a trek when you have to drive almost two hours from one side of town in Pasadena…. to be on the other side of town to get boba at Half & Half Tea House, in Rowland Heights (technically City of Industry but oh well, it doesn’t matter at this point). I’ve heard many good things about this place, especially with the recommendations my friends gave me, so when I was in SoCal this time around, I KNEW I had to give this place a try for it’s buck.I was NOT disappointed at all. In fact, I was AMAZED at how they made their drinks. Not only were they cheap for their price, but everything came out to a decent price. Here’s my take: Food/I got the fresh milk tea with honey, boba, and pudding. When I say this to you… the boba at Half & Half Tea House was absolutely delicious. The tapioca pearls were FRESHLY cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh milk tself was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness as I requested to give them. I could tell that they used high-quality ingredients in their drinks, as the flavors were so fresh and vibrant. Each sip was like a little taste of heaven.Not only was the boba incredible, but the service at Half & Half Tea House was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or make recommendations. They made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it, and even offered to customize it further if needed. The atmosphere in the store was warm and inviting, despite the fact I went in 15 minutes before they closed LOL.will say that the atmosphere wasn’t always the best, but they did have a lot of leeway so you could take your pictures on top of the table and post it for your IG or TikTok.Overall, my experience at Half & Half Tea House was fantastic. “Five stars for friendly customer service and four stars for the drink! I ordered the Lychee Peachee with aloe, medium sweet, but it was still wayyyy too sweet. I will get it even less next time. Regardless, it was a solid tea drink and I was very pleased.“
“ONE OF THE TOP GONG CHA! We ordered 3 different drinks here, all 3 were amazing, this Gong Cha is better than pretty much all the other Gong Cha that I’ve tried aside from the original location. “this place does not sell tea. despite its name. i think its under new ownership and needs a new name.they have some soup noodles, rice and dumpling dishes. i had a sour pickled meat soup noodle dish that i devoured and it tasted on point. my friend got the 'minced pork' with egg veggie and rice and it looked yummy too. there's only one person doing everything, so service is a bit slow. plenty of spaces to sit and eat. overall, enjoyed my meal here!“
“You had dinner in this area and are looking for dessert and you end up in this cute little crepe shop with the best variety of crepes available in the area. The place is cozy, good service, and has amazing crepe. I would definitely recommend you to try this after your meal here or even get some and share it with friends and family if it seems too much for one person. The shop also has a good selection of drinks and other delicacies too.“
