“Neighbors is an awesome spot to kickback with some friends! I finally decided to try this place out after driving past it so many times on Colima. Inside, there are a few booths with comfy couches that really allow you to relax for a conversation with friends. I noticed that some of the prices for drinks were just a step cheaper than some of the popular tea shops like 7 Leaves, Tiger Sugar, and Summerfield, which are selling milk tea at around $6 now. After trying their Vietnamese coffee, it didn't seem like they sacrificed on the quality for their better prices. I also tried their Hazelnut Cream dessert. While it was a little pricey ($9), I was really happy with the taste. The mousse was very light and it was not too sweet! I'll definitely be bringing my friends to try some of their other drinks next time.“

“One of the most welcoming, warmest boba shops I've ever been to. The owner's so nice and her daughter is so sweet. Had a great experience here. Drinks are at a very reasonable price, especially for their size and quality. I paid roughly 13 for 2 drinks. There's also a promotion or event going on where students who bring in their students IDs will get a free cup of noodles with an order of a drink. The store is very pretty interior decoration and they sell pins and assortments of keychains for you to look through. I've never had such an experience a boba place. Really look forward to my next visit :)“

Sul & Beans Cafe • $
1330 Fullerton Rd #110, Rowland Heights

“If you want a special treat in a Korean style, you have to try Sul & Beans. They are located in different cities as a chain so check the closest one near you. As people typically know, Korean desserts are sticky rice cake, shaved ice, anything with red beans, fruits, etc. Well, guess what? You can get all that in one place and I'm specifically talking about Korean bingsoo (shaved ice.) The ones that they serve is fusion so you get to pick and choose what you want as a topping. I like the fact that they not only kept the Korean traditional way but also combined with ingredients such as bread, cookies, etc. in a very well balanced way so it doesn't hurt the authenticity. Anything you try, I'm sure you won't get disappointed. They also have Bungeo-ppang (aka carp bread) that is a fish-shaped pastry stuffed with sweetened red bean paste, which originated from the Japanese taiyaki. And, you can choose to have cream filling as well if you don't prefer red bean paste. Another option is the toast that has Injeolmi, which is another kind of Korean rice cake. If it's your first time experiencing Injeolmi, I recommend trying the original first. It is warm and gooey at the same time, which is a perfect combination. The shop is pretty small and due to its popularity, it is always packed every time I visit. It is not a place for group because they don't have enough space but it definitely is a place for 3-4 people to hang out. Because it is a Korean owned business, the service is great and everything comes out really fast. I actually wanted to treat my coworkers with these amazing desserts but the only way you can make that happen is to pick up yourself, which is scary because for instance, the shaved ice needs a special packaging and triple care during the transporting process. I called the headquarter to request the delivery method and even though it is in a large order, they denied it, unfortunately.“

“Overall, pretty standard 7L. My gripe is the location is pretty funky overall. It sits close to a busy street and is a mostly pickup and drive-thru location even though there is an outside patio seating area (next to the street) and some seats inside on the side where you initially enter for drive-thru and is an elongated hall.I'm not sure if anyone would like to do work or study at this location, but it's okay if you're going for the drive-thru or you're on foot/walking.“

“This place has excellent tea and plenty of choices. The best thing about this location is that they make all teas fresh on site. This means there is a wait for your drink; however, it is worth the wait. I would recommend any of their milk teas. They also have red beans that can be added to most drinks.“

“Stopped by here to try their new iced lavender cream oatmilk matcha. First, I taste the cream and a hint of lavender and then the matcha and oatmilk after-taste. I love all things lavender so it was a hit for me. I'll have to come back to try their other iced lavender oatmilk latte. If you like the taste of matcha and lavender, then this is the drink for you!! The girl serving was nice and my drink was good, so 5 stars for coming up with a delicious drink!! Thanks Starbucks team!!“

“Been wanting to try this cute little cafè since I’m a fan of all things matcha flavored. Photos and reviews of the place seemed enticing. Visited around 9PM after dinner at one of the other restaurants in the plaza. There was a long line but the wait time after ordering wasn’t bad at all. We received our order in less than 5 mins. There was not much room inside the cafè to chill or “dine in” but there were a few tables and chairs outside of the café that are shared with other surrounding establishments nearby. My husband and I tried the Matcha with Matcha Soft serve Float and Hojicha with a Vanilla + Matcha Swirl soft serve Float. They gave us a generous portion of the soft serve. The Matcha soft serve and Float were perfect. Nice rich matcha flavor. The Vanilla+Matcha swirl was nice and sweet, which is what I would recommend for those who may not be used to the deep earthy strong matcha flavor since it was a nice sweet balance with the vanilla. However the Hojicha was very watered down so I didn’t really appreciate the flavor at all. Perhaps it can be attributed to the large amount of ice that they put into the cup for the “float” effect. Would probably only come back for the soft serve rather than the drink versions. A friend of ours tried the hot matcha version (not pictured) but she said it tasted more earthy like grass as compared to the iced matcha.“

“Lambs Hot Pot A couple of days ago, my dear friend, a good cook herself, highly recommended the lambs hot pot. I am not a lamb enthusiast, I don't like it's heavy smell; but today I decided to give it a try. When the courteous server brought me the hot pot on a burner, the steaming aromatic in the air was a relieve from my concern. The bite size cut meat with bones and skin stewed with mixed ingredients, including cabbage, fish balls, mushrooms, sliced gingers, tofu, jujubi and herbs was plenty. The broth had a little bit of sweetness, was tasty and balanced. The meal came with a bowl of rice noodle and a small side dish of appetizer. Good for a chilly day.“

“This location is my favoirte spot to go to! Baristas are always so nice, helpful and respectful! I tried tipping a few times but apparently they cannot take tips due to Targets rules which i think is BS! They are doing us a service and if I feel like tipping them for doing an outstanding job I should be able to! Drinks are always made right, with a little extra love and not to mention all the specialty drinks this location makes that we cannot get anywhere else! The young lady Sarina who helped me was very nice and even recommended a drink to me which was amazing! These baristas don't get the credit they deserve! Come here they are so nice and fast!!“

“Cute and clean cafe. Always walked past it growing up but tried it out because we had some time to kill. The owner was so kind and I wish her prosperity for her business. I got a small bag of the walnut pastries and iced coffee. The pastry was fresh and hot. Very delicious as a quick breakfast. The ice coffee was very refreshing. Light, crisp, and clean caffeine that gets you awake.“
