“I do really like it here the owner is super friendly not rude like other owners, his lady making the sandwiches is super nice as well and helps as a Spanish translator, if that helps, the donuts are absolutely fresh and fluffy and the croissants are super super delicious fluffy and crispy!! “Wow their glazed is one of the best I’ve tasted. Texture and flavor like Krispy Kreme without as much sugar. Chocolate bar was too - best chocolate bar I had in a while, perfect sweet and dough airiness. All the circular donuts had a little bit too much dough air but it was still very chewy, like donut tree’s dough airiness but problem with donut tree is the dough is too rigid.
This place has some donuts that are better than rainbow donuts. I would say they’re pretty on par for food quality, except this place is much more enticing due to box presentation and friendly staff/owner with literate English. But the chocolate bar and glazed is too good!!“

“Meeting the owner couple of JEAN DONUT, who were so kind and warm during my study-abroad years in 2008, was truly a great blessing for me.

After finishing my studies and returning to Korea, I visited again in 2019. Even then, the owners of JEAN DONUT welcomed me and my children with the same sincere warmth as before.

Even after ten years, the unchanging taste and kindness made me feel as though I had been welcomed back home. I truly want many people to know about JEAN DONUT and this wonderful couple.

Their cinnamon donuts and simple, classic coffee are absolutely delicious.

My sincere hope is that the owners will stay healthy and continue running JEAN DONUT for many years to come. On June 8, 2026, I will visit JEAN DONUT again to see them.

The atomosphere is very well maintained just a bit old fashioned, nothing wrong with it just not my cup of tea as a Gen Z. But that’s probably what brings comfort to their daily consistent customers. I could stop recommending this place!“

“So my brother brought donuts over to my house and he bought them from these. These are the best donuts I think I've ever tried. He bought the croissant donuts to make the one that I'm eating. They're so flaky and they have layers. No lie. This is like the best don't I think I've ever had in my life and it's so close to home. I've never been to this donut shop. I think maybe I stopped there before but never really paid attention. Didn't get the croissant donuts. These are a must try the croissant donuts. I give it a 10 out of 10. And he said that was like $17 for a dozen of donuts. That's not bad because other places charge more.“

“Went to pick up some doughnuts I bought ahead of time. There is classic doughnuts and cool frosting ones. I ordered a coconut drink and asked for it to not be super sweet. I can't even imagine what the sweet option is because when I tried it my teeth hurt from the taste of sugar and to boot it looks like it has whipped cream on top. I asked for bday doughnuts and they came out so pretty. Birthday boy will love them.“

Maybe its becuase they use real butter in everything but honestly I dont even care what the secret is, the apple fritters are insane and I grab one almost every morning on my way to work. “This is the greatest little donut shop ever. these donuts are what a donut should be. Light, fluffy moist and so tasty. I don't know what they do different but it is better than the usual donut. And the prices are typical donut prices not the higher priced for specialized or premium donut shops.
We used to live in the neighborhood around the shop and took it for granted. Now that we have moved out of state, We have found there is nothing quite like A&A donuts. We stop every opportunity when we visit the area. Any of our friends and neighbors who travel to the area (Disneyland, Knotts, L.A....) we tell them its worth the trip to grab donuts here.. And they all agree!!“

“The shop was clean, organized, and the donuts were beautifully displayed with a wide variety of flavors to choose from.

The donuts had the perfect texture, soft and chewy with a light crisp on the outside. They offered flavors like Oreo, Biscoff, Strawberry & Cream, Chocolate, Vanilla Glaze, Fruity Pebbles, and Churro. I also liked that they weren’t overly sweet.

June and Brandon were both incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. Since it was hard deciding between all the flavors, they were patient, helpful, and never made me feel rushed. “I just love this place. 1 day I was looking on Google for early morning donut shop that was open and I found this place. It opens at 430am. It's also a drive threw. This place is a little hidden gem. If you're ever in Elmonte area, I totally recommend it. They're coffee. It's off the hook. And the donuts are always fresh. My brother and I love going there.

“I just moved to the neighborhood and needed breakfast before work. The place was pleasant inside abd the young men working were cordial. I got a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, & onion. I was pleased that it tasted seasoned and they used red onions. My bagel was thousands times better than anything I have bought in Alhambra. I think I found a local spot for myself.“

Sometimes it’s nighttime, and I’m already thinking about going there in the morning when I wake up for my donut and coffee. Today I purchased a raisin roll, it's large like the bear claw I purchased B4 and I really liked both of them with my protein shake that I have with. It's usually busy in the morning here with regular customers outside the shop where there's tables with benches.. besides donuts and coffee they have a variety of sandwiches on croissants 🥐. “I starred this place on my maps and I’m so glad I did! I got my sister a chocolate-filled donut—the donuts are soft, fresh, and so good. We both loved it!

I also had a dulce de leche blended drink, and it was SO good! The coffee here is really great too—I even got my mom a hot coffee from here two days in a row. I also saw that the coffee is made fresh early in the morning ☕️
