10 Best Donuts in La Puente

“So my brother brought donuts over to my house and he bought them from these. These are the best donuts I think I've ever tried. He bought the croissant donuts to make the one that I'm eating. They're so flaky and they have layers. No lie. This is like the best don't I think I've ever had in my life and it's so close to home. I've never been to this donut shop. I think maybe I stopped there before but never really paid attention. Didn't get the croissant donuts. These are a must try the croissant donuts. I give it a 10 out of 10. And he said that was like $17 for a dozen of donuts. That's not bad because other places charge more.“

“Wow their glazed is one of the best I’ve tasted. Texture and flavor like Krispy Kreme without as much sugar. Chocolate bar was too - best chocolate bar I had in a while, perfect sweet and dough airiness. All the circular donuts had a little bit too much dough air but it was still very chewy, like donut tree’s dough airiness but problem with donut tree is the dough is too rigid.
This place has some donuts that are better than rainbow donuts. I would say they’re pretty on par for food quality, except this place is much more enticing due to box presentation and friendly staff/owner with literate English. But the chocolate bar and glazed is too good!!“

“After having a horrible day I decided to go with my granddaughter and a friend with the thought of just getting a donut. My granddaughter and friend decided on couple drinks that I hadn't anticipated needing money for needless to say I only had enough to purchase their items and I was ok with that. The employee asked if I had decided on what I wanted I told her I was fine it had been a bad day and just wanted to take my granddaughter she asked if I was sure I said yes . After paying for their items with literally exact money on hand she handed me a cute little donut I mentioned It wasn't mine and she smiled and said she wished me a better day I thanked her and walked out holding tears because that little gesture meant the world.
A great Thank you to that employee from someone who battles with depression.“

“This place reminds me of the one near my house, I love the style of the restaurant, I got the turkey breast cold sandwich with croissant bread and a caramel iced coffee, I think it was well priced and it was amazing, the guy working is super nice! 🗣️🔥🤑🤑“

“This was a fun experience. I love the history and the look of the building. The gentleman who served us was very friendly. I had a cinnamon role and my wife had the apple fritter.
Neither of us was born away. It was pretty standard fare.
But the price for the size was more than reasonable and they were good donuts, just not great donuts.
But I am still very happy I went.
Be advised this place is a drive through, you see the donuts from the car and the menu board inside. You order from someone at a drive up window. So this is not really a place to just browse through the selections because often you will have a line of cars behind myou.
But go out of your way to see this place you won't be disappointed“

“The bagels are always fresh and coffee made to order. Love the helpful staff and very quick to get orders served to you. If you're even in the area stop by for your morning coffee or freshly squeezed juice. Yes they have a variety of fresh juices that you can also order to go.“

“Friendly atmosphere, quick service and delicious food and drinks. My favorite is the BLT on an everything bagel with iced caramel coffee. =)“

“Overall, it's a really great spot for a quick breakfast and donut.

Their service is amazing. SUPER friendly folks and very nice. Lovely people I'd love to start every morning with.

Their food was good. Basic sandwiches that get you through the day and their donuts are always delicious.

It's tucked in a strip mall of a busy street. Outside can sometimes have some sketchy people, but the workers didn't seem phased. Like they're used to it.

“They must be under new management! Everything is so clean & spotless, unlike before the glass was always dirty & had ants! Now it's like a whole different place! Beautiful & clean! I now can go get our donuts as we'd like to without hesitation!! Good job Winchell's!!

Parking: Plenty of fresh Donuts!! Warm & ready!! I got the Pineapple upside down cupcake 🧁 & a Bagel with cream cheese toasted! Can't wait to eat it shortly ☺️“
