10 Best Donuts in La Puente

“So my brother brought donuts over to my house and he bought them from these. These are the best donuts I think I've ever tried. He bought the croissant donuts to make the one that I'm eating. They're so flaky and they have layers. No lie. This is like the best don't I think I've ever had in my life and it's so close to home. I've never been to this donut shop. I think maybe I stopped there before but never really paid attention. Didn't get the croissant donuts. These are a must try the croissant donuts. I give it a 10 out of 10. And he said that was like $17 for a dozen of donuts. That's not bad because other places charge more.“

“I've been to a lot of donut shops and I've got to say this place is one of my favorites so far. The customer service is fast and friendly. Not to mention they have a wide variety of donuts to choose from which include giant donuts too. My personal favorite is the spicy breakfast croissant so I highly recommend it.“

“Originally opened in 1968, this is the last surviving location of a chain of Donut Holes that used to dot Southern California. There were once 5 total, but this is the only surviving one. You will also recognize it in music videos, TV shows, and movies such as Calendar Girl and Dragnet. It’s also very popular on TikTok and foodie influencer guides. That being said, it’s important to know that it is cash only and it’s best to arrive early because they sell out of all the best flavors first and will close after they are depleted. Pricing is fair and the woman serving was very polite and attentive when we stopped in for our donuts.

The day we visited, there a pretty large selection, and what’s really cool is that you drive into the middle of the donut to get your food and drinks, and then exit out the other side. The donuts are good and it’s worth stopping in for the driving experience and history alone. I would suggest.“

“The bagels are always fresh and coffee made to order. Love the helpful staff and very quick to get orders served to you. If you're even in the area stop by for your morning coffee or freshly squeezed juice. Yes they have a variety of fresh juices that you can also order to go.“

“Stopped by Winchell’s in Rowland Heights and had a great experience! The donuts were fresh, soft, and delicious, and the coffee was the perfect complement. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided quick service. The shop was clean, well-stocked, and it’s a huge plus that they’re open 24 hours, making it easy to grab a snack or breakfast anytime. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended!“
