“Five stars for friendly customer service and four stars for the drink! I ordered the Lychee Peachee with aloe, medium sweet, but it was still wayyyy too sweet. I will get it even less next time. Regardless, it was a solid tea drink and I was very pleased.“

“It’s honestly a trek when you have to drive almost two hours from one side of town in Pasadena…. to be on the other side of town to get boba at Half & Half Tea House, in Rowland Heights (technically City of Industry but oh well, it doesn’t matter at this point). I’ve heard many good things about this place, especially with the recommendations my friends gave me, so when I was in SoCal this time around, I KNEW I had to give this place a try for it’s buck.I was NOT disappointed at all. In fact, I was AMAZED at how they made their drinks. Not only were they cheap for their price, but everything came out to a decent price. Here’s my take: Food/I got the fresh milk tea with honey, boba, and pudding. When I say this to you… the boba at Half & Half Tea House was absolutely delicious. The tapioca pearls were FRESHLY cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh milk tself was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness as I requested to give them. I could tell that they used high-quality ingredients in their drinks, as the flavors were so fresh and vibrant. Each sip was like a little taste of heaven.Not only was the boba incredible, but the service at Half & Half Tea House was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or make recommendations. They made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it, and even offered to customize it further if needed. The atmosphere in the store was warm and inviting, despite the fact I went in 15 minutes before they closed LOL.will say that the atmosphere wasn’t always the best, but they did have a lot of leeway so you could take your pictures on top of the table and post it for your IG or TikTok.Overall, my experience at Half & Half Tea House was fantastic. The combination of amazing boba and exceptional service made for a truly memorable visit. The next time that I’m in SoCal, I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious drinks in the future. “Lots of seating, great for a cute boba date! Parking is shared with entire plaza, does get packed during busy dinner rushes but someone always leaves soon. You order from a kiosk yourself which is always nice. If you have a choose to pick which kiosk, try to avoid the screen that is attached to their register on the counter and opt for the standing kiosk. Screen attached to their register has extreme lag, you'll have to wait for a 5-7second delay until next screen loads/scrolls over. Obsessed with their Mango Sweet Dew drink (second most popular). Can't go wrong with light fruity, creamy coconut, fresh mango, agar/crystal boba all in one cup. If you don't like your drinks too sweet definitely choose 50% or 25%. I wouldn't recommend 0% (no additional sugar added) because it alters the taste, it seems to have some orange bits added. If you love avocado smoothies, you'll love their Avomango Sweet Dew drink. Top portion is avocado smoothie followed but a layer of creamy coconut mixture and bedded with mango bits with agar/crystal boba. Surprisingly such a refreshing combination. Adjust sweetness if you don't like your drinks too sweet.“
“This place is very spacious and clean. There's a kiosk to the far right to place your order. You can see the ingredients and select the level of sweetness. I really like this contactless interface because the workers can focus on preparing our drinks faster. My kids been here many times but it's my first time. My body can't handle caffeine so I got the mango coconut slush. It was beyond exceptional because I felt I was on a tropical island on my first sip. The only interaction with the workers was when they called our name to pick up the drinks. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this place.“
