“I found this place after I had one too many bad experiences at Juice N Bowls, and I am just sad that I didn't find this place sooner! These people are awesome, every single person I have seen working there has been kind and helpful. Their drinks are SO GOOD, and consistent. The packaging is better for the environment, and you can even return the really cool looking glass bottles for 15¢ (each bottle you bring back) off your next purchase. Not to mention the rewards program they have through Clover, which is super simple to check in and earn points with. Each drink you get gets you a point toward that same type of drink and when you rack up 10, you get a free drink, which can easily be done in a week because their stuff is SO GOOD you will be going back for more all the time, and it's cheaper than most other juice places I have found in the area. They have really cute Merch, and plants for sale all over their very aesthetic and way cool and mellow dining room. Legitimately, I haven't loved a place this much in a LONG time, and I wish I found them sooner, plus its a small business, which I think we can all agree that there needs to be more of...AND I almost forgot, they sell Sea Moss, and in a variety of flavors too! If you don't go here at least once, you are DEFINITELY missing out.“

“I wanted more of my sushi fix. I found this place using Google maps. The reviews and pictures looked lovely, so I showed up. Firstly, you need to find out if there is the half off house rolls or not. I ordered using the paper like normal, when I was told a second house roll would be half off. I agreed. Holy moly, these rolls are HUGE. I've visited many sushi restaurants in California, and this place, their rolls are on steroids! One standard roll, is equivalent to almost 2 at this place. I don't remember exactly what I ordered, but the food was excellent. It was very well crafted and presentation was 10/10. Miso Soup was also included at no charge. I will return, and I suggest you visit too.“

“I love this place for it's cheap vegan food. They have a ton of options that are so well priced. I had a burger and fries and both were great portions and delicious. It sucks there is no inside seating. When I was here it was very hot and no shade. Had to eat outside since I walked there. Service was a little slow but it was busy. I was in the area for lunch when I came across Burd Chicken Rice. The menu and reviews intrigued me and made me hungry. Most of the menu featured dark meat chicken, and the Lemongrass Burrito caught my eye. I placed my order, which arrived at our table in a few minutes. The burrito had a delicious and clean flavor. The chicken was tender, the rice was nicely seasoned, and the veggies added a fresh texture. The ginger scallion sauce added a punch of acidity that complimented it well.

My friend enjoyed his Mix Burd Plate, which included classic and lemongrass chicken. After our meal, I decided to try the Cane Passion drink for the drive home. It was refreshing and sweet.

It was my first time here, and it was a pleasant experience with friendly staff and clean dining areas. I hope to return to the area to try more items or get that burrito again!“

“I interned at the office here for 3 months over my summer break. As a pre-dental student going into my second year of undergrad at UCLA, I called local dental offices for shadowing and volunteering opportunities to prepare myself for dental school and decide if the long and arduous path through dental school was one I was willing to take. Man Dental promptly answered and told me to email my resume and hours. Not soon after, I got an interview call and began working at their office in West Covina and Chino Hills.

When I started, I had little to no dental knowledge, other than how fillings worked, how to count teeth, and how to recognize tooth surfaces. Nevertheless, the dental assistants were happy to teach me everything from scratch. I learned how to sterilize instruments, flip operation rooms, and interact with patients. Following the doctor around the office from patient to patient taught me how to time-manage different types of appointments, prioritize tasks, and maintain the efficiency and flow of the office and staff. Dr. Man and his many qualified associates were encouraging in my education and lack of experience, as he was patient while I struggled to keep up with the pace of everyone else in the beginning. They took their time to answer my questions and explain the reasoning behind many complicated procedures. Soon enough, I had gotten the hang of it and was able to think about which patient was next, or what instrument the doctor would use in the following step and why - hence I knew to plan accordingly without scrambling. In less than 2 weeks (I worked 3 days a week, MWF) I had already began to quickly pick up the skills to assist procedures such as cleanings, crowns, implants, extractions, and Invisalign, etc. with proficiency.

Being able to commute to both offices expanded the limits of my experiences. I was able to work with different demographics and age groups. I extended my Spanish conversation skills and Chinese dental vocabulary so that I could translate for patients whose primary language was not English. Looking back to my first day, I can tell that I have grown immensely, not only as a dental assistant but also as a student who can constantly develop my abilities and challenge myself in clinics and academia. I can confidently say that these 3 months of experience eradicated my doubts about going into dentistry because although it may seem daunting at first, I know that with the motivation I now have to pursue such a rewarding career, I will not lose my passion for the future and will truly enjoy the practice.

I highly recommend interning here at Man Dental to any other students, pre-dental/med/health, as it is a worthy time investment into your skillset that will undoubtedly benefit you in your future prospects:)“

I was visiting from out of town and was so glad that I found this place! The customer service here is absolutely impeccable! They take the time to arrange the bowls in a beautiful way, not just chop fruit and throw it on top like some other places. Additionally, the employee who assembled my bowl took the time to ask me about my day and he was genuinely interested in what was going on in my life. I was so impressed and wish I lived closer so I could come back here all the time.

“You know when healthy foods just don’t taste good or even satisfy “junk food cravings”… well, THIS IS NOT THE CASE! I got the combo so one smoothie and one juice! Everything is one size so the only hard decision is picking which smoothie and juice you want. You don’t have to buy both if you just want one or the other. I added the skinny shot to my coffee cake smoothie. The smoothies are smooth, yummy, and even after drinking about half in 15 minutes, I’m still reaching to finish the whole thing! The strawberry margarita was very similar to the strawberry acai’s at ⭐️?. I did ask for less sugar. Meghan was so helpful. If y’all are thinking of getting boba, early/midday coffee’s, soda’s… try this place. I forgot to use the $12 for $20 today but all the more reason to come back! ?

“New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“
