“Easily my favorite place to eat breakfast in Covina. All the food I've had is delicous, the sweet potato bowl is incredible. Breakfast burrito is savory and their coffee is always great. Friendly staff and service is top tier. Every time I leave I look forward to coming back!“

“I'm not sure where to even begin with this restaurant. We decided to stop here on our drive home from the LA County Fair because we had a sudden craving for Ethiopian food. We looked up places on Google Maps, and this place was on the way home and was rated 4.9 stars, so we figured, why not?

We were very, very pleasantly surprised with our decision because this restaurant is one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I've ever been to. Scratch that, it's probably one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was incredible.

The restaurant is also an fantastic value. A $45 sampler plate of all the meats and eight sides could easily fed three to four people. The Ethiopian beer and wine were fantastic as well. I'd find it hard to leave this restaurant unsatisfied.

It's a small restaurant, and doesn't have a lot of seats, so sometimes there might be a wait. That said, the food came out quickly and it was delicious!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, and it is even worth making a trip out to if you love good Ethiopian food.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Yashima. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared, and everything we ordered tasted amazing. The sushi and sashimi were especially high quality. The atmosphere felt authentic and cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s clear they take pride in their food. We will definitely be coming back!“

I got here at night and was a bit confused with the gate being closed. But if you call the phone number at the gate they'll buzz you in. Pretty cool place and welcoming environment. “It was my first visit, and I was satisfied with every dish. The restaurant is called Sushi & Roll, but other menu items like bento, udon, and tempura were also really delicious. The staff is always friendly, the coffee is quite good and refreshed often, food portions are on the larger side, the taste is excellent, and the somewhat dated decor just fits the whole experience. “Stopped by this establishment because my normal breakfast spot was full to the gillz one particular morning. This establishment was pretty darn close to being full and seated us promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was spot on. I opted for the chicken and waffle which was hearty and sumptuous. While I still consider my go to breakfast spot to be Georgia's bun n burger up the road, I believe I'll keep this diner as a formidable reserve in my back pocket.“

“I got the Mongolian beef, extra spicy. It was tasty, but 85% rice, and was actually a little sweet not spicy. They merely threw more whole red chili's but nobody actually eats whole Chinese red chili's.

My friend got the swordfish, and opted out of the rice and upgraded to double string beans, didn't look like they doubled it.She said there's no hint of flavor on the beans, like they were simply boiled. She did like the caper sauce on the fish but had to ask for more.

Both dishes were lunch sized portions with dinner pricing, but there's live music (Friday 7pm), so just realize that it's less of a restaurant than a fine whiskey bar with food.“

Best around street Tacos and Burritos all their food is packed of flavor, fresh and best of all unlike other taco stands that barely put any meat, not here they always put more than enough meat on their tacos and Burritos so definitely you get your money's worth.

All the times I've been here they keep their taco stand pretty clean again unlike others that have trash laying around their taco stand this one here they keep it clean. Service as well pretty friendly, dudes cooking the food as well friendly with that welcoming attitude no salty faces here.

Overall awesome spot to hit up for some late night taco cravings. Prices are really reasonable, some of these taco stands around the area are way overpriced that's why you never see anyone hitting those up, so definitely recommend this one!“

“You order on a pad... The pad has pictures also. A bunch of categories like drinks, appetizers and such. Select what you want and it keeps a tally. When ready, place your order and it goes to the kitchen. Servers are on the ball and very helpful. Didn't take pictures but everyone was happy at our meal. Friend ordered chicken katsu kare with medium curry. Along with a small yellowtail sashimi dish and some pickled radishes and cucumbers. Other friend order some unagi hand rolls. I had the pork tonkatsu kare with medium spicy curry also. We shared a small bottle of cold sake. Everything was tasty. Will come back!“

“On the way back to Ventura from the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament, I stopped at P & G Super Burger. Exhausted and hungry we stumbled in and they were getting ready to close. They treated us royally and made us the most delicious sandwiches and shakes. I love their food and the crew!“

“So I’ve been driving by this place for over 20 years and never bothered to stop by. Today, my partner mentioned this place and I said okay let’s check it out.
My partner loved his chicken and veggie bowl. It was well worth the $12.99. There were actual veggies and not just cabbage ( broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, cauliflower and carrots) perfectly cooked/steamed. Chicken to veggies ratio was just right and I mean damn there was so much my partner left a few pieces. Normally he takes some of my chicken since it’s never enough. Hands down will return for the chicken and veggie bowl.
I ordered the chicken plate which comes with a green salad. Well worth the $14.99.

Next time I’ll try their teriyaki burger, maybe 😜

The meat was extremely well seasoned. I got red salsa from ordering tacos but it was soo good. The perfect amount of spicy to keep you wanting more in every bite. My kiddos loved the tacos and the rice tastes home made. Everything was fresh and I will definitely be a return customer. 🙂“

“I grew up with the OG Pepe’s in Alhambra. This location holds roughly the same frequency of food in taste and quantity. The downfall in Covina is the Carne Asada tends to have more gristle and I even got a bone once. Taste overall is great but watch out, you might crack a tooth while fighting the meat.“

I only had to dock one star because they tell you your online pickup order is complete but it is always missing something so double check your order before you leave.
