“It's located next to Mi Pulgarcito Pupiseria Salvadoreña and near GS Ethiopian Cafe. I had went to this plaza for another restaurant but they closed already for lunch. I decided to try this grilled chicken place, reminds me of Juan Pollo or El Pollo Loco. It seems family owned with a young teen taking my order.

I chose to try the 16 piece family special with half spicy and regular chicken ($44.99) which came with 4 large sides, tortillas and salsa. I chose their macaroni salad, potato salad, rice, and beans. I got a lunch special for myself that came with a can of soda. The seasoning on the chicken was good, the spicy chicken had a good heat. The skin was crispy and the chicken was moist. My family did not like the sides of macaroni and potato salad.

“This place is consistent. Great food great service with friendly staff. Came in for breakfast. Ordered the chorizo a la Mexicana and the ham and cheese omelette. They gave chips and salsa. Chips were fresh and crunchy and the salsa had a little spice to it. Portions are generous so be sure to bring an appetite.“

“Delicioso! Delicious! 🤤 Sabor a Perú was amazing! My family and I were doing an errand in the Covina area and I decided to Google some Peruvian food options and came across Sabor a Peru. It was an excellent choice. The food is just sooooo good! Delicious made from scratch & the portions are generous. The pricing is also what I consider good. Every single dish we order was amazing but I’m in absolute love with the Tallarin Verde de Pollo & the Lucuma Ice Cream. But again everything was amazing. Thank you Sabor a Perú.“

“I tried a few beers here and took some cans to go because the beers are good. Brew master is a genius. I brew hop all over and this brewery is definitely top 5 on my list. I got here at night and was a bit confused with the gate being closed. But if you call the phone number at the gate they'll buzz you in. Pretty cool place and welcoming environment. “It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

The chicken soup was just okay. I would have preferred the soup to come out first instead of being served at the same time as my sandwich. The open-face roast beef was decent but nothing that really stood out.

The patty melt had good flavor, but it came with very few grilled onions, and even though I requested mushrooms, they were completely left off.

Overall, the food was okay and had decent flavor, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The great service was definitely the highlight of my visit.“

“Stopped by this establishment because my normal breakfast spot was full to the gillz one particular morning. This establishment was pretty darn close to being full and seated us promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was spot on. I opted for the chicken and waffle which was hearty and sumptuous. While I still consider my go to breakfast spot to be Georgia's bun n burger up the road, I believe I'll keep this diner as a formidable reserve in my back pocket.“

Very friendly staff and inside decor has a very Hispanic/Mexican homestyle warmth. Now the food... so far I've been stuck on their carnitas and asada tacos! Comes with grilled onions and roasted jalapenos! Sooooo gooooood! Meat not dry and very tasty. They are not cheap on the meat either! I also love the abodado burrito (may have mis spelled that), I will try that on a sandwich next visit. Great little gem in town. Us over at the Acura dealer enjoy their food very much! See you guys there!“

This recent visit we (the Wife and I and my Son) had an order of egg fried rice, sweet and sour fish and moo shu pork. All of the dishes were delicious, nothing to note in the way of any disappointment. They have a great beef chow fun and many of the other dishes are very 👍 good. Will definitely be back and I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for some good Chinese food in the area. Only note to make is it can get busy here and the owner and a few staff run this place so call ahead and order to go or just be patient...it is definitely worth it😋.“

“Fish tacos were amazing! Fish pieces were a good size. The batter was flavorful and held its crisp. We took ours to go and ate them about 15 minutes later, the tacos were still perfection! I ate 2 tacos and was full. The staff was nice and the food was cooked to order. We waited about 10 minutes for 6 fish tacos. We can’t wait to return.“
