“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “I love this place. I have been coming here every Saturday for the last two months. I get the 2 chicken bowl special for $15 and the food is delicious.There is a lot of variety that you can choose from and the bento box also has a lot of good and healthy food. The quality of the food just feels a cut above other places in my opinion. The owner of the place is very nice too.“

“I was seated outside, not much of a view but that's OK. I had the country fried steak, with eggs over easy and biscuits & gravy. The food was delicious. The gravy had sage in it, but not overwhelming. The biscuit was seasoned, very good on its own. I enjoyed the CFS. My bride ordered a sandwhich. I don't recall but she really enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of their signature Chipotle cheddar potatoes. They were absolutely fantastic. I would go back just to have those potatoes. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Great place to enjoy a breakfast.“

“Always had a nice experience here and their XL bowls are huge! Last time I came was 20-30mins before they were closing and they still sat me. Very nice people. The peanut sauce they serve with the spring rolls is very good and thick. Even though this Pho spot is far from me I still go out of my way to come here.“

“Very pretty place. Our server was such a sweetheart and would come up with lots of little jokes.
We had miso soup, gyoza, and 3 sushi rolls. The gyoza was fried, so it wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was super tasty. I really recommend the Redondo Roll. It has mango, crab, avocado, rice paper, and eel sauce. The mango complimented the taste so well.
For dessert, I would recommend the macaron with ice cream.“

“Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price.

The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size.

Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.“

“Food came out as ordered...food was hot and fresh. This mom and pop shop has been here for some time and runs a good burger🍔 shop that includes Mexican🌯🌮 food items and some Greek🇬🇷. Their drive thru is always busy and their shakes are delicious with many choices of flavors...🥤including some of your own suggestions such as the chocolate 🍫 🍌banana...my fave.

The place is clean but the seats are all booths and a little dated...tight fit for the bigger guys who show up in the big work trucks. Could use some updated seating and mixed booths and tables to accommodate the big fellas...otherwise the place is a great burger place overall. Not the first time here and won't be the last. 😋“

No matter if it’s a quick on the go lunch, or a feast of a dinner, the sushi is delicious and they’re customer service is amazing. They always give me complimentary sauces, and sometimes even an on the house roll!! And the one time I ordered the wrong roll, they swapped it out for me. “I just got off a 12 hour night shift and was craving chilaquiles. Thankfully this place was about to open and had chilaquiles on the menu.! They were so good! The salsa rojo was flavorful but not spicy and the chips still had a good crunch. My husband ordered an asada breakfast burrito and he loved it! Will def be returning again.“

“Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and told we could sit wherever we wanted. Our server offered water and delivered it quickly. She took our orders, 3 Pho and spring rolls and they arrived quickly and nice and hot (spring rolls were nice and cool). The pho broth was delicious and those eating it said it was some of the best they have had and they eat pho quite often, the spring rolls were very tasty and refreshing with a nice peanut sauce to go with them. Milk tea with snd without boba was also enjoyable. We will return when we are back in the area at World Market. Highly recommend this nice place with friendly employees!“

“First time here and I really enjoyed my meal. Had the Chicken meatballs in chicken broth, mild with a side of pork gyozas. The atmosphere was really chill, I read my books as I waited for my meal. I'm definitely going back to try out their other options, maybe no spice to try out the broth without the heat of the spice.“

Chinese food not priority food but told her I would down the highway where she and my second youngest would get Chinese, which was adjacent to the fast food restaurant my wife managed when was still able to work. YOU GUESSED IT! No there anymore. So that put me on a quest and I tried the shopping Plaza just down the street, and success was mine with,Royal Panda. I was impressed with how 'fresh' all the selections were. Also a very bright and clean shop. Like a,dummy I ask for an order of chow mejn to go. The lady serving said what else? I said just chow mein and she informed that it came with
everything & I need to pick how many entrees I wanted. They all looked fresh and scrumptious and I picked the kung-pow chicken. My wife was delighted with her dinner. I'm sure I'll be going there again.“
