“A hidden gem! The place is spacious and super clean! They have seating inside so you can dine in or take it to go! The food is delicious! It’s so well served and the owners are so kind and sweet! Again the portion sizes are worth it! Food is fresh and the quality is amazing! I recommend 10/10, if you’re in the area I would give it a chance! The plaza is also very spacious so parking is no problem! They also have a lot of snacks and drinks! We come mostly for the poke but the teas are equally as yummy!“

I called about 5-6 times nobody answered , the last called i made i was in the corner of la Bufadora , when i came inside place was empty maybe two tables were taken at the most and one person waiting for an order . “Haidilao Hot Pot is an experience. The service is amazing (free snacks while you wait, super attentive staff), and the hot pot is fully customizable with fresh, high-quality ingredients. “Favorite Sichuan restaurant in California! Definitely the most authentic Sichuan food I’ve ever had in the states (yes I’m from Sichuan so take my word for it lol)
We live in the Bay Area, but whenever we’re visiting LA, we go to this place because of the great taste.
We ordered rabbit, beef and beef. The portions were HUGE. Every dish was flavorful, and it’s amazing that they picked seasonal vegetables to complement the flavor of the meat in each dish. And the spiciness is really close to what I had back at home in Sichuan. The chengdu fried rice(this should be the name if I remember it correctly) is also very good, not oily at all.
The restaurant owner is also very nice and she told us the rabbit meat is fresh from the butcher shop everyday, which sets this restaurant apart from others. (Well, this is the only restaurants in the states that I have ever been to that serves rabbit on the menu, so I really appreciate that)

My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. “One of the very few places we can have some healthy food outside… @heartland_organic_cafe_mart it’s all vegan and cooked really well. We’ve been here a few times and enjoyed everything there. We had a stir fried mushroom rice plate this time and some soup noodles. It left us feeling so full of good nutrition. Bought an odd green drink as we left and it was soooo good! It was a lovely mildly sweet dessert to end off a nutritious meal.“

“Been on my list for a while and finally came in on a Saturday for lunch. The noodles were to die for! I got the special with three toppings and it was so perfect and delicious. The meat sauce and tomato egg brought back my childhood memories the nostalgia! The beef cubes were so tender and flavorful. The noodles are perfectly al dente with a little bite. Not to mention the bowl is huge! This place is legit!

The dumplings were good as well but I prefer some of the other SGV greats.

I live out by San Bernardino and drive here just for a sub that's how good they are. Bacon, avocado, turkey the best in my opinion. Hope they continue their legacy for years to come. “We ordered the Skewers Mixed Grill (Mshakkal) from Aladdin Jr Restaurant and Cafe in Covina through DoorDash and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size is incredible — it says it serves 2–3 people, but honestly it easily fed four of us with leftovers. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
The meats were tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the variety in the mixed grill makes it perfect for sharing. The rice and sides complemented the skewers really well and everything tasted fresh and authentic.
Another thing we really appreciated was the packaging. Our order arrived neatly packed and still warm, which makes such a difference when ordering delivery.
We’ve ordered from here multiple times and they’re consistently good, and the portions always leave us with leftovers for the next day (which taste just as great!).
The only thing we wish is that they offered their own delivery, because we would definitely order even more often. But even through DoorDash, it’s totally worth it.

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

Yuzu can sometimes be overpowering, but the chef used it perfectly to enhance the overall taste. It really brought the entire roll together. I especially enjoyed the Crunchy Albacore Roll—the balance of flavors was spot on.
The chirashi bowl was also plentiful and a great value for the price. The fish was very fresh, but the standout part was the rice. I’ve honestly never had sushi rice quite like this before. In addition to the classic vinegary sushi rice flavor, there was a subtle hint of yuzu that added an extra layer of freshness. When paired with the fish, it made the whole experience feel even more elevated.
If you come between 5:00 and 6:30, they offer 15% off during happy hour, which makes the experience even better.
