I had an amazing experience at this Juan Pollo! The food was absolutely delicious — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. The sides were fresh and flavorful, especially the potato salad, which has to be the BEST potato salad out there.

What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure everything was to my liking and served everything quickly with a smile.

“Today is 6/3/26, Tho I have been ordering from here for 40 years. Awesome Food. I change my Ham and Avocado Sandwich order a bit differently. Whenever a girl takes my order does it incorrectly even though she repeats it correctly. Today...Ham and Avocado sandwich with jalapeño slices in sandwich. Lettuce and tomato slices on SIDE. So my sandwich does not get moist. Nope, No jalapeño, lettuce in sandwich very wet, tomatoes on side yes. Last year before doing changes on how I order. Went for a Ham and Avocado sandwich. Went to my friends house to enough lunch. To find NO Ham in my sandwich. I was so pissed, called, girl answered, said that's the way I ordered it. After 40 years really.“

“I was welcomed by several friendly women. I ordered two of the stuffed crust and some bread sticks. They have readily made pizza but the specialty pizza takes around 20 minutes or so. Excellent service and low wait times. My parents and I loved the food. Prices are decent too.“

“Double play pizza has a soft spot in my heart. Everything is amazingly delicious and inexpensive. The owners are the sweetest people you can ever meet. They go over and beyond for their customers like bringing your pizza over to your car when they don’t have to. Or gifting my toddler a pizza box for his pizza play set at home. My two year old loves coming here because the owners always talk to him, give him lollipops and are so sweet to him. I’m so happy to have found this place when we moved out here two years ago.“

“I've been going for over 30 years and was so disappointed in their food today. I get that food prices have gone up and the portions are smaller these day. I like the smaller portions. But to serve a half basket of chips and salsa in a little dressing cup that my chip cant fit in was disappointing. Their delicious green salsa verde with piece of meat in it was so not the same taste and was not good. I dont know when and if I'll ever go back again because of the disappointing quality of food.“

“Always love going to casa jimenez!!! My favorite is the caldo de pollo always fresh and delicious i get sick often so this is my go to place. Always feel a little better when i eat this soup, customer service is always great love the men servers always so polite and respectful. Atmosphere is always nice and clean as well. “Ive lived in La Puente for over 25 years and today was the first time Ive been here. I originally was craving In n Out which is across the street, but is always soo packed. I came here since there was no line and they also have a drive thru. Ordered a burger with orange bang and fries. The workers were so friendly and the combo was such a good deal. Under $12 and the burger was big and came with alot of fries! Ill be back.“

Along with the flavor, another one of my favorite things about this place is they are not skimpy. I usually get a large and can spread it out over two days because it is so filling. The fish scoops are packed and they hook it up with the toppings and sauces.“

The food is AUTHENTIC Mexican flavor. The service is beyond what i expected with my waitress. If your looking for flavor, authenticity, value and great service. You found the place! Our family favorites are chow mein, chow fun, orange chicken, bbq pork, egg foo Yung and work wonton soup... The soup is in a larger container than usual. Various drinks and boba available. Got 3 3 items combos work wonton soup extra rice noodles and rice and a lrg coke for $56. Fed 6 people with almost half leftover. They also have a special 3 lrg items and rice,noodles egg flower or hot & sour soup and 4.soda.cans
$30.99. I recommend. They have a few tables but we always takeout.“

“This place is so good! They have an extensive menu that includes seafood, soups, traditional Mexican dishes and breakfast as well as aguas frescas. We’ve tried the flautas, sopes, huaraches, tacos dorados, enchiladas, French fries and agua de melon & Jamaica. Their coffee is served hot and is very tasty. They give chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious. They get busy and sometimes it takes them a while to come around for refills but overall the staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Since discovering this hidden gem, we’ve already been back twice and will continue to return. Also, their prices are very reasonable and the portions are great as well.“

“Food was good and service was friendly. Bacon was crispy but not fresh. You can tell that it's pretty cooked hours or the day before. It's the only thing that's barely warm and dry. Makes a difference. For a $20 breakfast it should be fresh.“

My first time here, so I called my order in for pick up. it was ready when I arrived and brought it home to eat. It had vegetables, broth, cha chu pork, dumplings and was simply delicious. Definitely buying it again. The restaurant has good prices and seating. They also have the 1. 2 or three entree specials. My soup and steamed rice came out to $15.20. which is the average. I enjoyed it and saved 1/2 for later.“

“Came on a Sunday morning, all tables where full and there was only one server available, but she was as fast as she could be. We tried the sopa de pollo, sopa de camaron con crema, platanos fritos and pollo con crema. The sopas give homemade vibes, thr platanos were not too greasy which I really appreciate, the frijol was very flavorful. The pollo con crema was not our favorite only because they usee chicken breast but the spices were on point. We also tried their arrayan juice, magnificent! The food took about 30 minutes to get to us from the time we ordered which is pretty fast for a Salvi restaurant if ykyk. The only downside is that once the food is served to you, you will not see the server again because of how busy she is. But you only need to stand and go ask for whatever you need, the girl is really nice. I highly recommend supporting this place!“
