“I was welcomed by several friendly women. I ordered two of the stuffed crust and some bread sticks. They have readily made pizza but the specialty pizza takes around 20 minutes or so. Excellent service and low wait times. My parents and I loved the food. Prices are decent too.“

I had an amazing experience at this Juan Pollo! The food was absolutely delicious — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. The sides were fresh and flavorful, especially the potato salad, which has to be the BEST potato salad out there.

What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure everything was to my liking and served everything quickly with a smile.

It's been 28 years since we ate here so we had the La Indiana burrito since that's our favorite plate. “If I can give them 10 stars I would. I have ate here several times. They’re breakfast items, birria, birria tacos, Menudo (amazing) are so delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking of their food. It’s so comforting to eat here and the flavors are all so familiar to my own childhood cooking memories. I ordered their Birria beef package and it was beyond the star of the party. Every one of my guests kept asking who made it. It’s soooo good.
The beans and rice were perfect. They provide homemade tortillas de Mano that are amazingly delicious and warm wrapped in aluminum foil sets of a dozen. They include all the fixings(cilantro, cebolla, limon) and provided it in the most beautiful presentation tray where it’s easy for my guests to help themselves. They also provide salsas and the spicy birria salsa. I mean it’s Tuesday and my guests are still texting me where is this place.

“I've been going for over 30 years and was so disappointed in their food today. I get that food prices have gone up and the portions are smaller these day. I like the smaller portions. But to serve a half basket of chips and salsa in a little dressing cup that my chip cant fit in was disappointing. Their delicious green salsa verde with piece of meat in it was so not the same taste and was not good. I dont know when and if I'll ever go back again because of the disappointing quality of food.“

“Double play pizza has a soft spot in my heart. Everything is amazingly delicious and inexpensive. The owners are the sweetest people you can ever meet. They go over and beyond for their customers like bringing your pizza over to your car when they don’t have to. Or gifting my toddler a pizza box for his pizza play set at home. My two year old loves coming here because the owners always talk to him, give him lollipops and are so sweet to him. I’m so happy to have found this place when we moved out here two years ago.“

It's my go to though out of my area. 3 item.combo.with rice/noodles $11.59 3rd item is in a separate container since main box is too full. Our family favorites are chow mein, chow fun, orange chicken, bbq pork, egg foo Yung and work wonton soup... The soup is in a larger container than usual. Various drinks and boba available. Got 3 3 items combos work wonton soup extra rice noodles and rice and a lrg coke for $56. Fed 6 people with almost half leftover. They also have a special 3 lrg items and rice,noodles egg flower or hot & sour soup and 4.soda.cans
$30.99. I recommend. They have a few tables but we always takeout.“

“Casa Jimenez is a great place if you've got a modest budget snd a big appetite.

They have plentiful Mexican cuisine plates that all bring big flavor and big portions; and if that isn't enough, they even have an AYCE deal!

The AYCE deal is a limited menu of single portion entrees that you pick 3 of, per plate. Each plate also comes with rice and refried beans with cheese and your choice of a lighter albondigas soup or a salad.

Personally, with me and mine being foodies, we all go for the AYCE for the variety.

Each plate comes out hot and plated fresh, though sometimes the entrees taste like they may have been frozen beforehand (the beef tamale in particular).

If you want something fresh, stick with the carnitas and the carnitas tacos - that's what I do!

The singular drawback for us eating here is the food comes out slow, so plan accordingly!

tl:dr - Great eats, big plates, price is reasonable, the AYCE deal is great, give it a go if you are hungry!“

“This place is so good! They have an extensive menu that includes seafood, soups, traditional Mexican dishes and breakfast as well as aguas frescas. We’ve tried the flautas, sopes, huaraches, tacos dorados, enchiladas, French fries and agua de melon & Jamaica. Their coffee is served hot and is very tasty. They give chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious. They get busy and sometimes it takes them a while to come around for refills but overall the staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Since discovering this hidden gem, we’ve already been back twice and will continue to return. Also, their prices are very reasonable and the portions are great as well.“

“Been going here for 30 years, the food has not changed one bit and that's a good thing. It is delicious (and now, nostalgic). I do not live in the area anymore but every time I do come back and have a chance, I get their two entree combo with half chow mein half fried rice. My go-to is their orange chicken, pepper beef, jalepeno chicken, mushroom chicken, and their beef broccoli can't go wrong. (The kung pao chicken is best at Fusion Bowl in Eagle Rock, sorry Happy Wok).

They are somehow slow to change against inflation so its still relatively cheap, especially how generous the portions are. Service is quick and efficient. I basically feel guilty if I don't tip them. Ample dining room. Gets packed during meal time hours and line sometimes out the door. Don't change, Happy Wok.
