“When we told drive-through order-taker Aaliyah this was our first ever In-N-Out visit she went out of her way to carefully explain the menu. At the drive up window Xley had already been alerted to our newby status and was over-the-top helpful, explaining we were lucky that Elaine (the best grill cook) was making our order and thanking us for choosing their store for our first visit. As we were eating in their picnic area, Aaliyah came by to make sure we were happy with our food (we were!) and to thank us for our business. Absolutely 5 stars!“

“Honestly, this place is such a hidden gem in Avocado Heights. If you're craving some solid, no-nonsense comfort food, this is the spot. The teriyaki chicken is always perfectly grilled, super juicy, not dry at all, and they do not skimp on the sauce. The portions are huge for what you pay, so you're definitely getting your money's worth.

“Decent food. It's one of the better spots in the area. The orange chicken was fire. The sweet and sour pork was good with the flavor but heavy on the breading. The chow mein was basic but good. The fried noodles were burnt unfortunately. Egg rolls were pretty good and the sauce had a nice little spice to it. All in all 7 out of 10 and I would go back.“

“For the price you can't get anything better, you get a lot of food with it. The food is really really good for the price, anything better would cost at least twice as much. Which is the only reason not giving it a complete 5 starts.

4.4 star food at prices of what you'd normally pay for 3 star food. Really worth going if you want to get your money's worth. Just wish you could get half order of onion rings. At least with meals. A whole order is a bit much for one person, yet they are pretty good. It's sharing size for at least 2 peeps. Yet if that's the only negative, I'll take it.“

“Talk about great food and history. The inside is filled with memorabilia from history. The service was great, I asked for a suggestion on what to get and I'm satisfied with it. I got the bacon avocado burger combo additionally I chose to get the asada chesadilla into the mix and man that was a good idea it was like I was in Mexico again with the ingredients fresh. Only caviot with the quesadilla was that it was soaked in oil. Usually when making that style of quesadilla you put just enough oil to soak in and cook with the tortilla but for it to be like that it was swimming in oil. Not to say it was bad but it was delicious but it could of been healthier with a little oil moderation. Overall great food environment and service. Definitely going back maybe even making it a once a week addition.“

“Been going here for 30 years, the food has not changed one bit and that's a good thing. It is delicious (and now, nostalgic). I do not live in the area anymore but every time I do come back and have a chance, I get their two entree combo with half chow mein half fried rice. My go-to is their orange chicken, pepper beef, jalepeno chicken, mushroom chicken, and their beef broccoli can't go wrong. (The kung pao chicken is best at Fusion Bowl in Eagle Rock, sorry Happy Wok).

They are somehow slow to change against inflation so its still relatively cheap, especially how generous the portions are. Service is quick and efficient. I basically feel guilty if I don't tip them. Ample dining room. Gets packed during meal time hours and line sometimes out the door. Don't change, Happy Wok.

“Small Subway in a strip mall location. Was decent and the girl behind the counter was nice enough even when I asked for my normal extra tomatoes 🍅 😋 My only problem with the location is they're was only the one girl working, so it took longer to take and get orders no matter how fast she was.“

“Probably one of the nicer Burger King restaurants in my area.
There's Always plenty of room available inside & its nice & quiet.
I'm a Burger King luver so I tend to think the food is Always great.
I'm not usually in a hurry so I usually dine in & I can be kinda loud & annoying & I don't think the staff liked me too much but they were cool about it.
I recommend the Double Whopper, The Bacon King, & The Texas Whopper.
The fries are great, I just wish their fries portion sizes were bigger & I wish Burger King still had self serve ketchup dispensers.
Also their tacos are good & I usually get their chicken fingers too just to kinda mix it up, I eat a lot of cheeseburgers so its cool their menu has the diversity that gives me options.“
