“We walked in and sat down right away. There's plenty of space in their newly expanded eating area. Chips and roasted salsa came out right away. Salsa was warm and tasted really good. Not my first time here and services is always good. Did not wait long to place my order for my shrimp burrito, wet style. Filling and delicious. The cheese and sauce they pour over was great to scoop up with some extra chips.“
“Visited this establishment the other day. It is a small venue, but the people who work here make you feel welcome. I tried some empanadas (shrimp) were delicious! I had a campechana cocktail and a tostada de camarón. Both of these were also delicious. I loved the chips and salsa and I appreciated the fact that the food here is made fresh as soon as you order. The service here is great. The ladies who work here are courteous and very friendly. It was a good first impression and I would definitely come back to dine here.“
“A small Mariscos/ seafood restaurant located in an unassuming strip mall on the border of La Puente/ City of Industry. I'm not sure if it's gonna change, but as of 9/23, this place is only open Fri - Sun. Kind a hard to spot from the outside or driving by but once you get in this place is a clean, cozy mom-and-pop style restaurant. The folks here are always friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and fresh and really, really reasonable in terms of pricing. I've been here three times now as I'm writing this and I think it's one of my new favorite spots. Since it is only open on Friday through the weekend, I only have been here for Friday lunches. The food: Dorados de camaron taco - my go to. Had at least one on all my visits. Perfectly fried, crisp on the outside, and a plump / good amount filling in the middle. It might rival another place that's famous in Los Angeles for fried shrimp tacos. And also, am I crazy to think that this reminds me of some shrimp Vietnamese egg rolls I've had? I just love this item so much. Ceviche tostada - super fresh with a clean flavor and generous amount of topping with avocado. Filete empanizado / pescado estilo Ensenada tacos - i'm a big fan of both these tacos as well. Just a big serving of perfectly fried fish with delicious toppings. Coctel de camaron - really reasonable pricing for a good amount of delicious fresh shrimp in a not too spicy cocktail sauce. Overall, I just really like this place. I like everything about it. It's one of those places where I feel like I'm the only non-native Spanish-speaking person that comes in which I feel like is a sign for a good time. Especially with the music.“
“Any neighborhood where I seem to keep on finding some gems, I would add this to the list. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but you walk in and it's a pretty large, nautical themed mariscos restaurant. The folks here were super friendly. I came in, got seated right away and was given some chips and salsa while looking over the menu. The salsa has a nice kick to it and was tasty. I don't think I've ever had it, so I ordered the aguachile verde. Super fresh shrimp and really fresh ingredients. The sauce was spicy. Prob right at my personal threshold. I really loved the citrusy acidity of the sauce, which was balanced by the earthiness of the red onion. Just a really delicious fresh dish. I thought the prices were reasonable especially for what I got. Definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back and try some of the other items on the menu.Parking was pretty easy for me especially at lunch on a weekday. I'm not sure how it is on the weekends.“
“Food is fresh and delicious. Does not have like a dirt taste to it like some other seafood places I've been to. They really hook it up and are not stingy with their seafood.its not like they're counting shrimps, again, like other places. They got few TV's and I believe a jukebox for entertainment. Staff is polite and friendly. Been here twice and I like it.“
“One of the best garlic fish in LA County, Orange, Riverside, etc…. Delicious flavor and great size. Accompanied by salad and French fries; There is an option of beans and rice too. The place is very clean and tidy. The menu options are spectacular and I will surely return to try more. The service is very good too. The music was very loud and I asked if they could lower the volume and they very kindly did so. I was able to eat in peace. Thank you.“
“4++ small unassuming seafood spot in an unassuming strip mall. Not a lot of frills here just delicious seafood at a very reasonable price. Come in order at the counter and have a seat and they bring you the food from what I remember. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful.I thought the prices I first looked a little high, but you seriously get so much food. I ordered two tostadas and a taco. I seriously can. I have just one tostada as was loaded with fresh ceviche. The flavors here are really good and everything tastes fresh. Inside, there is a counter, but almost feels like a deli. At this counter, you can order some fresh ceviche or other goodies. If you are just looking for a quick spot where he had delicious, fresh mariscos, then I think you have found a good spot. I definitely would come back if I was in the area.“
“Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant you will not regret it, it's a little hole in the wall, but it is fantastic every time my wife and I come here and try different things we love it, yes it they have weird hours so make sure to check before you come.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carnaby St. Fish and Chips, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a delightful hint of nostalgia. Now, let's talk about the food. The fish and chips were simply phenomenal. The shrimp was fresh and fried to perfection, perfectly complemented by the crispy golden batter. The chips were thick-cut and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of salt. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, and I found myself savoring every morsel. What I appreciate the most about Carnaby St. Fish and Chips is their commitment to quality. It's evident that they use only the finest ingredients, and every dish is cooked with great attention to detail. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality you receive. The staff deserves special mention as well. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and offer recommendations from the menu.In conclusion, I highly recommend Carnaby St. Fish and Chips to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. I can confidently say that you won't be disappointed.“
“The filete sarrandiado is the best! Dont skimp out on the sauce they give its like a chili sauce wouldn't call it a salsa. Usually, at Mexican restaurants they lag with rice and beans, but the beans were really good the rice was normal. I would say their ceviche wasn't the best I've had but also wasn't bad. It was packed for a Monday afternoon, and their seating is limited. Make sure u take cash, but if you forget they have an ATM machine.“
“It'll never go wrong with Bay Poke. The freshness of the fish variety down to the salad greens and then the attention to details on the packaging. It just tells me that the crew running the business really do care about their job, which unfortunately is not something we can say everyday.“
“Went here after Astra Lumina just to eat mariscos. We definitely didn't expect what we walked into! There was a birthday party going on so, live music, karaoke and just an amazing environment. Waitress was very sweet and super attentive even with all the stuff going on! The food was amazing! Definitely going again soon!!“
“Some of the best burritos and menudo around 20mile radius.??Today i visited this place order food to go not sure what happened provably changed the cook, but the food went from 10 to like a 4 order lengua burritos they had cheese no cilantro no onion. They taste nasty that's not how they made burritos before, that suxs cuse they use to be good.“
“A great place with fresh seafood, the best part of it was the service that Gloria provided us, she was phenomenal on top of the order and attentive. This place has fresh food and please when you come look for Gloria you won't be disappointed.“
“The food was very good and the restaurant was very clean the only thing that fell behind was the service (wrong drink, not utensils, forgot to put in a food item). I'm sure if you come when it's not as busy you won't have any issues either way will definitely be coming back to give another try.“
“I came here on a whim. It looked like it had recently opened up not long ago. If you dine in, they offer free chips and homestyle salsa that is incredibly fresh. The inside ambiance is between an actual restaurant and fast food chain. The tacos and burritos were off the hook. Great quality meats. I had chili verde, asada and shrimp, and all 3 were above par. I also partook in their own style of michelada mix. Although i enjoyed it, i thought the price was a bit steep. If they brought down the price a bit for the michelada mix (as it's a separate charge) from ordering a beer. I would be downing a lot more of them. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The establishment was very clean inside and out. The waitress was attentive, the food was great, and i will definitely be coming back. One of the better mexican food joints in the immediate area.“
