“This is such an amazing restaurant! I first came here in 2024, but I left LA for a while and hadn’t been back in a long time. When I decided to come again today, I was honestly a little worried. Two years had passed, and I wondered if the food would still be as good as I remembered, or if the fish would still be as fresh. Thankfully, my worries were completely unnecessary!

I ordered a similar combo to what I had two years ago. The price has gone up a little, but honestly, I think that’s completely reasonable given how much the cost of everything has increased. My friend initially thought it was a little expensive, but once the food started coming out, he completely changed his mind and said the meal was absolutely worth it.

We ordered the $90-per-person combo, and it was SO much food. Every time we thought the meal was finished, the owner would come out with another dish! The lobster was unbelievably fresh—you could actually see its antennae still moving when it arrived at our table. At the end, they took the lobster head and claws to make soup for us, and the soup was delicious.

The uni rice was just as amazing as I remembered it, and the grilled salmon head was another highlight. It was incredibly fatty, rich, and flavorful. You can really tell they use high-quality salmon. My friend even joked that the salmon must never have exercised in the ocean because it was THAT fatty 😂

The staff are Korean, and they were incredibly kind and attentive. I asked the owner if I could take some of their barley tea home because I really liked it. They didn’t have any disposable cups available at the time, but the owner actually went out of his way to give me a cup and poured some barley tea for me to take home. I really appreciated that small gesture!

We also had some sashimi left over, and when they packed it for us, they even included an ice pack to keep it fresh.

Overall, this is absolutely a restaurant that gives you way more than what you pay for. The food was incredibly fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was wonderful. Most importantly, this restaurant genuinely made my night. I will definitely be coming back again! ❤

“LET ME TELL YOU.... This Place is the BOMB.... I almost didn't go because I was going to the Italian resteraunf next door believing the hype.... NO... skip the Italian resteraunt and come here... Sat down.. in the end I couldn't even stop eating when I went in not too hungry... but it was worth it and the price is worth the Quality. They don't use any cheap stuff and fresh Only.

I order this food and I can be picky... This is the Best Resteraunt Next to Peohe's in San Diego Coronado... I am not exaggerating... i don't know who the chef is or the owners but BELIEVE THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE ON T.V ... the way it looks on the plate, the taste, Every detail made me feel like im in Hawaii in a movie eating. The Price Matches the Quality and you get Enough food... not any food It has tastes that you have never had.

Do Not go to the Italian Resteraunt across it sucks, the service sucks, food is over rated go to this place I recommend it to others. It tastes like the Best food in San Diego. I drove almost an hour to go eat here and was worth it.

Ignore the bad reviews I saw some Karen's on here already complaining that's orange county for you... entitled. ... but Go for urself. The drinks too were so unique. Will be back over and over..“

“It was our first time here. Wanted to try somewhere different. It’s more affordable than the places back in Garden Grove. When we first got sat, we were very confused on what to do. Tan came over and helped us out a lot. I observed other workers just pacing around but Tan was the only one hustling from table to table to assist. Food was great. Grill size is a bit limited which was my only complaint. But definitely recommend coming here“

We always get their Mix Fajitas has chicken, aside shrimp and fish. Seeved with beans and rice tortillas. Although I wish they would add condiments like sour cream, guacamole and Pico de gallo otherwise this is a great buy and can be enough for 2 persons. 2025: We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch. The steamed buns are so addictive! I love everything I have tried so far.
Plenty of parking, napkins are stored in a drawer under table top. The Middle section Seatings are very nice.
Steamed buns, dumplings and noodles were so good. The cold chicken and soup were blend. Gnats often found hovering over the sauce station. Bathroom generally are clean.
Servers were doing their best but there’s room for improvement. On one occasion four servers were running around like chicken with no heads for less than 30 diners. I’ve seen more efficient servers elsewhere.
The pricy dinner menu is not enticing, the seafood is steamed together so some can be over or under cooked. I don’t see the price hyped up compared to steaming them at home at $68-$88 pp.
I’m leaving this long comments in the hopes that this restaurant can survive because the buns, dumplings are exceptionally good!!“

“Love me a fish taco from taco nazo. This time I had the cravings for a shrimp cocktail as well - superb choice it turned out to be. Everything was very satisfying, good portion size, quick turn around.

They didn't have shrimp ceviche but kindly told me when they would prep more. Good service.“

“Came here based on recommendations from our friends and it did not disappoint. We ordered the sushi boat for 2 which came with thick cuts of sashimi, deep fried soft shelled crab, shrimp and veggie tempura, fried chicken, and teriyaki (we got the beef and chicken mix). There was so much food it was probably enough to serve 4 people!

They offer miso soup and edamame for the table when you get seated. The restaurant itself is pretty small but we came for a late dinner on Fri and was seated immediately. Sashimi is very fresh and portions were generous. Our friends really recommend the chirashi bowl so that’s what we’re gonna get next time we’re back. What a hidden gem of a restaurant! :)“

We were intrigued because it occupies the same space as Supatra's, a spot we used to frequent years ago before the change in ownership. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly within a minute of our arrival. My wife follows a gluten-free vegan diet, and Thai food has always been a reliable choice for her. She called in advance to ensure options were available, and the staff was accommodating. Our server, Paul, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the kitchen was informed about my wife's dietary needs, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Mango Mood drink: Another hit, beautifully balanced and refreshing. Wine: A familiar choice for my wife that paired well with the meal. String Beans and Eggplant: Very delicious, with bold and flavorful seasoning. Crying Tiger: Unfortunately, this dish didn't meet my expectations and is one we wouldn't recommend. “Kept seeing friends on social media posting about this place, I am a big fan of Mariscos and live in La Verne, very limited to places like this. Decided to make the short drive and glad we did. The restaurant was clean and bright, vibes were great, very family friendly and had a lot of decorations for the world cup which was cool.
