“My service organization regularly came to Silver Spoons' predecessor, so when we found out that Silver Spoons was open, we made the restaurant our next meeting location so we can try it out!

I usually order my go-to to test out a Thai restaurant, so I ordered the pork pad see ew ($14.95) and mild golden curry with chicken ($14.95). I would've ordered a fried rice, but the mild papaya salad ($13.95) caught my attention instead. Note that the dishes come with your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu included in the price, but if you want beef, it'll be an extra dollar, and for shrimp, an extra $2. What was surprising was that the curry doesn't come with white rice. You'd have to fork out an extra $2.50 for that. I thought everything tasted great, though both the papaya salad and pad see ew was a little heavy on the sauce.

My friend ordered mango sticky rice ($12.99) for dessert and I was surprised and happy they had that available (I went to another Thai restaurant during Christmas time and while they had the mango sticky rice on the menu, they said it was not in season so they weren't selling any). I took a few bites of it and enjoyed it -- not too sweet and not too heavy! Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free Thai tea.

Service was pretty good! There's plenty of space inside for small and large groups. Plentiful parking too in the parking lot.“

“We've lived in Diamond bar for six years and we've never eaten here. Today was the day and we were not disappointed. Kennis our server did a great job welcoming us and giving us a full rundown of the menu. Food was great! Loved the Clam chowder and the pasta noodles. The garlic bread was very fresh and the wife had the fried rice with corn, cajun sausages and shrimp. We will definitely be back to make up for lost time.“

“It’s a place I’d love to visit often, but since I live far away, I always stop by whenever I’m in the area. They make excellent stews the goat tripe hot pot is especially delicious. I’ve heard they make their sundae in-house as well. Truly a fantastic spot.“

“I've come here for years now, my dad is a regular and they know him. I love the tea they serve during dinner, always warm and refilled multiple times. We always order walnut shrimp, egg drop soup, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, Hong Kong style fish fillet, and ginger/garlic lobster dish. I would also recommend the duck! It comes with soft white buns and crispy colorful chips, very moist and delicious! Would always come 2 to 3 times a year.“

“LET ME TELL YOU.... This Place is the BOMB.... I almost didn't go because I was going to the Italian resteraunf next door believing the hype.... NO... skip the Italian resteraunt and come here... I order this food and I can be picky... This is the Best Resteraunt Next to Peohe's in San Diego Coronado... I am not exaggerating... i don't know who the chef is or the owners but BELIEVE THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE ON T.V ... the way it looks on the plate, the taste, Every detail made me feel like im in Hawaii in a movie eating. The Price Matches the Quality and you get Enough food... not any food It has tastes that you have never had.

Do Not go to the Italian Resteraunt across it sucks, the service sucks, food is over rated go to this place I recommend it to others. It tastes like the Best food in San Diego. I drove almost an hour to go eat here and was worth it.

Ignore the bad reviews I saw some Karen's on here already complaining that's orange county for you... entitled. ... but Go for urself. The drinks too were so unique. Will be back over and over..“

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. “We ordered 2 of the Mahi shrimp tacos with beans and rice and the shrimp salad. The food was pretty good. The lady that took our order was friendly and polite. The couple negatives would be as they were making our food, one of the workers were picking out the bad pieces of iceberg lettuce from the tray with their bare hands. The other was we didn't realize they did not include our rice and beans. We did not check our bag until we arrived home. It was only a couple $$ and after a long day of being on the road we didn't feel like going back. It was close to closing time for them and I do not doubt if we went back they would have fulfilled our order. I would just recommend on takeout to check your order before leaving and also for the employee to wear gloves.“

2025: We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch. The steamed buns are so addictive! I love everything I have tried so far.
Plenty of parking, napkins are stored in a drawer under table top. The Middle section Seatings are very nice.
Steamed buns, dumplings and noodles were so good. The cold chicken and soup were blend. Gnats often found hovering over the sauce station. Bathroom generally are clean.
Servers were doing their best but there’s room for improvement. On one occasion four servers were running around like chicken with no heads for less than 30 diners. I’ve seen more efficient servers elsewhere.
The pricy dinner menu is not enticing, the seafood is steamed together so some can be over or under cooked. I don’t see the price hyped up compared to steaming them at home at $68-$88 pp.
I’m leaving this long comments in the hopes that this restaurant can survive because the buns, dumplings are exceptionally good!!“

We were intrigued because it occupies the same space as Supatra's, a spot we used to frequent years ago before the change in ownership. We called ahead to make a reservation and were seated promptly within a minute of our arrival. My wife follows a gluten-free vegan diet, and Thai food has always been a reliable choice for her. She called in advance to ensure options were available, and the staff was accommodating. Our server, Paul, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure the kitchen was informed about my wife's dietary needs, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Mango Mood drink: Another hit, beautifully balanced and refreshing. Wine: A familiar choice for my wife that paired well with the meal. String Beans and Eggplant: Very delicious, with bold and flavorful seasoning. Crying Tiger: Unfortunately, this dish didn't meet my expectations and is one we wouldn't recommend. Overall, the food was excellent, aside from the Crying Tiger, and the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Paul for his attentiveness and genuine kindness.
